spent $585.00 on paint sealant (exterior) and undercoating, I hope it's worth it. I bought the car from JimColeman Honda in Maryland.
Overall good job. You should of passed on the paint sealant / undercoating..... all dealer profit.
All vehicles after being painted have a clear coat finish baked on top of paint to protect it from sun/ rain and bad elements. Same with the under coating not needed. . Future new car purchases pass on these 2 ......................................... not needed . A couple of layers of wax will do just fine on your vehicle for a fraction of the cost every year.
Good luck enjoy your new ride

Got OTD(includes everything) for $25800 and 0.9APR/60mos
Looks like a good deal. This is in VA.
2nd deal 1820 below excluding your 1k incentives.
Don't forget you have high doc fee charges in your state. Minus them off your below invoice price that is the true buying price.
Wait till the end of the month to buy. You want to try and recoup each dealerships high doc fee charge.
Good luck

Anybody think this is reasonable in the atlanta market?

They have only one color available with 90 miles on it which is ok but there is another dealer who has the desired color. The second dealer so far has only provided the Selling price of $28866 and not the OTD price. Also second dealers car has 250 miles on it.
Above pricing was provided without any sort of haggling right after the test drive. I am thinking about asking for OTD pricing of $30k. or ask for the above pricing for 2015 model with desired color. Do you think that will be unrealistic?
The 2014 model with 90 miles is being discounted 2714 below dealers invoice. Absolutely try for a few more dollars and some dealership freebie's like.... Free oil changes, pin stripping , all season mats, cargo tray, etc..
Your offer of 30k will be rejected that's another 1700 off your already 2714 below price.. 300 to 500 dollars more would be a homerun. I would see if you could buy a 2015 model your choice color for 1k to 1500 below. This target price might be possible in CA at months end.
On the 2nd deal vehicle with 250 miles I would email that dealers internet mgr. and tell him/ her you will buy said model for 3k or more below dealers invoice and hold vehicle with a credit card deposit. If dealership agrees have them give you the total OTD pricing . You could have this dealer fax you over the buyers order and complete the sale via email / fax. Let dealer 2 know that at xx dealership you will buy there 2014 model for the same price but you want the color they have. Tell dealer 2 beat xx Honda's price I buy right NOW................Play the Game .......... Like a good game of poker..
Never tip your hand till the very end of this month. Make the dealers blink first.. You have the most buying leverage this week coming up.
keep me posted

That 24,786 number is a 2k below invoice on the 2015 model exl. Re-check those numbers with dealership. dealer may have low balled you / quoted you A 2014 MODEL trying to trick you.

the quote is for a 2015 exl ...quote has included destination and exterior/interior sealant included.
Also got another quote from another dealer for around 24400 with destinations and exterior interior sealant...again it is for 2015 exl
Looks liker there dropping even more. Should I wait or go ahead...maybe gets some all season mats trunk tray and couple of oil changes.
Thanks
Yes I understand that is your otd price...just wanted an idea of the price pretax and fees as different states have different sales tax etc....
So if you could what is the price of the car with destination only.
Can someone post the MF and RV for a 2015 Accord Coupe EX 4-cy, 3 year 15k miles per? Any lease incentives? Finally, can anyone recommend a $tealership in the North Jersey area? Thanks!
So if you could what is the price of the car with destination only.
PH2,
which dealership sent you that deal? can you forward it to me?
Thanks
V Pham
that quote is from mohauwk I was just trying to figure out the specifics of the deal he got
The dealership is notoriously difficult to deal with
I've below offer on 2015 accord sport (CVT) in Cinncinnati OH:
Dealer price (includes destination): $20,990
Doc fee: $250
Title tags: $33.50
Tax: 6.75%
Total OTD: $22,700
Is this a good offer? Should I negotiate for few more bills off?
Thank you in advance!
Want to know whether this is a good deal or not...
This is a excellent quote and deal if you could get it. Your at 1900 below dealers invoice price minus the dealers doc fee charge. Plus dealer is throwing in remote start.

Did this dealership add heated seats and a sunroof to this model. Both are not standard items on this model?
Next question do you want these items in the sport model?

Yes................. wait till the last 2 days. last day this month to re- start your negotiations. This time call the internet manager on the phone and negotiate with him/ her letting dealership know you are willing to buy said vehicle that day if you both could agree on a better price.

