Could you give us the official weights of each model?
Thanks!
-Ian
Check out www.cars101.com. Joe Spitz has all the options listed. I think the only options are to add a subwoofer and amplifier.

Craig
Mark - We're praying for equally good news from you.

Frank: I say 3 days. That's typical for a new turbo owner. :-)
Just saw one today, again. Stopped by to say hi to my dealer friend.
Oh, and that Home Depot gift card came in, $25 for doing a Subaru test drive.
Patti: EPA mpg for all models, curb weights, invoice prices, if you have all that. Whatever else you find interesting. You won't bore this group.

I had to take the wheels off my compressor to get it in the 31" high liftgate opening (and I learned that the Forester has the same ~31" high opening despite looking taller).
All our talk about compressors and loading up wagons made me think a picture was called for.
Craig
Picked it up Saturday and quickly put 130 miles on it. Had 5 to start with. Put a quick coat of AIO on after dusting it. (OCD is alive and well)

got the Cobb rear bar in today. It's on the mildest setting, and already it's an awful lot of bar. The car NEEDS that front one. It would be a great autocross setup though; she definitely likes to shake that booty now. Car feels great though, only to see how it feels in the rain. Prudence is the watchword until the whole system is in place.
FWIW Cobb shipped FSBs that were out of spec and don't fit. I found out the hard way. :-(
Looking good.

It's an '04, built in March. I actually firmly believe it is quieter and better riding than our Outback was. Killed it twice so far, both times *forgetting* the hill-holder was 'on'. The kids seats fit fine and Brooke likes "Daddy's new car". :-)
Apparently, it was sitting in Portland for a while before the Illinois regional noticed and put it on HOT SHIP to the dealer. I probably could have had it 1 week earlier if they were on top of that. Dealer owes me a moonroof appt, will schedule that this week.
Dealer experience was top notch. No pressure, no hype. Where's that survey, these guys are getting good marks!

Mark - More positive vibes headed you and your family's way.
Brian - Oh dear! Not black! ;-) Have fun keeping it clean, and have even more fun driving it!

Sweet-lookin' ride there. Enjoy!

My question is, did you wax before or after you drove it for 150 miles (LOL)?
It's sweet! I'm envious again! ;-)

I'm eagerly awaiting the Outback XT at the local dealer. Hopefully there will be a 5-speed to test drive.
Spent Mother's day at the kids in Duluth. Took the fishing boat/trailer up in the morning. Brought back our utility trailer in the evening so we can start emptying out the garage and house. 37 years of stuff. Did find my Philmont Scout Ranch belt and buckle from 20 years ago. Gee, wonder what else will be found.

Loosh - Keep us posted. You're gonna need to ditch those light truck tires soon. :-)

Assuming, of course, that the wax job include the rims...
