bought G37 cp-prm/spt/net/kpl/nav for 34k+ttl/tax/process/freight, but it is hard to judge the real number since I had a trade-in.
djcmock@yahoo.com
Price after $2500 rebate was $33k.
After dealing with the Toyota double teaming pressure cooker environment, dealing with real pros at Infiniti was a relief. Oh yea, a $100 dinner coupon included, at a nice Dallas steakhouse, and yes, it was freekin great!
At our store in Texas (just one of 180+ dealerships) here were our averages - please keep in mind these are averages - some paid less others more - some cars were base and some were loaded - some folks added chrome wheels, etc - you get the picture. I'm sure some dealerships made more and some less.....
31 G37 sedans - ave price was $1561 below invoice ($2500 dealer cash)
16 G37 coupes - ave price was $3282 below invoice ($5000 dealer cash)
13 G37 convertible - ave price was $2634 above invoice (yes above)
We finished 5th in country, are sitting a #3 in country for the year - just so you get an idea of our volumn.
Overall prices dropped a couple hundred dollars - hopes this helps - looks like most of you guys get great deals due to you doing your homework - remember many customers don't spend the time you guys do researching. And keep in mind your trade and financing arrangement are as important as the price of the vehicle.

I will also assist another person once I receive my Amex code. Thank you very much!
I was very happy with the purchase and the overall experience at the dealership.
I am in Houston, which dealership in Texas?.....pm me if possible.
I just purchased FX35 and are looking for a current owner who has not redeemed their code to team-up for the Amex gift card incentive. Because this Amex promotion is expired on 11/30/09, I am looking for someone who is serious about this promotion. (I realize that) everyone is reluctant to exchange one's personal info by email because nobody can trust each other. If someone who lives around NJ, NY and CT, I am willing to meet him/her face to fact to make this deal. Also, if an owner with the code emails me, I will send my cell number to discuss about how we can exchange the info. If you are interested in this promotion, please email to jhlee4u@gmail.com.
Thanks.
If taking the 0% for 36mon. what has been the average price for your dealership? Also when you guys have to do a dealers trade with another dealership, what does the consumer has to paid and can it be waived (ex like shipping)? The reason I ask is because I want to buy the car from my local dealership but they don't have the color combo I want.

Since I'm looking for something specific that's not in stock, I'm prepared to pay more to my local dealer. So a couple of questions:
1) what kind of premium is reasonable if my local dealer has to obtain a car from another dealer (i.e. further than I'm willing to drive to get myself) ?
2) are the dealer incentives still available in this situation?
4) are out of state transfers possible between dealerships?
5) any gotcha's to look out for?
If there are any dealers out there with fully loaded 6MT's in stock in sunny FLA feel free to PM me
Cheers!
Still looking for someone who has their code and wants to partner up for the AMEX promotion. I will give you additional $75 to sweeten the deal.

If we have to hirer a trucker to bring a car in from another city or state - that cost must be passed on to the consumer (either the dealer flat out charges you or if they are making enough money they say they are doing it for "free", but nothing is free - that just means if you would have picked one off the lot it would have been cheaper).
Excluding the $1100, the price was as good as the best deals listed on this site. However, with the 2010 models about to come out, I have decided to wait for the new model year.

If anybody in the Cincinnati area wants to take advantage of the AMEX reward, let me know.
I am in the market for a 2009 G37X sedan with nav and premium packages. I look to finance the purchase myself. Is $36K+ tax a realistic price in the chicagoland area? If so any particular dealership I should be targeting to get this price?
Thanks
Ask yourself - what business/company would buy a product in bulk, then turn around and retail that product one at a time for less than they bought it for?? Plus, hire people to do it and spend money on a facility and pay interest on the product while they wait to sell them for less than they paid??
If you find some morons to do this, act quickly - obviously they will not be around too long or could they be making money somewhere else? Trade, Doc fees, Dealer prep fees, after-market items, financing??
There is much more to a "car deal" than just the price of the car.
PS In Texas, $1800-$2000 below invoice seems to be where deals are happening.
Hello. Where have you been for the past thirty years? Many dealers(all brands) sell for at or below invoice on a daily basis, have been doing so for years and continue to do so. It's called volume selling. I realize you know all that which makes it all the more aggravating when you discourage posters to not even try to get that kind of deal because they will "get you on trade-in or financing". They make their money on service, used car sales, parts, etc. Now I know your standard response.....Oh but watch out for trade value, financing, add-ons....yada yada yada. The great majority of people who purchase from a dealership bring their car back into that dealership for service. Lots of money in that backshop. I get a lot more advertisements for "service coupons" than I do for new car bargains.
I realize that you provide some useful information on this forum but I just wish you would get off this constant bandwagon of "new car dealers can't sell below invoice or they'll go out of business". A lot of people have gotten deals for less than invoice paying cash and no trade-in. Can it be done routinely? Not usually, but telling people to not even try is not helpful.
PS. When I indicate below invoice I mean with no customer rebates/dealer cash offered. In that case it would be that amount under invoice+.
Sure dealers sell below invoice - I will sell you a G37 below invoice IF you have a trade (because I will hold on the trade to make up the difference) or if you will finance through us (because I mark up the loan and get money back from the bank). I'm not trying to discourage anyone from getting a great deal - I just don't want people wasting their time trying to get deals that are impossible or simply reminding them if the price is way better than everyone else got around the US, maybe there is more going on. By the way, as a sales manger, I get paid to make money selling cars - not when you come back to have the car serviced - I have never had the service manager come by and stroke me a check and say thanks for giving all those cars away. You are right, we don't make much on the selling of new cars, but we don't do it at a loss is all I'm saying.
As for your comment about dealers NOT going out of business - go try and buy a G37 from Infiniti of Santa Monica - I heard they sell or sold cars at below invoice or at least they used to....
Lastly - I want to encourage everyone to get the best deal they can and buy an Infiniti!
My only info has come from the Infiniti web page email help. they say Dec 17, but no pricing.
in your opinion are there any other must have options? Glass Impact Sensor? Spoilers? Splash Guards? Etc?
