    Hi all,

I am considering a coupe with auto. Does anyone have any idea what these are going for vs. the msrp?

    Thanks.

The latest quote i bargained to with all the bells and whistles listed below and with $300 over invoice totalling to [[[ $38,388 ]]] with new chrome 19'' wheels installed by the dealer. Is this a good deal?? or can i get this bargained lower??? Any advice is appreciated? I live in Phoenix, AZ.

    Infiniti Navigation Package $1,800 $1,624
    Sport-Tuned Suspension Package $1,600 $1,379
    Sirius Satellite Radio $350 $302
    Trunk Mat $80 $64
    New Dealer Chrome Wheels(19'') $1600 $950(bargained)

Ok just got back from the FOURTH dealer. Here is the final deal I made.
Final Invoice Price - $ 37,700/- plus taxes etc.
    .. WITH ... following options..

    1) Premium Package
    2) Sports package
    3) Navigation
    4) 19'' Chrome wheels (all dealers were asking $1,600!!)

Haggled to finally $37,700 with all the above options including the new chrome wheels. So bottome line I paid less then invoice and got chrome wheels with it.
Is this a good deal?? Any feedback is apprciated! :)

Thanks for the heads up. two follow-up questions:

    1) On the license fees, can you request that they show you how that fee is broken out to ensure it all goes to the state?

    2) I've heard that dealers often have a return fee as well. Is this negotiable or is it set in stone?
  • kyfdxkyfdx Moderator Posts: 267,403
    1) I'm sure they could show you the fees... The last car that I bought (leased), the government fees came to $114.. It would be different for every state.. I don't know for certain that all $114 went for actual fees, but for that amount, I'm not going to worry about it..

    2) If you mean disposition fee, that is due when you turn the car back in? Those fees are set by the leasing company, not the dealer.. just like an acquisition fee.. Some banks have them and some don't.... not negotiable..

    Hello,

I've just decided to purchase a coupe and I was considering this layout:

    auto trans (wife requirement)
    premium
    perf. wheel package
    wood package
    trunk mat

that works out to a pricing report number of:
    MSRP $37,830
    Invoice $34,610

    - question:
I notice that many folks on this list are purchasing their vehicles close to invoice, but most of those vehicles have more options (navigation most prominently). Does including more options typically get the purchase price closer to invoice?

How flexible should one be with one's desired configuration to strike a deal?

I was not impressed by the nav system - but if a dealer would throw it in cheap, I'd get it ...

    thoughts ?

    thanks for your help.

Well - just found this site - very excited to reap the benefits! Anyway - with the new '07 model due out later this year which apparently will significantly change the look of the G35 - now under invoice a good price point to consider? Our local dealership in Kirkland, WA seems to have a ton of G35's on the lot - thinking below invoice is now the call? I'm looking at the RWD Sedan with the Premium B package. Invoice is $33,113.00. Shall I start bartering with a price below that and hold my ground?

I got a $100 over invoice deal, and that was combined with a decent value on my trade. I'm a happy camper.

I'm planning to lease an 06 g35 coupe sometime this month. I am wondering what the mf and RV should be for a 2 yr lease with 12,000 miles per year. I've heard different mf's from different dealers. I live in Wisconsin.

Also, is GAP insurance included standard in leases with Infiniti Financial Services? I don't want to have to pay extra for it.

    thanks

I am being quoted $36235 for a 2006 G35x premium c, nav, splash, and trunk mat. 1.95%financing... St. Louis, MO area... Any comments???

    Aloha,

I am leaning towards purchasing a G35 Coupe since it will be a second car and would not need to carry passengers in the back seat. However, in the back of my mind, I still think I should buy the sedan.

I would appreciate feedback on the handling/performance differences between the coupe and the sedan. Also any other comments I should consider in making my decision.

