Only shopping for one person. It's their first lease. And he has no idea what he wants except that it must be 4x4/AWD. My last lease I wanted to go from a 2015 Ford fusion to a 4x4/AWD vehicle. And went to a dealer looking at SUVs thinking a pickup was out of the question. Needless to say I have a 2018 Ram 1500 because it was less per month than any SUV I looked at. lol Just want him to have the same edge I did when shopping.

The Rogue residuals are pretty weak. Given the lease program, that may be the best you can do, but that is a hefty payment.

I have been busy, but I just wanted to follow up on my experience with leasing a 2020 Nissan Rogue AWD SV. I was able to get a zero down, 36 mo, 12,000mile/year lease for $289/mo taxes included. This was at the end of May, so the incentives may have since changed. Thank You for helping me with the numbers.

And a local dealer quoted me the below:
He quoted the same RV/MV Factor with 500 more incentives in either model.
Rogue Sports: MSRP: 26310; negotiated selling price: 24710 => 2K at sign/230 per month
Rogue: MSRP: 28370; negotiated selling price: 26670 => 2K at sign/244 per month

I used the calculator on this forum with 400 fees and 600 acquisition fees at 9% sales tax (correct me if I calculated wrong) and arrive about the same numbers.

I wonder if there is any room to negotiate down. If my credit is perfect, can my MV be negotiated lower? Other than that, what would be the lowest possible I can shoot for?

My car's lease is going to expire this month. The local dealers told me that current Nissan leasing deals are much worse than 3 years ago, as they significantly decreased RV factors. For example, for my current Rogue, I paid 2000 at signing and 200 per month ($44 per month less than dealer's new quote).

I am not sure what other options would be if the new leasing is not favorable… check nearby state whose RV may be better? Return Rogue and go for a different manufacturer? Keep renewing my current lease until the RV factor improves. How many more months can I keep renewing?

Thanks for sharing. Zero down meaning nothing paid at signing or you still have pay certain fees upfront?

Your quotes are reasonable.
But, you should always offer less.

The money factor given is the absolute lowest, with top tier credit

Hello, First I would like to thank you. I feel so much more knowledgeable now that I can come here for the info before negotiating with the dealer. I am returning to Nissan after my lease is ending. My intention is to lease a 20 Nissan Rogue S FWD CVT with Xtronic 2.5L in 08035 with $12,000 a year and $0 due at signing. My credit is an 803, so we should qualify for the top tier credit. Can you please give me the residual and money factor. I am being told the car price is $27020 sticker with the base price being slightly over $20K. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