As you read prior postings this past week our members in MA, MD, VA, CA, are getting close to 2k below dealers invoice price on the 2015 model. Not sure what you may be able to get in the Dallas area but a $1150 to 2000 below dealers invoice price should be your target price to buy assuming your area's doc fees are only 150 dollars.
There is a 500 dealer cash incentive on all 2015 models . Dealer-holdback on your model is 2% of the base MSRP. Figure another $500 plus. Then add on dealers doc fee charge in your area. Make what ever that Number is ........ Your low end Target price to buy. Use your higher target price to buy (1800 /2k below ) when emailing/ calling on the 27th then work down from that number if you need to.
Remember on the 27th when send out those emails/ calls be firm letting each dealership know.. I buy today for xxx price. Do not jump at the 1st counter offer. Go down your list of targeted dealerships and make them sweat . Let them chase you. Play the game. you still have 4 good days left before months end.. You want to find those dealerships still looking for end of the month / last quarter sales numbers. That's where you may hit the price jackpot. Some car dealerships may have till Jan, 2nd or 3rd before closing out there 2014 calendar year sales. Not sure if that's true with Honda
Key Negotiation words in your emails/ calls should all state the same thing. This kind of wording is direct and puts you in charge of the negotiations. Make sure you use some of these in your talks. If you lose some dealers doing this so be it................... They were not giving you a better price and probably going to wasting your time. .
I use these saying like a broken record when I talk to the internet managers. Putting the fear of @brian125 into them . ..................... Hope this helps some of you. It always helps me.
I'm looking to buy x model , color, with or without these accessories. (only if you want added accessories.) nothing else. My price of xxx includes the destination fee and excludes taxes and tags. Your dealers doc fee charge of xxx were taken into consideration of my price. I will buy this vehicle from your dealership today holding sale with a credit card deposit till I could get down to your store.
See how I went from asking for there best price to letting dealer know I'm a educated buyer and I wont let them play games with me. I put this manager and every manager on the spot. just like this. If this manager lies to me or is not honest about wanting this sale YOU will hear a dial tone from my end. probably after I tell him/ her off . Onto the next dealer... My targeted dealership list is long and life is short.. I don't have time for games. This is my world it works........ TRY IT. Your leverage is your buying that moment no time for game playing. Honest dealers compete for your business / Dishonest dealers get eaten up.
I respect the dealer who says Brian I could do xx price and nothing lower. Take it or leave it. This is a dealer who may get my business at the end of the day if there in the ballpark. This process helps you find the best pricing within hundreds of miles possibly scanning pricing from 2 or 3 boarding states. Negotiating with dealerships by Emails and direct phone calls to the Internet managers will cut down on your time , dealer lies and BS. Buying a car this way helps you secure a good price before stepping into the dealership.
Use these key words it helps move the deal.
I buy immediately if we agree today holding with CREDIT CARD DEPOSIT. Do you want the sale right Now...... . Yes ...... No....... why....... what's your best price?........ goodbye
Will you fax me over the buyers order ? I will buy it right now holding with a credit card.
I'm shopping for the best price and the 1st dealer to meet my price I will buy today.
I have contacted/ emailed 25 dealerships but want to buy from your dealership. ( lol )
I will be buying by the end of this month unless my price is meet TODAY .
Does your dealership want the sale today.?
I can travel further away for my price but want to buy local. Do you want the sale.? Do you really want to lose this sale to Joe's Honda etc. Always name other dealerships. This puts the pressure on them. If you don't push these guys they will treat you like every un-educated buyer. Beat them at there own game. It works trust me
Dealers in other area's are at xx price you need to up your pricing or you will lose my business. I'm buying buy Dec,31st. Do you want the sale today?
I would rather buy from your dealership then traveling xx miles to buy.
I would like to buy from my home dealership then give my business to xx dealership.. Then name another dealership or two .
Do you want the sale today. key wording like this puts you in charge of the negotiations and gives you the upper hand and leverage in pricing. Make each dealer commit to a price if they are not meeting your price. If a dealer cant give you his best price that moment move on. Remember you just told dealer your buying that moment.
Always be direct and let each dealerships internet manager or his team know... You all sell the same product whether I buy 10 miles or 100 miles from my house does not matter. I could service this car under warranty at any Honda dealership.
Have fun .....................good luck ........Merry X-mas to all

