What is the residual and mf for 2015 Audi sq5 0n 39/12k?

    .00139 and 56% for SQ5 Premium Plus 39/10

    Subtract 4% for Prestige.
Why does the Prestige have a lower residual?
Higher trim levels often have a lower residual. Better to get the lower trim and option it up.

I'm in the process of trying to get the dealer to lower the msrp by 7%. Is it possible?

7% off a limited edition car like the SQ5 may be a challenge, but if you don't ask, you don't get.

Thanks, let's see what happens, what I was really looking for is a 2014, there really isn't any difference between them. Problem is, I can't seem to find any 2014:(

MF is set by the bank; dealer can inflate it for more profit, but cannot go lower than the base rate.

Not sure that using outside financing will result in a better deal. If the MF is lower, so too is the residual, for the most part.

Because the numbers don't really change for 2 months, can we just have a table of values for the Q5? Can copy my text and add the values after each. Then can refer back to post number when people ask exact same question? I'm personally interested in TDI and 2.0T PP 10k miles at various lengths but I'm sure other people will be interested in other combinations. Thanks in Advance.

Unfortunately the new software does not number the posts - one of the few features missed about the old platform.

The current Audi numbers expire on 4/1/15.

    In general, add 2% / 3% / 4% to the 15K residual value for 12K / 10K / 7.5K.

AudiCare adds 1% to any residual.

Leases 39 months or longer have a MF .0002 higher than those for 36 months or shorter.

    Deduct 2% / 4% / 7% from the 36 month residual for lease terms of 39 / 42 / 48 months

    All numbers below are 36/15:

    2.0T Premium - .00123 and 56%

    3.0T Premium Plus - .00116 and 55%

    TDI Premium Plus - .00114 and 56%

    SQ5 Premium Plus - .00119 and 56%

    Hybrid Prestige - .00147 and 50%

Thanks. Since all engines have two trims (except Hybrid), do the numbers change for the next trim up?
    (base 36/15)

    Thanks so much.

    Yes.. numbers change....

Sorry, but we aren't doing a grid... The next person to ask a question just starts from the beginning, and we have hundreds of makes/models..

If you have a specific question, feel free to ask it..

I did just ask it. You didn't answer it, you just shut it down.
As for not "doing a grid", sure would save a lot of time and make actually using these forums a lot less frustrating (with 10 threads about specific things with no end dates making it very hard to find the info WITHOUT asking the same question again)

But I'm looking specifically at the TDI and 2.0T, which is why I wrote: "I'm personally interested in TDI and 2.0T PP 10k miles at various lengths"

But the answer had the 2.0T Premium, not PP. That's why I followed up...
    Thanks

MF is based on engine type, so it will be the same for Premium and Premium Plus

Residual for 2.0T PP (36/15 - see my previous post for mileage and lease term adjustments) - 53%

    TDI PP 36/15 - 56%

Looking for a TDI Premium Plus with Technology Package, in Minneapolis is got a quote based on MF of 0.00227 and residual of 59% on a 36/10 lease. I feel that the finance dept inflated the numbers quite a bit? This would be an APR of 5.4%. I have excellent credit.

The base MF on the TDI Premium Plus is .00114. I confirm the 36/10 residual of 59%.

Looking at a TDI Premium Plus 2015.
    MSRP 53,725
    Net Cap 50,000
    12K miles
    36 mo. term
    sales tx rate 6%
My calculations have a payment of about 686/mo.
    My dealer is around 830/mo.
Am I doing something wrong? Or are they just shooting me a really high lease number?

My calculations have a payment of about 686/mo.
    My dealer is around 830/mo.
Am I doing something wrong? Or are they just shooting me a really high lease number?

I get 637.62/m with tax, how much are you putting down? What state are you in?

Is the $1800 down to cover the up front costs, or is any of that actual cap cost reduction?

So total out of pocket at lease signing is $1800 plus first month, acquisition fee, etc.

$1800 over 36 months reduces the payment by $50/mo

Thanks to michaell and flightnurse. I just leased a Q5. I was able to squeeze them just a little more on the selling price, but your residual and money factor were exactly right.

