You have a good memory Marco. I like your bright cheery posts in the morning...they start my day off with a smile. We get picked up by the shuttle at 9:30......flight is at 12:30, home around 5. 80+ here, going to 34F, and possible wind gusts to 80 mph.

Unfortunately we are only allowed to stay in your beautiful....warm and sunny country for a total of 6 months in a year. There are people working on getting it extended to 7 months. Maybe if you guys signed a petition.........
I'll sign that petition. BTW Driver we may be in your neck of the woods come June. She who must be obeyed wants to go to Ontario so we are thinking of seeing some small unknown waterfall between two big lakes and spend a little time in Toronto. We are still in the planning stage.
Our area, Hamilton Ontario, is home to 100 waterfalls. The centerpiece is Websters Falls. Check Wikipedia

These are nice places to see, but busy. I assume you have been to Niagara Falls too, it is about an hour away. Let us know if you are coming this way.

I take the worst pictures. We drove through the countryside around Prague and Budapest and my pictures look like a cow pasture that could be anywhere. On most tours there is usually a guy that is a fanatic about pictures, these guys take 1000s of pictures. I go to one of these guys and ask him to email the top 10 pictures from each place we see. This has worked out well, one guy sent me a DVD of China complete with music, fade in fade out etc. It was a million times better than what I would have done.

Another problem is if it a really nice site, I forget to take pictures. I leave it to the experts.

Besides, in the long run a sexy car is cheaper than a sexy girl.
In my younger days I would have taken the sexy girl option even if it meant driving a terrible car. Now that I am too old for the sexy girl to be a possibility (given that I am not as wealthy as Robert Kraft, etc), the sexy car is about the only feasible substitute available, albeit a less satisfying one.
I'm guessing a vintage Ferrari is lower maintenance than that young lady. I'll take cars any day.
Who is your daddy? Bob Kraft's girlfriend is actually his companion (sic). She birthed a 'secret' baby last year but rumours say Bob is the father but he has denied paternity.

I need an easier way to kick over my Triumph motorcycle. My leg is really getting sore. It's a younger man's game.

I'm thinking that a compression release might help. We built this engine too tight I think.

You could always trade that Triumph in for a scooter, just step through no throwing a leg over.

Those guys that take 1000's of pictures likely don't take pictures any better than you. Even a poor photographer will get the occasional good picture. If you have a 1% chance that a picture will come out good and you take 1,000 pictures you will have 10 pictures that are good. And even great photographers might take 100 pictures to get that one good one.

I don't know for sure if they have, but they SHOULD. They have completely lost their way, IMHO. They used to be the sporty Japanese manufacturer. Now they are more appliance-like than even Toyota.

Rats, now that I reread his post he just might be talking about kick starting the thing. When I first read it (actually glanced over it as it was one of 100 I had to read) I thought he was referring to getting on the bike as no decent bike made in recent history doesn't have an electric start.

IIRC the last triumphs with kick starters were made in the early 80's. Although I could be wrong.

OF, your math is correct. I am 58 and will be soon 59 in early May. Yes, we were all blind sided by the announcement of the closing of our and several other offices. The parent company continuously gave us positive vibes and held team building events. Seems the state where the company is headquartered enticed the company with a huge tax break to expand their presence there. Thanks for the kind thoughts. Will make the best of it but am not looking forward to searching for a new job.

No way! After a 2010 LTZ, 2011 LTZ, & 2015 Tahoe LT, this 2018 Yukon SLT is his 4th. At the end of 2017 they had 15% off of Yukon Denalis which worked out to anywhere from $10K - $12K off sticker. The idea of the BIG discount on the truck with the 6.2L Motor, Magnetic Ride Control, & Xenon Headlights was appealing, but the inventory out there had strange option combinations. There was nothing out there that had remotely near
what my Dad wanted. Even with the big discount, add the tax and finance charges and things get VERY expensive. So we factory ordered EXACTLY what he wanted and got 0% financing for 72 months (he just took the loan out for 60 months).

Keeping your weight down gets harder as you age. I'm at a good weight, but that's not the entire problem. As you age, you lose muscle mass so you have to keep moving, keep active.

Age 40-ish is a good time to get control of that!

I thought I was gaining weight because of fat changing to heavier muscles!!!! :@
Better be careful. Remember that pile of polo shirts with horizontal stripes that you have. ;)
Will you never let that man live that down? :s
Yeh, once it goes out on the internet you can't take it back......unfortunately.

    Maybe everyone will forget it if I send my Halloween costume for next October;

That Batman pic has always fascinated me. It is one of those pics where you can see two different things. One is the Batman sign, but if you picture the yellow parts as teeth and the black part as an open mouth with two teeth on top and two on the bottom. Another classic from driver !!

You know I'm pulling for you @sda! Keep your head up! You'll find something better & hopefully more lucrative.
+1 It's hard to find a good job nowadays. We're all pulling for you.

    Photo creeps me out :s

    WHY ?

Thought it was his girlfriend. Is it his daughter?
I don't know anything about him other than he is currently the owner of the best franchise in the NFL.

Maybe one of our New England poster buddies knows the answer to your question.

2nd best franchise. Let's keep it real here.
I hate to ask who you think is first but I KNOW you'd be wrong about that. :o

I deal in real time, not the dusty pages of history. I suppose General Custer would insist that the 7th cavalry was still the "best in the west" overall, in cumulative battles, with nicer uniforms and neater formations when riding. :p
