Does Acura Finance do multiple security deposits to lower the MF (rather than a down payment towards cap cost reduction)? No one seems to mention this and one finance manager told me no.
How does the TMV account for the the lease incentive? It seems from reading articles on TMV on the website that it does take into account incentives in deriving the number, but then in different forums threads, it suggests you should subtract the incentive(s) from the TMV to derive a sales price. Further, there are sales incentives and lease incentives. In some forum posts I get the impression that if the current lease incentive is greater than the sales incentive for the vehicle, then the dollar amount to subtract from TMV for a lease negotiation sales price would be the lease incentive minus the sales incentive, because the sales incentive is already taken into account by the TMV calculation.
Finally, based upon articles in this website, it seems the simplest way to evaluate various deals is either a comparison of the total transaction cost over the period of the lease, or even dividing by the lease miles to get a cost per mile of the lease, not so much focussing on a specific negotiated vehicle sales price. (Of course sales price is reflected in that final number and is one of the few negotiable variables here, since RV and MF seemed to be fixed.)

No MSD program for Acura
TMV is for purchase. To modify it for a lease, you have to know the incentive difference between a purchase and a lease (as you noted).
If the deals you are comparing are for the same vehicle/MSRP, then compare the deals with the same parameters (term/mileage, money upfront, etc).
When comparing deals between different models, a total lease cost comparison is good, as long as the lease terms are the same.
