I walked out since I kept getting revisionist recollections from the salesman about stuff we just discussed.  Bottom line is he didn't understand leasing very well and it was frustrating.

So I had to fight, twist arms and overall get up on a couple of occasions just to get them to get to the MF of. 00003

They claimed poverty and swore they weren't overselling the rate and they were selling at a loss. I hate this BS. I walked out just because I was so frustrated I didn't want to make a decision after 2 hours of nonsensical banter. 

I will try to attach a jpg of the their calcs which I was able to capture. 

What happened to salesmen having any authority? Every 5 seconds he had to get up to get approval, ask a question, etc. of the finance manager. He wasn't a spring chicken either, he's been doing it awhile. They don't even have any software at their desk to run quotes. Not sure what his PC is for.

Okay... I can understand most of the numbers, except on the far right column..
$1238.50 upfront charges? $595 for acquisition and $399 for doc fee.. but, can't account for the other $240 or so.. Maybe title/registration fees that aren't listed on the document?

The discount is $2280 from MSRP which is just okay, considering the $1425 of lease cash they get from Mazda, but the numbers calculate out at the base money factor and residual, so they aren't marking anything up, which is very good.

Looks like you have to come up with $1536 at lease inception?

It's a fair lease deal.. the 49% residual on this model is pretty low and that hurts.. I know the GT is more expensive, but it has a better residual. Did they price that one out? Or, a Touring with automatic?

If you have any specific questions about the document or the numbers, just ask..

No they didn't price out a GT or an auto touring, I will definitely look at that though. I love manual, but don't really want to pay a premium for it. 

The 240 is reg and title etc.

Subtract 2% for Touring

$1750 lease cash. Add 1% for 12K

Lease cash is a dealer incentive on that particular vehicle. Use that knowledge to negotiate a lower selling price.

Right now the Pull ahead for Mazda is till May (that was for January). My dealer is calling me to let me know if they extended it at all. My fiance's lease return is July.

What are NJ February numbers for 2015 Mazda 6 I Sport Automatic... 15,000 miles per year.. MF and Residual? We are about to be over mileage so may have to roll the extra payments in it.

In the middle of negotiating a lease on a 2015 Mazda isport.

I know there is 1750 in lease cash, my wife currently leases a cx-5 so we qualify for a $500 loyalty credit that you can use with the lease cash.

My question is, can I expect to use a true car estimate as the agreed upon price on top of these credits? I want a great deal but don't want to offend the dealership as they have been nice up to this point.

Currently arriving at a 271 payment with no down, but using my true car estimate it would be 248 (including tax, title, reg).

10,000 lease, 36 months in RI.
