Could be both, or neither. Though, Audi does tend to set residual values closest to actual market value, as compared to other luxury brands.

I don't think it has anything to do with performance. The A3 has a lot lower residuals than the A4, as well.
That's more about size and demand.

Hi.

I'm looking at an S3 Prem+.
I was told that invoice on an S3 is -6% from MSRP.
Is that correct?

I'm likely also going to add "Audi Care" to the S3.
Do I add that to the MSRP and also do the same percentage subtraction to get invoice?

If I do a loan purchase, is there an incentive/credit, and if so how much?

I was thinking about doing MSDs as I've done with my last 3 BMW leases, but doing the calculations I can only do 1 extra deposit as Audi requires a minimum of .00005 for a MF.

Even though leases on S3s are not that good, due to very low residuals, that may workout ok if I decide to buy the S3 after 3 years, as I'll be able to buy it for potentially much less than it's actual resale value.
It seems that S3 used values are a good bit higher than the leases suggest.
Audi would sell a lot more leases of S3s if they would up the residuals to a more realistic level.

"Invoice" is a misleading term. You'll never really know how much the dealer paid Audi for the car - lots of hidden incentives nobody knows about.

We've maintained that 6% off MSRP is a good price, before incentives.

AudiCare adds 1% to the residual value, and is not added to MSRP.

Correct on MSDs - base MF is so low to begin with that they won't really help; .00005 is the minimum MF that AFS will allow.

Audi actually tends to set residual value for leases pretty close to market value; other brands tend to inflate the residual to achieve a lower lease payment, but the end of lease residual is much higher than the actual value of the car.

I get $552/mo.+tax with those numbers.
Looks like there is a dealer fee hiding in there.. guessing it comes out of the $2500, before they apply the balance to the adjusted CAP.

In other words, you have a net price of $44,976, but you are putting $2500 upfront. Subtract 1st payment (rebated earlier), and that leaves about $1900 to apply to the CAP cost. When I do that, I get $43,088 as the adjusted CAP cost. You'll notice they never give you that number (adjusted CAP).
That gives me $552/mo.+tax. Your price is about $572/mo, assuming 7% sales tax.

So, still missing $720-$750...
