Seems OK, but Audi's are expensive to lease, and I'll need more information to fully evaluate.

• 2016 Audi Q5 2.0 Premium Plus with tech pkg.

• dealer says MF is .00165 and resid 59%
  
• keeping ttl out of the picture to keep it simple (I can ay that in case),
  
• dealer says monthly payment is around $622.
  
• I am coming up with $587
  
• MSRP is $48,050 plus $500 dealer fee and $400 for tinting for total of $48,950
  
• Invoice / sales price $45,655 (include the $500 and $400 above added to invoice price)
  
• Can you please let me know what you come up with? + your opinion on whether this is a good deal in terms of price? THANKS

I agree with the .00165 MF and, if you are including AudiCare, the 59% residual.

Using your MSRP and sales price, I get $589/mo before tax.

Dealer might be rolling some fees into the cap cost (bank fee?) that could account for the difference.

I confirm the lease numbers of.00165 and 59% for 39/10 with AudiCare.

Using the MSRP and the $44,197 selling price, I get a pre-tax payment of $560/mo

Residual is calculated against the bottom line number of the window sticker.

We do not recommend making any sort of a down payment on a lease - if the car is stolen or totaled, you lose that money.

What state and tax rate is this?

Thanks - I agree about down payment. So if we did want to utilize about $4,000, could we do MSD’s? If so, how man can we do and by how much does that lower the rate? Or, is that also not a good decision?

At the moment, 2015's are much cheaper to lease, mainly due to the lower MF, but also because I believe you can negotiate more off sticker on a leftover model.

It was actually cheaper for me to lease a 2016 than a leftover 2015... And I'm saying that after I was offered over 10% off on a 2015.  The higher residual on a 2016 makes a hell of a difference in price (almost $30 a month in my case) despite the higher MF with the 2016.

What is the selling price?

39/10 lease numbers on the 2.0T Premium are .00146 and 58%.

The negative equity alone is adding $87/mo to the lease payment.

With your prices, I get $457/mo with tax, so a little bit under your quote of $480/mo.

Not sure what happened to all of the negative equity, but that looks like a good deal.

How is the $1500 due at signing being applied?

Not sure how they are applying the down payment.  We were able to get the downpayment down to $1000 @ $480 per month so we went with it.  Thanks for your input.
