@SilverKing813 Lacking many other details, I could only get to $1500s/mo was by rolling all the consumer incentives into the discount and maxing out the mark up on the money factor... I think this offer is basically robbing you.

Here's where the dealer is making money:
Car Sale (Sale Price minus Invoice): $5,850 BMW-to-Dealer Incentive: $2,500 Money Factor Mark up: $2,400 Doc Fee (Florida?): $600 (?) Total: ~$11,350
Eventually, dealer has to make money. My observation is if they make a total of ~$2,000-2,500 they are happy.

What would your counter offer be?
I don't like haggling too much. Cost of this car to the dealer is $90,250. I would offer $2,000-$2,500 more (less doc fee. it's pure profit). Also, insist on the base money factor. From there, if they don't take it, engage other dealers. You might need to wait a week or so for them to get back but right now I feel like you'd be leaving a ton of money on the table.
Obviously, if you really like the car and it is something unique, you maybe willing to pay more.

I believe there is because of what's below. I got my car (not an X6 but same program) last week.
Dealer Allowance: $2,500 Cash Back On Select BMW Models
Manufacturer Offers
$2,500 cash back
Offer only valid 12/01/2020 through 1/04/2021 Applies to select new 2021 BMW X6. See Trims
Disclaimer(s): Cash only available on vehicles with 1,000 or fewer odometer miles. Dealer Contribution cashback may not be available in all areas, to all consumers, or to all dealers. Dealers who participate may not be able to contribute the entire cashback amount. See dealer for details.

deal on a 2021 X6 sdrive40i 36/10 MF on 696 credit score zip 92805
they offered me 1500 off for lease credit and loyalty plus 2k off price
76045 msrp 72454 with discounts
2k drive off
payment they gave me was $1117
they did not show me the MF
does this make sense or are they padding MF
.00082 and 55% $500 lease credit
Those prices give me $945/mo, plus tax.
Tier 2 adds .00010 to the MF; dealer can mark that up .00040
If I use .00132 as the MF, payment goes to $1002/mo, plus tax.
Still a bit of a stretch to get to $1117/mo, even with 9% tax
Ask the dealer for the adjusted cap cost used for that quote, and what's been added to the selling price to get that number. Possible that the $2K won't cover all the drive off costs (first payment, $925 acquisition fee, DMV costs, etc.).
i just used leashhckr calculator with 55% and the .00132 MF and 2K drive off with the fees right as the registration is prolly 780 and 7.75 % tax but i am getting 500 credit plus 1k loyalty plus 2k off the price then 2k drive off, it comes to about the same $1111 payment, so they are padding .0004, do i tell them i see your padding and i dont want that, whats the best way to get rid of the pad

My opinion: You have a couple of things going on. (1) Insist on the "Buy Rate" for the money factor. The mark up is ~$50/mo --> $1,800 profit to the dealership as it is. (2) The invoice on this car is $69,728. You should be able to negotiate the sale price more than $2,000 off MSRP before consumer incentives. Call a couple of other dealerships and get quotes for a similar (or factory order) car.

so event at tier 2 which is not much of an increase , they are def padding MF and my taxes are 7.75

i just want proof they are [non-permissible content removed] me, i said ill buy right now if u can have the payment at 1k, but i now it was gona be slightly higher not by much with taxes
Another idea might be to factory order to your spec. Even adding ~$1,000 shipping cost from an east coast dealer can save you some $$. I factory ordered an X3 in Oct, and got 9% off MSRP plus all incentives (and the inventories were severely depleted back then). I know that my CA ships cars to Seattle.
i just want proof they are [non-permissible content removed] me, i said ill buy right now if u can have the payment at 1k, but i now it was gona be slightly higher not by much with taxes
The problem is that the supply/demand equation is favoring the dealers, right now.
If this is the car you want, you may have to suck it up and pay the dealer price.
I work for a dealer. I can assure you we do all kind of deals that the general public wouldnt believe. I've sold 80k trucks for a 1500 profit. Unfortunately the dealers work with all kinds of conditional backend money that is impossible to actually account for, so it is impossible to get a true cost
Is $1749 the total amount Due at Signing from you? If so, it's a reasonable deal, considering the lease program, and MD sales taxes. The payment calculation is correct.
