    I've used the version meant for rocks and patio pavers and concrete on the sidewalk. It really took away the black years of stain even after I had power washed it with my cheapie little HD $88 washer that I'm ready to junk.

    The roof stuff I used in the spray. I need a little more pressure to reach up well, but it did lighten the black mildew stain that was starting on the north side of the roof. Now a year later there's one region I need to retreat when I want to stand on a 6 foot step ladder and risk my life.

    You should know by now that’s the way it works.

    I have a 16 foot tool bench along the back wall of my garage and the same footage of peg board above it. The last time I looked at the peg board it has as many open hooks as tools hanging. The sad thing is I can’t remember what some of the empty hooks are for even if I get the tool back. With all those empty hooks some folks might call that down-sizing but I call it theft. :#

    at a certain age it is just getting the inheriting phase out of the way early.

    He was actually going to use the washer. I knew I would not need it soon, but I can get it when needed.

    Oh...that last one is a "no question" lemon law filing. That one wouldn't take that long, either. Case would be set up and the mediator would take one look at how long it had been in the shop awaiting parts, and it would be a slam dunk. I can't even fathom what kind of dollar amount the arbitrator would add on top of ordering an immediate buyback.

    ANSWER: No, Canada does not currently have a federal lemon law. The closest existing consumer protection is the Canadian Motor Vehicle Arbitration Plan (CAMVAP), which provides arbitration between consumers and manufacturers to resolve disputes over defects.

    You have to file mountains of papers in order for them to consider whether your car was defective. But, it sounds like the guy wanted his car back, he also wanted compensation for any gas he had used, he had a stack of receipts....good luck with that.
    I wonder if the warranty is over when he gets his car back after over one year.
    Sounds similar to the Better Business Bureau here in the U.S. They act as the mediator between, at least, General Motors and the consumer. Their arbitration is binding for GM but not for the consumer. The consumer can either accept the BBB's arbitration decision, or reject it and pursue legal remedies.
    BBB doesn't act on the consumers behalf, they collect fees from the manufacturer. Probably a waste of time. In the case of this Hyundai owner, he could go to court I suppose but it will cost more than the car is worth. Hyundai Canada leaves him hanging, he has to hope the dealer comes through. I think Hyundai makes good cars these days, the dealers I wouldn't trust after the experience I had taking my brother's car in for cash.
    True. BBB is "hired" by the manufacturers. But, they are independent when it comes to mediation (allegedly). When I went through my Cadillac buy back, I recall walking out to my car so the arbitrator could inspect it before writing up his decision on whether GM had to buy back the car. It was the arbitrator, a BBB administrator (who took notes during the hearing) the GM Regional Manager, a GM lawyer and me. The GM people were making friendly small talk, joking around with me as we walked to the parking lot. Finally, as the BBB Admin and I got caught at a crosswalk while the others went on ahead to the parking lot, the admin casually mentioned to me to remember the GM people are going to present me in a poor light, as they do to everyone who says GM sold them a lemon, when the hearing began back at the BBB offices.

    I kept my distance and resisted talking to them unless asked a direct question the rest of the procedures.
    At least the rules are pretty clear regarding Lemon laws. Your Cadillac definitely qualified for a buy back...in fact, if that car wasn't a lemon I don't know what would be. It was pretty clear that the BBB had to make GM take that car back. The guy in Canada who has waited for over a year for his EV to be repaired should never happen.......every jurisdiction should have a Lemon Law.

    Amazon has been excellent on taking returns from my own purchases occasionally
    AND taking many returns from my wife's purchases. Clothing is big now that she boycotts

    Most are a QR code and take item to local UPS (1/2 mi) and they put it in a plastic bag

    Oh, I had just returned two junk Chinese filters that I ordered for the cabins and ordered the
    AC Delco I should have just ordered at more than double the price. The first ones were like
    getting a 100K mi Yugo when expecting a Buick base model. Now I purchased the MB of
    filter which is multilayer. The other AC Delco filters have fiberglass base and are stiffer. Have to read the rockauto.com descriptions carefully to figure that out.


    I try not to return too much but it is probably easier to return something to amazon than it is to return something to a store. For things like printer cartridges or car parts, food, drugs, things like that I want either a name brand or something that has 4.5 stars or more, and lots of happy customers.

    I have the same one as well. The only area it doesn't do a great job on is the driveway, which needs higher pressure, so I just pay someone to do that.

    Couple ramblings …

    The EV that has been in the shop for a year is also the fault of the dealer. They should have stepped up and made the customer whole.

    Amazon generics: I buy all kinds of off brand stuff from Amazon. The vast majority of it works great. Some things I prefer to the name brand.

    Cybertruck - yeah I’ll never get it.

    Pressure washer… mine died need to replace it my white vinyl fence looks dirty at the bottom and needs it bad.

    I reread the label on the one for masonry and sidewalks. I wouldn't trust it on furniture. It works slowly over weeks killing the mold and stuff, then it rinses away. I note on two types of wood decks, cedar and redwood, it says to brush it a month after use.

    Originally the first version was for north sides of houses where mold/mildew stain the siding. But it can take up to a month to work.

    I'm going to treat the rough limestone rocks were have forming a wall around a low bed in front. They have darkened with crude over the decade they've been there.

    Hoovie dumped his a while back for a used Cadillac Lyriq, receiving a bit over MSRP on trade, IIRC, and leaving them room to make a little profit by selling at or near the market's prevailing price at the time. They didn't go that route, and marked it up far beyond what others were selling for. He recently posted a video showing that, despite repeated price cuts, the CT was still on the dealer's lot. I think he could now buy it back from them for less than they gave him in trade credit.

    I agree about amazon and the tesla trucks being ugly but Hyundai Canada said it was up to the dealer to fix. But the battery took a long time to arrive...parts are not abundant for any cars and EVs seem to be even harder to get. But when the dealer didn't fix the problem the Hyundai Canada should have fixed it or put pressure on the dealer to fix it.

I’m pretty sure the Steelers haven’t won a playoff game in their last 7 appearances, yet the head coach seems to have a lifetime job for as long as he wants it.     Many/most full size trucks weigh over 5,000 lbs, and have a higher center of gravity, which could cause them to override a guardrail, especially if lifted.

    Most of the seriously damaged guardrails I’ve seen had to be done by trucks. Some are pretty mangled and almost ripped loose from the ground for quite a few feet. Most cars couldn’t do that.

    That wasn't a very good link. There was a story on the news also.

    That is something that will have to be taken into consideration when designing new guardrail systems and attenuators. Although the number of EV's may be a small portion of the overall vehicles on the road now, it is going to increase.

    Large trucks and busses are considered. Results are less than desired, but they are a small number overall. They account for around 5% of all vehicles.

    Parking garages will have to be designed for heavier vehicles too.

    Having spent many hours in a vehicle sandwiched between massive semis on routes like Interstate 40 and the Pennsylvania Turnpike, I think those monsters are the main threat to guardrails everywhere.

    Barriers are made to withstand a 5000 pound car.
    Smaller Tesla's weigh about 4500 pounds plus passengers.
    The Model X Long Range weighs 5,185 pounds, while the Plaid version weighs 5,390 pounds.

    It's only silly if you don't understand. Vehicles have been getting heavier every year. The EV's are just increasing it faster than anticipated, I would guess. You can't design for today.

    I'm hoping the solid-state batteries, or something other than what we have now, is the solution.

    It seems tire wear is much worse on these heavy vehicles. They take special tires and are not cheap.

    Speed has more impact than weight in the equation for kinetic energy.
