Do you know if these numbers will be good for February? I am looking at a Sonata Sport 2.4 with premium package, 36/10k. I am in the Philadelphia area.

Current Hyundai program numbers expire today. If we're lucky, we'll see new numbers later this week.

I am a new to leasing a car and read many of the lease posts. Need guidance from here, if Hyundai offers a leasing program should i negotiate my best purchase price for the lease monthly payment or take up the incentive offer?

New to leasing as well and trying to get some advice. Interested in leasing a 2015 or 2016 Sonata Eco. How do these numbers work (residual, mf...) and how do I know if I'm getting a good deal?

Negotiate your best price. The "incentive offer" isn't really an offer. It's an advertisement from Hyundai. The dealer is under no obligation to meet those terms. On the other hand, why limit yourself, if you can possibly negotiate a better deal?

I'm looking to trade in my lease early, from a accent to sonata. Looking at these numbers, it looks like the cap cost reduction is me paying the remaining payments for my current lease?

this is for a 2015 Sonata sport. Monthly payment of 299 for 48months 15k miles

    MSRP 25970.00
    Selling Price 23997.00
    Rebate 4000.00
    Doc Fee 699.00
    Taxes 120.00
    Gross cap cost 28511.00
    Cap Cost Reduction 4000.00
    Adjusted cap cost Reduction 24511.00

that's a horrible deal on a 2015 model - run away (from that dealer); what is up with a 699 doc fee on a leftover model?

It's almost never financially smart to terminate a lease early; sorry but that is a fact!

Is it only a terrible deal because i'm trying to get out early to get to a bigger car? I think the cap cost reduction is 4k added from my current lease. Are doc fee's negotiable?

Edit: Looks like average docfee for NC is about $550

doc fees are negotiable; some states set limits to avoid gouging - NC does not:
    http://www.edmunds.com/car-buying/what-fees-should-you-pay.html#chart

i didn't know HMF did 48 month leases; it is a HMF lease and not a bank lease?

you may be better off buying instead of leasing...

for now, here's my 2 cents:
the selling price is too high (you should be able to get 10% off msrp
the doc fee is too high - make them waive it

if you provide the rest of the details: residual, mf, negative equity (lease payoff), we can calculate a payment.
    i'll try to help you...

Thanks for your help, i'm going in a few hours to take a closer look at the vehicle. I have about $4k in payments left or roughly $3000 in negative equity (Payoff is 12,493.04 and i'm told it's worth about $9500, from another dealer). The guy said that the $4000 in cap reduction isn't added it's subtracted, guess i'm just confused on some of the terminology even though i've read up on them, lol. I'm requesting MF and Residual now, will have soon hopefully. Thanks.
He said he could probably get payment down to $270 but with 12k miles instead of 15k. I thought $2000-$2500 off MSRP for a sonata was good, but guess not? It was my understanding that the 48 month lease would be through HF, I'm not thrilled about 48 month but I want a lower payment, I typically like the lease because of lower payments having a warranty. Thanks again

Now i'm confused. How far into your current lease are you? Seems like you have several months remaining if it's 4k. i hope you are not in a hurry to do this; i don't like the terms so far (but it is your money). Since the car you are buying is a 2015 leftover (how many miles on it), they should be more willing to lower the price.

I think I'm gonna ride my lease out longer so I won't have negative equity, that seems like the best financial decision :) after my accent lease is up... Either go sonata or Tuscan

Any idea what kind of incentives are being offered for current customers that lease a Sonata? Also, they are offering "Spring cash". Can this be combined with lease cash?

The money factor is pretty good on the Limited 2.0T. The question is, how much are dealers willing to discount a loaded 2015 Sonata.

So, how confident would you be that Hyundai will continue to honor the leasing plans for the Sonata through the following month? I signed up for the Hyundai Boost Up incentive but still have about 3 weeks before I reach the 30 day minimum to use it (Hyundai will match up to 500 dollars for a downpayment). Is it worth to risk to gain 500 more in incentives? It looks like many of the other manufacturers have stopped leasing on the 2015 models.

No idea if / when Hyundai will stop supporting leases on the 2015. Could be next month, could be later this year.

We won't get any notice - and neither will the dealer.

Just a heads up, it looks like Hyundai has increased their "Spring sale cash" from 500 to 1000 for the last two weeks of March. I plan on going this weekend to try to negotiate a 2015 Sonata.

What is the adjusted cap cost?

Lease term and miles per year?

We do not recommend using the trade equity as cap cost reduction .. have the dealer cut you a check for that amount. The money would be lost if the car was stolen or totaled.
