2015 Mazda6 Lease Questions

Am thinking about leasing the Mazda6 Grand Touring with Tech in Missouri. Can I get 36 months/15K miles residuals and money factors?

Also I am thinking of adding either port installed options and/or accessories or a combination of the two. Do these get factored into the MSRP and residual calculations? For example, would the Mazda Mobile Start be included in the MSRP if installed at port but not included if installed at the dealer?

Any help much appreciated.

2016 Mazda 6 Grand Touring 36/15 - 57% and .00004.

If it's on the factory window sticker it gets included in the residual calculation. If not, then it doesn't

Only 2016 numbers are available for the Mazda6

.00004 MF and 67%/62% residual. $100 lease cash.

I am looking to lease a 2016 Mazda 6 Touring Automatic in Texas. Lease would be 36/12. I was quoted the following by the dealer... MSRP $25,815; Invoice $24,558; Negotiated Price: $22,483. What am I looking at in terms of lease payment with no money down? Is this a good deal?

61% and .00004. Using your MSRP and negotiated price, I get a pre-tax payment of $188.64. However, if you want to do a $0 out of pocket lease, the payment will go up.

So...being in Texas and having to pay sales tax of 6.25% on the total vehicle price I would add that tax amount to the net capital cost? Would that give me a monthly payment of about $227? Am I figuring that correctly?

2016 mazda 6 i sport, no bells and whistles.
Out here in western PA
Deal i'm receiving from local Mazda dealer is this
36months/12k ... 2200 down (with taxes/title/1st month's pay) with 189 monthly (210 with taxes)

Questions
1. are taxes based on car's NET (22 - 23k) or is it taxed on the "payment" you make during the lease period
2. what is this MF and how can I use it to my advantage
3. should I be bargaining on the net price?
4. the residual they are using is 60%, is there more room for improvement, should I be asking them to plug in higher residuals like 61?62?63?
5. are MF and residuals based on trip level, if so, does a lowest trip get better or worse residual?
6. are most of you getting slapped with the disposition fee at the end of the lease period when you turn in your cars?

sorry, I've learned a lot by reading but still cannot seem to figure some of these numbers out. I want to be well prepared when I face the guys at the dealerships. Any help would be appreciated!. thanks much in advance.

1. In PA, the calculated monthly payment is subject to sales tax, which I think is 9%
2. MF is .00004
3. Yes, you want to achieve the lowest selling price you can
4. Residual is fixed by the bank, cannot be modified. 60% is the correct number for 36/12 on the Sport
5. If you want 15K miles per year, subtract 2%; if you want 10K, add 1%. MF is the same regardless
6. Disposition fee is imposed by the bank and cannot be waived.

Yeah... that's a recent thing for Mazda... dropping the residual for manual transmission. It's a massive hit on the Mazda6... less so on the Mazda3 and Miata..

It makes me sad.

I ask because this sounds like a good deal but the money factor seems inflated compared to what has been posted before (0.00004). It looks like he is increasing the MF and lowering the sale price well below invoice to create this. Should I still go for it?

Ok so I was calculating a potential lease for a Mazda6 iSport MT and with a residual of 53%, $100 lease cash and 0.00004 MF, knowing MSRP is 22315 and a decent price is 21345, I get just under 280 a month plus tax.. Is that true? Seems really high.

53% is the 36/12 residual; if you are looking for a 36 month term, the MF is .00030.

Sweet spot this month seems to be 33 months - 56% and .00001 for 33/12. $650 lease cash.

BTW, the above numbers are for the 2016 Mazda 6 - there are no lease numbers for the 2015 Mazda 6.

working backwards it comes out to about $26693 net capitalized cost which I thought was good (and he beat his own price which was already better than any other quote I got) so went for it and signed.

hopefully as good a deal as I think it is. true car says lowest price these are selling for is 26,200 sale price
