    @kyfdx So I just drove home a 2018 GT2 AWD, 24/12k, $473/mo, $2,119 DAS

    MSRP: $52,430
    Selling price: $45,995
    Acquisition fee: $650
    Extended wear & tear insurance: $456
    Gross cap cost: $47,101

    Incentives: $12,400
    Adjusted cap cost: $34,699
    Monthly w/7.75% tax: $472.68

    24/12
    RV: 52% ($27,264)
    MF: .00208 (base!)

    I got them to remove a $598 dealer-installed “identifier security” option, but opted to go with their $456 wear & tear insurance, and also got the MF knocked down to the base rate, which I only just learned about here the other day!

    On top of all this, they took my 2017 Kia Forte5 lease back with 9 months left on it, and didn’t charge me anything for it, so that was worth about $1,000-1,400 extra. And he asked if I wanted to put the Due at Signing amount on my credit card, so I earned some points for that too!

    My local Kia dealer (Weseloh Kia in Carlsbad, CA) is really nice to work with. They aren’t going to give away the cars—you have to do your homework to claw back some profit, but they’re some of the nicest car sales people I’ve dealt with. That contributed to my going back to them for this new deal.

    Looking at purchasing a 2018 GT2 AWD.  Wondering if the leases offer an early buyout option.  If so, can I get the numbers for whatever lease would offer the biggest incentives with an early cash buyout.

    Can't tell you much about early buyout. The incentive is a Kia-to-customer incentive, so their buyout could have some sort of clawback provision on an early buyout. That is unlikely, though. Much more likely that the dealer would get a chargeback, if the lease is closed out within 90 days.

    But, you'll have a hard time finding out the true answer, unless you have already leased the vehicle.

    Hi, since I bought a couple cars in the last couple of months, my friend came over and asked me to go look at a Stinger with him. It's a demo 2018 GT2 AWD, with about 4k miles, but can be sold as new.

    I'm thinking 20% off for a demo, plus the mileage @$0.20/mi. Is that reasonable, or something else, more?
    I'm looking to ensure that in 41042:
    24/12k: 53%, .00208, 10,400
    36/12k: 48%, .002, 8,600
    AWD bonus $1,000

    Is there a loyalty thing with Kia that can be stacked on a lease as well?

    How long is Kia going to continue leasing the 2018's? My local dealer claims there are no leases available for MY18 models anymore.
