From what my friends tell me who work in the industry, never ever buy any of this stuff. #1 you will probably not need it. #2 if you do need it, you will not get any protection when they drop fine print on you.

Factory to consumer incentives. Since you know about them, be sure to factor them into your offers. You can be sure that any offer from the dealer will already include them.

-What should payments be looking like? Here's the scenario:

total drive off - $2,279, is this just fees?

Don't know what's included in your drive off amount. You'd have to ask the dealer.

I read that is can be $725 and dealers mark up by $200 to $925...but also read that it has been changed. Is there any updated information about this?

The amount of each MSD is the payment, rounded up to the next $50 increment.
Each SD lowers the MF by .00007, for a total reduction of .00049

Hey Mike, I think is right to post about the 5 series in here. From your previous message sent to me on this lease numbers, I read the threads, but couldn't find an answer for the question. Can I get this payment lower?

That's a heck of a discount, but the MF is marked up to compensate (base MF is .00135).

Hey, the dealer has to make some money on this deal, right?

Can't hurt to push for the base MF, however. Will save you roughly $30/mo

So you don't think I can get away with murder my pushing for base MF and nothing out of pocket but first month payment? I guess $409 would be the payment.

If you roll in all the taxes and fees to your selling price, that will add to your payment.

If you don't ask, you don't get.

Gap insurance is standard with BMW leases. The only brand I'm aware of that doesn't bundle it into the lease is Toyota.

quick questions guys. Can you extend a lease with BMW, for example: IF you do a 10k/year lease. Can you at the end extend the lease for an additional 10k miles and 1 more year?

BMWFS usually only allows extensions if you have a car on order.. So, 90 days, at most.

Add 2% for 12K/yr

$3000 buildout cash is still there.

If it's a car in the dealer's service loaner/demo program, the $3000 probably applies

If it's an employee lease or executive car that they bought at a BMW auction, then it probably doesn't.