    Thanks.
    :)

I thought I would share my lease experience, hope others find it useful. I just signed a 2 year lease with 12,000 miles/yr, on an 06 coupe with premium package, trunk mats, splash guards. MSRP was $36,950. I got cap cost down to $34,000 (roughly 200 over invoice). RV was 70% and mf 0.0022. I had no trade in. Had to add $550 for bank fee onto the $34K. GAP insurance was included in the lease with IFS. Thanks to car man for helping out on the mf. Looking forward to driving my new car.

can anyone tell me what a REALLY good deal would be on an '06 G35x with Sunroof, painted guards and trunk mat? Also is it better to buy or lease?
  • bigred8bigred8 Member Posts: 8
is that deal still available? Was that on a G35x with sunroof, painted splash guards and trunk mat? Do you know if there is any way of getting around doc fees and shipping?

    Hi vinviper,

May you please tell me where in NJ you got ur car. I just moved to the NY/NJ area & I need advice as to where to go.

    cheers

how much would an '04 G35x with about 20k miles go for? Can't seem to find many. Does this dealer have pre-owned G35x's? If so, do you have a name and number of someone I can call?
  • treacheroustreacherous Member Posts: 22
Any '06 G35x deals in Washington state? Can I expect to pay near invoice or more here? Fife wanted 6% over invoice but no serious negitiation. That's obviously not gonna happen.
  • treacheroustreacherous Member Posts: 22
Anyone have an idea when '06 G35 production will end? Liquid platinum, X, C package, black leather, Nav...no where to be found in Northwest.

I am interested in buying a basic 2006 G35 sedan with no packages or other add-ons whatsoever. Has anyone here had any recent experience doing this? I neither need nor want anything in the packages. (Sure, I may get rubber mats or mud guards, but...)

    Thanks
  • cheerioboy26cheerioboy26 Member Posts: 412
There should be a couple more months of 06 production - the 07 sedan has not been unveiled at the NY Autoshow (mid-April I think) so it won't be on sale before September.

I am trying to find whether there is any 05 G35x sedan left in NJ. This is the first time to shop for a car by myself. Where can I find it? Is there any website to go to? Do you just call dealer one by one? I saw some dealers have 05 model listed on their website, but by the time I called, they always said it had been sold. Is this a trick? Thanks.

Hi Ive been looking into Infiniti G35's Coupe for a while now and I am very close in considering to buy myself one. Im hoping to get the 6MT with the premium package upgrade. In all I want to get the car for a reasonbly good price. I live in SoCal and I am wondering if anyone has any recomendations or can refer me to any dealership in Southern California that has a good reputation with its customers and works well at satisfying the customer with a good cost. If u know of any good quotes that are out there let me know how much and where.

Well... think I'm gonna try for a deal tomorrow. '06 G35x/C/Nav/splash guards/trunk mat & full spare.

Looks like with holdback factored in I need to start out at 34,957. Anyone else start this low with above configured options?
  • lefty33lefty33 Member Posts: 2
Yes, you were had. $2,500 down the drain.

Kirkland, WA dealership does have a lot of G35's on their lot. Looks like best they will do is 4% over invoice. Hopefully more agessive towards summer....

Had a very bad experience of Salerno of Summit, they breached contract of sale and am considering suing them b/c they exercised such bad faith they refused to even talk to us when all we were asking was for them to honor their agreement with us.

I'm interested in the same setup as you... The initial quote I received from a dealership in San Diego is 34,892.00 + Fees (invoice +destination chg = $34,190). This was received via email and is high in my opinion.

