2015 Mercedes C Class Lease Questions

I am interested in leasing a 2015 C Class 4 door sedan with AWD and the standard engine. I live in NY and plan to lease it for 30 or 36 months with 10K or 12K miles per year. What is the money factor and residual value for this car and what kind of discount will be available off MSRP? Are there any dealer incentives?

In the past you enabled me to make good lease deals based on your previous input. Thanks for your great help.

No numbers available for the 2015 sedans, yet. Just the coupes.

Hi kyfdx The MSRP and invoice prices were jus listed on Edmunds and I printed them out. The invoice and MSRP prices for the C300 Sport Sedan follow for the base price Invoice: $35,712 and MSRP $38,400. The various options were also listed. I am test driving the AWD sedan with the base engine tomorrow. I will let you know my reactions to the car. I currently have a 2012 C Class sedan. Any help that you can provide me (money factor, residuals, incentives, etc) would be greatly appreciated.

No 2015 C-class sedan lease information is available from MB this month. If the cars are showing up on the lots, I would expect that information to be available with the September program announcements.

Current MB numbers expire 9/2. We won't have the September numbers until the 3rd at the earliest.

From your previous posts, please correct me if I am wrong but 2015 C300, 36 months 10k miles residual is 63% and 12k miles residual is 62% both with standard 0.00150 as MF.

No idea on the selling price, but 9% off MSRP might be hard to get on a new 2015 model.

You can use MSD to buy down the MF; auto-pay reduces the MF by .0001

Not strictly a lease question, but I hope the mods can answer - MB invoice price has been 7% below MSRP excluding destination, and Edmunds still lists it as such. However, I've seen quotes on MY15 C-Class from multiple dealers that say invoice is now only 6% below MSRP excl dest. Has there been a change in MB invoice pricing that just hasn't been updated by Edmunds yet, or are dealers now padding invoice prices too?

c300 4 matic: sport package, premium package, panorama roof, heated front seats
MSRP: $48005
Negotiated: $42005
money factor: 0.00196
residual: 62% for 12k/36months
monthly lease w/tax (9.5%): $547
cash due: $1500

according to my calculations, monthly should be $526.39. where did my calculations go wrong?
also, would it be reasonable to negotiate money factor down to 0.00166? i read this was base mf for c300.

My numbers work out the same as yours. Are there any fees being rolled into the cap cost over and above the $42,005?

Yes, you should work to lower the MF to the base of .00166 .. politely but firmly explain to them you won't sign a deal with an inflated MF.

Yes.. $795 is the base fee.. $1095 is the maximum they are allowed to charge..

Sadly, I'm not in the market for luxury German sedans, so I can't help you with pricing ... use the tools at the top of the page.

We also don't recommend that you make a down payment on a lease ... if the car is stolen or totaled, you are out that money.

Base MF is .00166 and the residual for 36/12 is 62%.

So I'm working with 2 different dealers. Both have alrdy agreed to match negotiated prices but they are marking up other fees...
Dealer 1: MF 0.00196, doc fee 80 (base), acq fee 1095
Dealer 2: MF 0.00166 (base), doc fee 495, acq fee 1095
Both don't know or can't give me details on MSDs...

I can't seem to get either dealer to give me base MF 0.00166, base doc fee 80, and base acq fee 795. Are the dealers still able to make money? One is claiming they are alrdy at "buy rate and below invoice". Yet he also lied and said all dealers charge DOC fee of 495 and had no clue about MSDs.

Should I just try another dealer?

Mercedes MSDs only work well if it's a model with the standard money factor.. They don't allow an MSD credit from a subvented MF..

Do you live in CA? Doc fees are restricted to $80 by law, there.

I live in Cali but work in vegas. dealer 1 was in cali and dealer 2 nevada, so that explains why dealer 2 marked up doc to 495.

Anything lower than Mercedes standard money factor (currently around .0020) is subvented. MSD discounts to the MF can only be taken from that standard money factor.

.00166 is the base money factor for that model, but it is subvented (already discounted from standard).

If package options matter, please let me know and I will include them. Also, if you know for sure what they charge for an upfront purchase of extra miles, that would be helpful. Thank you.

53% residual for 36 months, 69% residual for 24 months.

No 27 month specials for this model.
