Food & Drink at autoshow: $10
Getting to see the STi up-close while the general public watches (irregardless of 'representation'): priceless
;-)

It's funny, I go to both the Baltimore and Washington cars shows. Baltimore is often thought of as a blue-collar town, as well as Washington's sometimes forgotten step-child. However, when it comes to car shows, the Baltimore show is so much better than the Washington show.
It really is a matter of timing. The Washington show is right after Christmas, but before the Detroit or LA shows. It is the "last" of last year's shows, whereas the Baltimore show follows the Detroit and LA shows by a couple of weeks, thereby allowing some of he new vehicles that were announced at those shows to appear at Baltimore. That couldn't have been more true than in the case of this year's Baltimore show.
Bob
Baltimore at least gets a few of the new debuts from Detriot, just a few weeks later. They had lots of cars I had not seen before, and that's great considering I'd been to the NY Auto Show in April of last year.
Still, I was bummed that they did not show the new Quest or Sienna, but then again we did see the F150 and Titan.

Not so for Baltimore. Besides what you mentioned, there were the Subies, Chevy Malabu and cladding-free Avalanche, new Caddys, Maxima, GMC XUV, '04 Grand Cherokee, FX45 Infiniti, as well as a few others that currently escape my memory.
Bob
Baltimore also had the Endeavor and the New Beetle Cabrio. That's a good dozen or more debuts for the Mid-Atlantic region.
Plus there were some models that were open for the first time, so you could crawl inside.

Hypov's wagon did great and I pulled in times faster than a lot of the other WRXs with the AT in his wagon!

Probably won't. At least not for a while.

As an aside, one of these days I'll introduce myself in MTM.

A co-worker went last year on Good Friday at 4 p.m. and said the crowds were very light.
I'll be in SC that day.

Actually, I was thinking about joining up with the crew and going to the show. I live west of Philly. I don't want to drive and I think Amtrak is like $80 RT. I could take SEPTA & NJT; not sure how much that would be but of course it probably takes a day and a half going that route.
Are any PA, DE, MD or S. Jersey members driving?
If we get several, maybe do a R O A D T R I P. We could all meet up at that Park-'n-Ride that Hutch suggested when we went to Philly a couple of years ago. I don't mind driving if several share driving duties. It's a very long and tiring drive to do by yourself, after spending much of the day at the show. I know because I've done it before.

FWIW, I live 35 miles NNE of Philadelphia.
And yeah, I am cross-shopping the Forester XT and WRX wagon and really disappointed there's no AWP in the latter...oops, again wrong board. ;-)

Though I don't want to split up the Crew, there are certain advantages to going on different days. We get a full report from the 1st group, and then follow-up with things we missed with the 2nd group.
Last year I went up early with Bob, but paisan and others went a few days later and picked up on some major items we overlooked. That was key, actually.
So, no harm done if we cover both days. Doesn't seem like anyone will have to go alone, FWIW.

For those that cannot go, please do go ahead and attend on the 25th, like I said we always miss some things.
Last year was hilarious, paisan went "on assignment" and caught everything we missed. :-)

I asked SoA yesterday, and their Marketing People advised today that it won't be there.
Hello Marketing People Geneva is only Switzerland.
New York... New York is the Capital of the World.
Show it to the World.

New York... New York is the Capital of the World."
An English co-worker asked me why the heck Subaru unveiled it in Geneva. I dunno ...
-Dennis
However, not bringing it over to NY, in their biggest market (USA), given they're gauging reactions to it, is unexplicable. Maybe it was logistics or something.