Hello, is $575/mo a good lease for '15 Q5 TDI - 36mo/10k? Car link below. Total discount would be $3,159 as quoted by the dealer, so selling price would be $50,096 and have an old audi for trade in valued at $6,800.

Out the door price (including, rebates, trade in, tax etc) is at $48,182.

What is the MSRP? What are you doing with the trade equity? We don't recommend you use it as cap cost reduction - if the car is stolen or totaled, you lose that money. Use what you need to for the up front costs, and have the dealer cut you a check for the rest. Or, use it for MSD's - can make 9 of them, each of which will reduce the MF by .00005.

36/10 numbers on the TDI Premium Plus are .00114 and 59%.

I've attached the lease print out given to me by the dealership. You had asked what the MSRP was and I can only guess that its the $53,255.

You'd also mentioned that I should not put 100% of the trade in value towards car upfront due to lost value if stolen or totaled. My insurance company covers vehicle replacement on brand new cars for only $14 a year. Would this be worth applying the 100% of the trade in?

Also, audi listed a 100% cash upfront option. I'm assuming your thoughts on that would be similar to the trade in, but over the 3 years it would save almost $2,500.

Thanks for your help and your opinion.

    Yes, $53,255 is the MSRP.

What state is this? Only Texas, Georgia and Maryland apply sales tax to the entire selling price. Otherwise, it's taxed monthly.

Your insurance company would only cover the portion owed - the trade in would decrease the total payout.

The pre-paid lease is not the same as cash up front. A pre-paid lease gets you a discount on the MF for the total of the payments due. If you have the cash to do this, we don't have any objections.

Hi, first time potential leaser trying to learn.

Offer: 2015 Q5 TDI, 54355 MSRP. Offer only 1100 off price.
    Lease for 36mo / 15k miles.

    North Carolina Taxes

Truecar price seemed closer to $3000 off MSRP

What is Feb 2015 MF / Residual for this vehicle?
Is there a goal % off the MRSP which is consider a good deal (vague question)?

    Thanks in advance.

Educate yourself on leasing, only someone who doesn't understand leasing would waste 6K as a down payment. IF placing 6K down is the only way you can afford the suv then look at a lower price SUV...

.00114 and either 56% (Premium Plus) or 52% (Prestige). Audi dealers are allowed to mark up the MF for extra profit; your dealer seems to be doing this.

4-6% off sticker is a good selling price.

As noted by @flightnurse‌ , we don't recommend making a down payment on a lease; if the car is stolen or totaled, you lose that money. Consider instead using the cash to make multiple security deposits (MSD) to buy down the money factor; you get that money back at the end of the lease.

Find out from the dealer what they are using as the "net cap cost" that gives the $680/mo payment. My guess is that it's higher than the $1100 off sticker selling price they are quoting you.

Thank you both for your insight.  I was using down payment to lower monthly-- but can change that.

Using the msd model, I could pay the mf lower than 0.00114?    I understand it will lower monthly payments. How does the deposit return at the end ?

Will ask ask net cap cost as offer does not list hidden fees yet.

Correct - Audi allows you to make up to 9 security deposits, each of which will lower the MF by .00005.

At the end of the lease, Audi will return that money to you in the form of a check, or you can roll it over to use as MSDs on the next Audi lease (which is what they would prefer).

MSD are a great way of using that 6K, on average for a 26/m lease you are saving about $1900, then add the 6K you get back,,,

Hi trying to get information regarding the money factor and residual value for a 2015 Q5 3.0T TFSI Quattro Premium Plus in the New Jersey Area. First time leasing so i'm really trying to understand how I can get the best deal on a 7.5K/ 36mo lease, with up to 3500 down

    MSRP: 51,795
    Negotiated price (so far) $48,100
lowest offer we've received on this particular car: $2074.36 down, $597/mo for 10k / 42mo.

    Thank you

    36/7.5 on the Q5 3.0T Premium Plus - .00116 and 59%; these change to .00136 and 55% for 42/7.5. Using your MSRP and selling price, I get a pre-tax payment of $578.49 for 367.5 and $571.13 for 42/7.5.