If you can lower the sale price of the vehicle by negotiating with your targeted dealerships this will bring down your monthly costs.
23 Telluride SX-P X-Line, 23 Camry XSE
Here is how I would go about leasing a vehicle. Still use the same approach with calling and emailing dealerships. This email below is sent directly to the internet manager or his team. I prefer to talk with each dealer one on one. But emailing is a great way to start up negotiations and get very good pricing. At some point if your only sending out emails you may have to call to the selling dealer to close your deal/ finalize a sale price. . Use my helpful Negotiation tactic's to close your deal.
Send a similar email out to 20 dealerships. You may want to put it in better English format than me . I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed when it comes to report writing.
I'm looking to lease a 2015 model, Accord color, with no other added accessories for 3yrs/ 36k with all fee's rolled into the lease. I will lease this vehicle from your dealership today for xx below dealers invoice price this fee has the 820 destination fee included into the price.
Once you and dealer agree on a vehicle sale price have them run the leasing numbers and all the OTD numbers totaling a monthly payment for the 3yrs. Check dealers lease numbers with numbers provide from @kyfdx. I think I have covered most of the important lease stuff.
If I missed something hopefully someone could chime in OR add to my post.

To Joe's Honda
I'm going to lease a 2015 model accord like above email states from Mikes Honda. I would prefer to buy closer to my house and give you my business. Will your dealership beat/ meet this offer of 1800 below dealers invoice price and 260 a month. All fee's were rolled into this number.
Pit one dealer against the next. There is no show me( dealer) the email from other dealers on your part or need it in writing. Tell dealers I'm offering your dealership the chance to earn my business Today . Do you want this sale Yes or NO ? Otherwise I will lease at MIKES HONDA. If this dealer has good selling numbers and is not pushing for more sales at a lower price they will let you walk. In that case ................................ you did the best you could at that dealership move on.
23 Telluride SX-P X-Line, 23 Camry XSE
Most dealers in your area won't give you anything in writing fearing you will shop that price around town . If you read my posts....... I don't ask dealers to give me There idea of a best price.............. I tell dealerships what I want to pay on that day which is usually the last 2 days, last day of any month or at quarters end. I never buy vehicles the first 3 weeks of any month. NEVER. I been doing this for 45 years. I'm a expert Negotiator so I'm already 5 steps ahead of any of these sales guys. I could probably tell you within 3 mins. of any phone conversation if that dealers Internet manager, or sales manager is going to make a play for me or not.
Buying a new car should not be drawn out getting pricing or answers. Unless YOU LET THEM . Negotiate Firm, be direct, know your pricing let dealers know you are a Educated buyer and they have one chance to earn your business. So whether your calling dealerships via phone like me , emails or if you walk in and out of dealerships this all applies to you. Educate yourself and be ready.
Your 1st, 3 weeks is best spent getting a outside pre approved loan, Ins. info on certain vehicles, going to dealerships for Test drives, Collecting vehicle and dealer info , ( doc fee charges, names, numbers, and emails of the internet mgr., etc. ) incentives and dealer finance rates. . I like to make a big spread sheet with every targeted dealers Int/ mgr. number, email and what that dealers doc fee charge is. I make notes if there are certain cars on there lot I may want to buy the following week. . On the last days I'm armed ready and Dangerous.. You should be to.
What I will tell you is if you have something in writing and you feel you could get another dealer to match/ beat then by all means go for it. I speak directly to each dealers manager One on One. No games, No bs, lets talk car deal/ pricing or your history. Most of these dealers know that if I cant get my target price and we are close in price I may come back to them for a second round of talks.. The majority of times I hit my mark.
If I target 40 dealerships more than half get wacked off my list cause they are dishonest/ lying or think I'm the average Joe who they try to HERB.. Dealerships that are not Internet friendly get wacked off my list to. Come on we are not in the 90's anymore. Dealers that sell a lot of vehicles have good internet depts. and know how to work deals online. Meaning competent sales people that know pricing. High volume dealerships do this well.
@951camry here is a good tip for you getting email quotes
Email / call dealerships 100 or more miles from your house. Tell each dealerships Internet manager or dept. going into the last week of any month that for xx price you will consider buying said vehicle from them if no dealer closer to you will match this price. You leave 100 plus miles away and may be willing to take the drive. Ask each manager if they want the sale . Work your best deal further away then try to get those prices closer to home . Or just buy it further away. Alot of out of state dealers will try to earn your business. This works well in area's where yours is not selling that low and other area's/ states are selling cheaper. This must be done the last week and buying right at the end of the month.
You will find dealers further away sending you a email price cause they know dealers by you are many miles away and they will look to take the out of town business away from your area dealers. High volume dealerships especially they sell cars.
