With the powers that be switching the software back and forth, I am getting some very weird error messages out of Chrome.

@explorer4, I didn't buy it, Son #2 did. I think he got it at Food Lion while doing some grocery shopping. I can't remember the name but it's that Mexican XX beer in 12 ounce green bottles, pretty good though.

To get technical, it was just a changed setting, not an overhaul of the software. Your cache has the rich editor in any discussion you were in (might be pages you were on too, but I haven’t run into that) Clearing your cache or refreshing the page gets the oldhtml editor back in place

    @jmonroe1,
We have been stopping at a Food Lion on 12 on our way to our rental.
Not sure if it is the same one. There is True Value or Ace hardware store in the same plaza.
My kids stop at a Brew Thru every year to buy the latest tee shirt, not sure if they buy any beer.
Personally, I have never been to a Brew Thru.
They seem to be ewpurposed old gas stations where the service bays are now drive through's and the office converted into a big cooler.
Pull in, order your beer, don't even have to get out of your vehicle, and drive out.

Finally, the car parked in my friends neighbors driveway showed up.

I like those. Reminds me of my misspent youth. My buddy and I borrowed his uncle's Thunderbird to cruise the drive in restaurants one evening. Two high school kids in a blue Thunderbird.

The car has been reborn as the "Karma Revero". I actually saw one on the road today.

Still better looking than a Model S, IMNSHO.

I remember these, but forgot about them so looked it up....interesting, another EV bites the dust.

The first deliveries took place in the U.S. in late July 2011,[9][10][11] and deliveries to retail customers began in November 2011.[7] Pricing in the U.S. started at US$102,000 for the base model (EcoStandard), Around 1,800 units were delivered in North America and Europe through December 2012.[13] The U.S. was the leading market, with about 1,600 units sold

Production was suspended in November 2012 when the sole battery supplier to Fisker Automotive, A123 Systems, filed for bankruptcy following two battery recalls. Fisker Automotive was unable to carry on production of the Fisker Karma in the absence of its sole battery supplier,[15] with about 2,450 Karmas built since 2011.[13] After furloughing its US workers in late March 2013,[16] Fisker Automotive filed for bankruptcy in November 2013, after the United States Department of Energy auctioned its debt and sold it to Hybrid Technology LLC for US$25 million.[17]

Following the sale of some of the assets of the company, the designs, rights to a plug-hybrid powertrain and a manufacturing facility in Delaware to the Chinese company Wanxiang, the new owners re-commenced production in September 2016 under the brand name Karma Automotive.[18] After several announcements by the Wanxiang Group to reintroduce an upgraded version of the Fisker Karma, the car was renamed the Karma Revero and Karma Automotive started taking orders in September 201

Interesting text from my daughter up in the Chicago area. They listed her townhouse Friday for $167,000 and her realtor has already received 3 offers at listing price - one of them is all cash with a 14 day close. Her realtor sent the offers back to the 3 bidders and asked them for a final offer. The realtor said the townhouse should sell for over listing price.

    Miraculous news!😁😀

Then I would say the realtor has provided bad advice and underpriced the townhouse.

I wonder if that is a strategy......I think it happens in Toronto where people pay way over asking price? Price it low to get people interested, if you get 2 or more interested they will bid up the price. Kind of like when they advertise a car for a cheap price just so they can get you in the door, knowing you aren't going to buy the stripper model, but can be talked into something more expensive....a version of bait and switch.

The "techno gibberish" you saw in the comment box is what you see when you quote a post that had a quote in it that was made with that rich editor. It created a lot of html to make the box the quote was put in and almost displayed as an image. If you just type below it and post, it all works out! :)

I loaned those cars to Dean because he liked them when he saw them one time when he was in the Burgh doing a show. The understanding was he could keep them for a while until I wanted them back. Then he up and died on me but his estate was not aware of our agreement. When I brought that to their attention the only one they were willing to return to me was the one he wrecked. :@ :@

She needed to sell the townhouse quickly. The average price of existing units like her’s is $169,000. So by going $2000 lower, they felt it would sell quickly. Hopefully, one of the 3 bidders will offer a final of $170,000. So the townhouse was not listed way too low - just enough to get it sold fast. She moves here in 2 weeks.

Given what she has to do, a quick full priced (I’ve no reality on this, but taking the posters word) sale, with fast closing is a good way to go!

She could have course gotten a range of worse to much better offers.

If you underprice something, you'll start a bidding war, and this works for cars or houses. VERY hard to undersell something unless you take the first offer that comes along without consideration for other offers.

    Miraculous news!😁😀

I have to ask what area does she live? Also what size is it? in most areas around here $167K is a steal.
    $167000 near any major city is a steal, unless it is this house;

This would be a good “tear down” in Detroit, MI. for the parcels delinquent taxes.

I read that at the Detroit’s peak it had 144 square miles of productive tax parcels. At the LOW Detroit is trying to recover 44 mi.² of lost productive tax parcels. No matter how rehabilitation of the lost areas goes, cars will continue to play an integral part.

I'm thinking of taking a vacation from this place. Maybe check back in a week or two, see if they have gotten any of this screwy mess straightened out.

I'm beginning to think that there has been some management changes at Edmunds and doing typical management things they can't leave well enough alone. So, they have to make their mark on something. Not being sure what to do, they pick on our forums. I could be wrong but if I am it ain't by much.

“The "techno gibberish" you saw in the comment box is what you see when you quote a post that had a quote in it that was made with that rich editor. It created a lot of html to make the box the quote was put in and almost displayed as an image. If you just type below it and post, it all works out! “

That response, to me, is techno gibberish.

Like I said, I’ll just copy and paste because I don’t know what any of it means.

I seem to recall several other tech-debacles with past forum changes, going back well over a decade. Seems we just have to expect it. This one was different though. A problem suddenly crops up for users of a certain platform after things were working fine for a number of years. Nobody seemed to understand why (or if they did, they wouldn't say). A move to a new and improved editor is sold as the solution, only it creates a whole new set of issues. Rinse and repeat.

While there is undoubtedly much blame to go around, at this point there is little point to finding a scapegoat. We'd just like it fixed so it works.

As noted, we have a discussion for tech-related issues. You can either get back to whatever the theme of this discussion might be, or we can just take a break.

A Colorado if you need a “real” truck, and a ridge line if you need an SUV with an open bed and moderate towing capability.

If you want to step up to a barge, the usual suspects.

I think the ranger looks nice but unfavorable reports on ride and handling.
