    My little red car was a 1989 Seat Marbella - Seat made a version of the Fiat Panda when Fiat introduced it in 1981 as the Seat Panda, but only sold it in Spain and a couple of other countries.
    When Seat parted company with Fiat in 1989 they introduced the Seat Marbella which was different from the contemporary Fiat Panda and they sold it right across Europe including into Italy - prior to this Seat never sold cars in FIat's home market.
    This is one of those Marbellas registered in Italy.
    They also sold them in UK until about 1992 in competition with Fiat Pandas

    I low-key like those Challengers, reasonably sized malaise era Japanese hardtop, probably reliable but prone to rot in the right climate.

    I remember that car (or a Sapporo) being the "Jiffy Pop Airbag" car in a SNL commercial parody:

    Funny how wagons went full circle - originally were kind of a thing for the affluent, then became mainstream, then were seen as lame and boring, now they primarily exist in highline models again.

    Pontiac Solstice. I don't know nearly enough about them to zero in on the year (IIRC, this was 2006-2009..?) or whether it was a performance (GXP) version.

    I was thinking the red brake caliper might have meant it was the GXP, but that was probably aftermarket.

    The Solstice and the Sky were released when we were in our Saturn phase, so it was probably the best chance I would have had to get something fun and sporty....

    ....until I sat in it. I'm only 5'11", but my eyes were looking straight at the top of the windshield frame. So very bummed....

    I had that problem with my Miata. when the top was down (pretty much the only way I ever drove it) I found it easier to look over the windshield header than through the windshield! though I will say, headroom was never an issue (even with the top up). I was just way short of foot and leg room.

    The 63 Caddy looks narrower and leaner than the 59 Caddy and 63 Lincoln. Perhaps the angle in which it is parked gives that illusion?

    Yes, its an Alvis TD21 - registration on this one is 1959 and from Leicestershire - great car but not sold abroad very much.

    I was quite pleased to see the K70 - we hardly had those here as they never caught on when they went on sale really.
    I think the other white car is an Opel Rekord - the red and black one is a Commodore

    Due to the lockdown I haven't been to a car show for a long time, but found this picture of a show at Tatton Park, Cheshire which is just south of Manchester.
    I've never been to it myself but its one of the biggest in the North West and seems to have a wide range of cars judging by this photo - which should expand

    Great pic, what a variety - must be a fun event to attend.

    In the mix, left middle row, I see a gold Renault Caravelle and a white Alpine, far back in the right middle row I spot a DKW 1000 sedan next to a Volvo P1800ES, lower right row light grey pickup perhaps a Hillman-based Commer.

    Yes, I've never been up to Tatton Park but it is one of the best in the North so they say.
    This is just a sample I think as they get a couple of thousand cars some years.

    That pickup isn't a Commer (like the Matchbox one?) but a Vauxhall E series Velox Ute from Australia - several of them have been re imported from the colonies over the years although the model wasn't sold here originally and I think the bodywork was actually done by Holden.
    I've found what looks like the same car on another picture on Flickr and it was imported in 2013

    There are actually two more of those Vauxhalls next to that white Renault Alpine - a turquoise Velox and a metallic green/grey Cresta
    There are even some prewar cars too - that huge Laundaulet between the maroon Triumph Renown and the blue Vauxhall HB Viva is - I think - an Austin from about 1930 but it could be anything really at that distance
    That blue coupe two down from @andys120 MGA FHC is I think an Ashley Sportiva kit car (blue) and there is even an Austin A99 Westminster in the same row.

    This could actually be that Sportiva judging by the colour

    There is a car show in Bromley south London usually in about May in normal times, and that is huge - they get a couple of thousand cars and have loads of one make areas for MG / Triumph / Jag etc but when I've been there the main appeal is all the odd cars that emerge in the general area - anything from what you would call brass era cars to modern ones - I have seen some really rare cars there some years.
