It looks like a decent deal. If you aren't in a hurry, there is no harm in waiting.

Went to other dealer with same MSRP and this explorer has navigation. They give me 2 years free maintenance. What price you think is a good offer? $409 is with taxes included.
Also got a quote for Fusion 2014 SE sunroof,navigation,leather for $300 taxes included. $900 due at sign. Thx

24/12 residual for 2015 Explorer Sport is 65%; for 36/12, it is 56%.

just got a 2015 ford explorer sport last week and they gave me the 1500 on a lease plus 1000 conquest and 1000 black friday.

Though it was 1250 for the lease but i wans't going to complain.

Ended up with a 499 month on a 36 month 12000 mile lease

1200 down dmv first payment and some cap cost reduction.

Think it worked out ok

Happy with the deal

One other quick question. Is the rate still .7 (.0003 MF) and the residual 56% on the 2015 Sport for 3/36,000 in NJ or did it change for December? I thought they were good through December.

Dealer now gave me a quote and he has payments at $540 but when I do the math with 56% and .0003 I get much closer to $500.

Want to see if he's playing with the rate or residual (a Jeep dealer did that on me 3 years ago).

I confirm the 36 month MF at .75% (.00031) and 56% residual.

It's possible the dealer is inflating the MF on you .. also check to see if they are adding any fees, etc. into the cap cost.

are you sure your calculating right are you adding in the finance fee of 625 or 645 cant remeber.
i was not adding that to my numbers and it was throwing me off.

Also believe many dealers in nj add high document fees as opposed to ny 75.

Not sure if it helps but i remember Dana ford having a few with the bucket seats in the second row. They refused to do any pricing on the phone and i didn't want to pay the 15 dollar toll to staten island and after getting the above deal i decided to just get the truck in brooklyn.

Not sure where you are in NJ but may be worth the trip for you.

Interesting that one dealer tried to tell me the rate was 2.62% on the Sport which I think is a total jack job by the dealer. Results in the payment being substantially higher by around $60.

Dealers are allowed to mark up the MF for extra profit. And, they don't have to use Ford Credit - we don't have access to those numbers for verification, however.

Finally got around to start negotiating leases. First offer came in and on the lease sheet they pulled the same old stunts - $399 for window etching. Hahaha.

But they also had $230 for what looks like a Warranty Premium. What the heck is that? Why would I need an extended warranty for a car I am leasing for 3 years, 36000 miles?

Had put the car search on hold due to work commitments. Now looking around again. Ford seems to be running a 36 and 39 month lease deal. What's the MF and residual on a 2015 Limited and 2015 Sport with 12K per year for 36 and 39 months. Thanks. New Jersey.

Limited - same MF as above, 52% for 36/12, 50% for 39/12

MF is .75% for 36 months and 1.00% for 39 months. $1750 lease cash

Limited - 53% for 36/10

XLT - 55% for 36/10

Subtract 2% for 39 months

Sorry for the dumb question, but I am using a leasing calculator and need help imputing the numbers. If the MF is .75% for 36 months and 1.00% for 39 months, how do I input that into the calculator if it is only allowing decimals. Also, does anyone have a good site for a lease calculator?

Divide the percentage by 2400 to get the decimal value to use in a lease calculator.

There are many good lease calculators; I built my own in a spreadsheet - nothing more complicated than 5th grade math involved.

It's hard to tell from here which incentives are compatible.. you'd have to ask the dealer.

I'll assume 4WD as you are in NJ ... 36/15 residual is 50%, 39/15 is 48%.

The Ford numbers are valid through 3/31/15.