Hey guys just wanted to share the deal I got in northern NJ. I went into the dealership just to look, but the saleman was excellent and I got a great deal so pickup a 2006 g35x. Went with a 24month lease. Here are the details

2006 G35x with Premium C, Navigation, Painted splash guards, and trunkmat.

    MSRP: 39,400
    Invoice(According to Edmunds): 36,035
    Selling price: 35,850
    Money Factor: 0.00126
    Residual: 69% with 12k miles a year
$1500 total out of pocket including 1st payment
    $450/month

I thought it was a great deal. The haggling process took no more that 10 minutes, I actually thought I was gettin ripped off somehow because everything was way too easy. The salesman actually showed me all these numbers including invoice, residual, and money factor. He told me I looked like an informed buyer and he didnt want to BS me

Just purchased a 2004 G35 with 11500 miles for 25K - hope it was a good deal? Traded in a 1993 BMW 325i. Love the G35 - sporty looks, great horsepower and very comfortable, user-friendly interior.

Do I have to register with an Infiniti dealer for the remaining warranty?

    Thanks in advance.
  • kyfdxkyfdx Moderator Posts: 267,403
Look in the owner's manual.. There may be a mail-in card attached, where you can register with Infiniti as a new owner... If not, I'm sure you could stop by the dealer.

It isn't required for the warranty, but if you register, they can contact you for any possible recalls, etc..

That would probably depend on the warranty that came with the purchase. Were you sold a paint seal to protect the paint from environmental damage and then also sold the paint film to protect from the rock chips? Both products work well and should provide you a 3 to 5 year warranty to cover any damage that might happen even with the products. It will be up to you to make use of the warranties if the products don't work for you. For us who are a bit anal re: our paint and interior the products are well worth the money.
  • mwhittmwhitt Member Posts: 69
Yes you paid above the market value for the packages. I think you probably could have gotten a clear bra on the paint for less than a $1000 from an outside dealer.

However, if they work, particularly the paint protection, you won't regret it. I didn't do it and am particularly disappointed with the LOUSY PAINT FINISH on this car. The paint itself (Lakeshore Slate) is beautiful. I get a lot of compliments, but I'm concerned if i will have any left on it in 2 years. The number of chips I have on this car (3 months old) is greater than the number on my 10 year old Ford Explorer.

to anybody who buys this car, if you care about your paint finish, get an after-market clear bra. i don't do gravel road driving - only highway, but it still is beating up.

I wonder if incentives will be extended for April? Sedan sales have been consistently down since October '05 from the previous year. Hopefully this helps those of us looking for some good deals.

this is GREAT information. I have been looking at an '06 G35x base and the lowest price I could get was $31,800. I really don't want to go new. The best used price I can find is $25,999 for an '04. Is there a big difference in the vehicles from '04 to '06? Would it be best to hold off for the'07's or wait for the '06 left-overs? Based on these sales figures, there will be plenty of them.
  • bigred8bigred8 Member Posts: 8
I have an opportunity to purchase an '05 G35 6MT premium package, NAV for $28,800. Is that an awesome deal?
  • treacheroustreacherous Member Posts: 22
I want to go with a new fully loaded '06 G35x. Seeing these sales figures and a new model for the fall....it's hard to imagine a person couldn't get near invoice. They still make 800 or 900 in holdback anyways.
  • bigred8bigred8 Member Posts: 8
I am going to check out an '04 G35x tomorrow for $25,999. It's probably not a stellar deal but not a bad one either. Even though I am intrigued about the '07's, I don't want to spend $32, $33k. What do you think of the '04 price?

Got the quote for $35.5K no doc fees just 6% additional sales tax, tag and title from Satellite Blvd Infiniti and Marietta Nalley Infinite My wife and I drove the car at Satellite Blvd and we both loved it. It had superb handling better than Acura TL and Subaru Legacy. Very smooth ride with no noise like we discovered in Subaru. We found G35 interior far better than Acura TL. It was a difficult decision and we went with Acura TL. Made the decision on these factors: price, mileage (MPG), resale value, and company history in quality. My wife had the power in making the decision :) If I would be single then I would have gone with G35 because of better driving experience. Got TL with Auto and Nav for $32.8K + 400$ doc fees. You can negotiate down with no doc fees, but then you do not get the quality service you would want when you buy a car like this. Additionally, I know what these sales guys make per car because I have couple friends in this fields.
