    Is it worth it to lock in a lease deal today or wait for new numbers tomorrow? I am assuming the RF will go down tomorrow making these worth less correct? The MF seems to be really low right now though so thinking of pulling the trigger tonight.

    Well I pulled the trigger, here is the deal I got:

    2019 Outback Limited with optional package and splash guards, seat back protectors, LED map and dome, rear bumper cover, all-weather mats, ext. auto dim mirror. Dealer added tint, price $37,236, sale price $32,053, monthly payment $374.26, $0 down, $0 drive off. 36/12 term, around 14% off MSRP.

    With that price, I get $330/mo plus tax for 36/15

    Hello! Can you please provide January numbers for money factor and residual value for both Subaru outback Premium 2.5 and 3.6 and 36/12K and 36/15K in NY Tri-State? If it's preferred, my zip is 10803. Is it worth paying extra for 15 K if that is what i drive per year? Also, edmunds' overall choice is the 2.5 4 cylinder even though acceleration is not the greatest. do you think paying extra for the 6 cylinder is worth it, even though you lose MPG efficiency? Thank you in advance!

    There is no premium trim for the 3.6
    Touring or Limited

    If you drive 15K/yr, you aren't paying extra for 15K, since that's what you need. Taking the proper mileage allowance is the cheapest way to drive those miles.

    Money for power is a personal decision. What I think is irrelevant.

    I did some calculations on a 3.6R limited in MA and it was $08.8 cents per mile for an additional 3000 miles per when purchased at the start of the lease. In other words 36/15 vs. 36/12.
    Whereas additional mileage over 12,000 miles per year at lease end of a 36/12 are charged at $0.15/mile, nearly double.
    For 36/18 vs. a 36/12 lease it was $09.4 cents per mile when purchased in the 36/18 lease vs. the same $0.15/charge per mile at lease end.
    So even if your slightly under the mileage at lease end if you purchased the additional miles in the lease you may still come out ahead since 15 cents a mile for every 3000 miles is $450.00 vs $264 if included in the lease.

    As the owner of an Outback with the 3.6 engine, I can tell you my wife would not drive the 4-cyl, as it was too slow in her opinion. If you can live with the MPG hit, I think you'd like the bigger engine.

    But, YMMV, and you should test drive both to see which you'd be happier with for 3 years.
