But I traded in my car which fetch me around the price of moonroof around $900.
Plastic fake wood, fake aluminum or fake carbon fibre trim is normal. Probably on the TCH it's the fake wood like on the Avalon.

I saw this option on one XLE V6. Fake wood was what I thought at the beginning. The catalog says XLE already comes with wood deco. I asked a sales person, he said he didn't know. Maybe some kind of dash protection thing??
Also, 06 sonata limited V6, OTD 21,500,
can not decide which one I should get!!
I just heard on the radio a few minutes ago in WV the rebate on a Sonata is as high as $3900. Don't know how old your price is but I'd make sure I knew what the current rebates were
Well that's what I did as well but the Sonata is an option for some.
My TCH MSRP of $30,589 less $2600Fed Tax Credits and less $3750 State Tax Credits = <$24,000! (after credits)
I was fortunate with my last 8 Toyotas as the dealer in St Albans, WV (they changed sales policies a few years back) and now the one I deal with Buckhannon Auto Mall have been great to work with. Working with them I was able to get my TCH EARLY (May5th) in time for the WV state tax credit. They also had it in my hands within a few hours of the truck dropping it off at the dealership and offer a "Free Tires For Life" program.
Toyota came through with my order, if only the dealership didn't mess up the paint finish while preparing it for delivery. Worse for them, and I have to wait another few months, but I want a quality product when I'm buying anything, much less a car.
Let the board know which dealer you were dealing with, so we can avoid picking up that scratched car.
You should have taken better car of it!
I am looking for one too...
thanks

My cost $29.4k - this dealer was willing to match the 'employee' pricing offered by another dealer. However I had to order the car based on my preferred configuration.
I'll order the mats somewhere on-line (and hopefully save money) and I will also probably change out the OEM tires Turanza EL-400-02 to something quieter and better.

I'm spec'ing out a V6 XLE myself and was wondering:
- Does anyone have guidance on if buying your own carpet mats is typically better?
- Also, can remote start functionality be added to the same smartkey aftermarket (I believe it's a key combination to activate) for less or should I have it included as an option (MSRP $595)
Thanks.
I went without the mats beacuse I was initially going to put in 'cheap' replacable carpet remmanants - but then I realized how tacky that might look after spending 30grand and putting a $2 mat in it - but it was too late by then. However, I still think I can do better on-line and get OEM Camry carpets. Meanwhile I'll use cheap throw mats from (add your favorite)-Mart.
I have looked at the Toyota-provided door side moldings on another '07 Camry. It looked unimpressive both in size and install. I could see uneven gaps between it and the door side panels all along the length of the two doors. It was a tacky paste-on type. Now I am sorry I asked for this $200 add-on. There is no way it will save my door from parking lot dings. It was mostly for looks anyway and to differentiate 'my' car from the others in town - but I was not impressed by what I saw.
For the money, I would rather have got the spoiler lip on the trunk.
Lastly, I have no clue about after-market upgrades to the smartkey system.

Go to a dealer (after closing) and find a car that matches up MSRP wise and now you'll know what the actual invoice figure is for the car with options. Note that the sticker will show the destination charge and list all options at the same figures Edmunds told you were MSRP prices. Next, go to Fitzmall.com and find a car that matches up to the one you want. You'll find the MSRP prices match up with what you've have already found in your Edmunds and carlot research. Look at Fitzmall "delivered internet" price which is the price they will sell you the car before tax, title, and licensing. They only add a small documentary fee of $55(PA.) or $99(MD), but they will waive that fee if you live out of state and you will handle your own T.T.L.. So now you have a car that for example has a MSRP price of $32,233, Invoice Price of $28,869 and Delivered Internet Price of $28,969( see stock#T524807, a Black XLE V6 listed today).Caution: sometimes the invoice price recited by Fitz won't match up with Edmunds, but they broke it down for me and I found they were factoring in Dealer Holdback amounts. Bottom line is you will have a for example $30,000 MSRP car that you can buy from them for about $27,200. You won't get a better quote from any dealer to begin with.
I then found I would have to pay $99 to fly out to Baltimore and drive car back( the $99 doc. fee would be waived and Fitz would give me 30 day temp. tgs) or they would put me in touch with some auto transport companies who would haul it to me for about $600-700.
I then took my Fitz price and shopped it with big dealers assuming they would argue I would have to pay extra to actually get the Fitz car here and that I should be willing to pay several hundred dollars more locally. Surprise! A couple of local dealers immediately said they would work with me and as I pitted them against each other and Fitz I finally got one that exactly matched the Fitz price including doc. fees. So I got my desired car at desired price and without extra airfare or freight fees.
How do these deals sound in general? Being the car is so hard to come by I'm not sure that I can do much better and it's impossible to try some of the tactics suggested here as virtually no dealer has the car on it's lot. It's still pretty much an order and wait proposition.
Also, does anyone with nav know if there is any kind of monthly fee for the service??
Thanks !!
Looks like you did well. Did you have to wait for one?
The car looks great!
Question: does "$ over invoice" include any doc fee in this forum?
You shouldn't have to pay that doc fee though.
See Fitzmall for vehicles/prices. They sell for $300 over dealer invoice with NO doc. fee!!!
You can find your car on-line.

I had a trade in and got the Kelly Blue book trade in value.
I also looked at and considered buying a 2007 Mazda 3, and a 2006 Acura TSX.
I purchased this vehicle at Thompson Toyota in Doylestown, PA.
a) reasonable amount?
b) worth it for a reliable Toyota products?
c) better value from independent warranty providers?
I have 30 days to cancel outright and after that they will refund a prorated amount when/if I cancel.
I did emailed other dealerships saying that I have $20,800 offer and can they bit it, but no one have even responded to it.
I know that car is kind of “hot” but come on, this kills all excitement on buying a new car.
Question: am I doing something wrong?
Gosh it's unbelievable how some dealers attempt to gouge people. What a ripoff.
Good news: you can call and cancel the one you purchased!
