I apologize in advance for the newbie comment, but I've never leased a car. I have a 2015 E350 wagon on order, and had planned to finance it at 1.9%/72 mos but trying to investigate whether leasing would be cost advantageous because of the added cash flow in the first few years. Here are the numbers I have to work with - can I get an idea of what a 36 or 48 month, 10k/year lease would look like with this info?
MSRP: $76,690
Negotiated price: $65,996
Mileage: 10.000/year
Term: 36 or 48 mos
$ down: as little as possible
Credit: should be Tier 1 (800+ FICOs)
Taxes: 9% (California)
If there are too many variables, I'd appreciate any insights you could share on likely money factor, lowest cash I could put down, and the residual on the E350 wagon.
Thanks.
Hi. I'm also looking at E350 Wagon in California. Who was the dealer that offered this discount? Thanks
Found the E400 sedan we like and was going to lease for 36 mon 15k year, but are now thinking maybe only 24 mon. Can I get the MF and residual for 24mon 15k miles pls. Thanks

Can you tell me the Feb 2015 Tier 1 MF on a 2015 E-400 Coupe 4MATIC 36 month lease please?
Also, I have the Residual as 60% for 10k miles per year, correct?
Two more things: is there any dealer money this month (are they getting any help, and/or any loyalty incentive besides the 3-month pull-forward on an existing lease)
Finally, what's average holdback these days for MB, 3%? more?

.00128 and 60% for 36/10.
I don't see any dealer money; the pull ahead program exists for up to 4 months of remaining lease payments.
Thanks much, really appreciated. So is that MF the buy rate for the best credit (FICO 800+)? Is there any other incentive if you are a current MB lease holder?

Been shopping for E 350 rwd sedan. With interested features, the msrp is around 60,000. Targeting for selling price to be 54,000 and a down payment 3,000. Credit score gives Tier 1. 12K per year. What's the expected MF? Residual for 27 months versus 36? Los Angeles sales tax 9%. Hoping to have monthly payments including tax in the higher end the $500s (trying to avoid the 600s). Possible??

.00093 MF and 65% residual for 27mo, 12K/yr. 56% for 36/12
If the $3000 down all goes to CAP cost reduction, then the payment is $528/mo.+tax for 27 months, $562/mo.+tax for 36 months.
On top of the $3000, you'll have $795 acquisition fee and about $600 title/registration fees.
Has anyone used fleet pricing when purchasing their E class? Is the additional fleet incentive off of the invoice? With my current employer i am seeing an additional 3500 off.
Hi, are these numbers ok for 27-month 12k/yr lease of a 2015 RWD E-350? MSRP: $59770 Final price: $50129 Residual: $40461 (69%) MF: 0.00131 Drive off fees: $1373 Lease Payment: $533 or $576 including tax (8%) The only way I can redo these numbers is when I roll the $1373 plus another $80 or so for title/doc fee into the lease, so only payment due on signing should be the first month lease payment. Correct?
PS: I am about 7K miles below my allowance on the 24-mo old E-350 I'm returning. Should I ask for more discount based on that?

My numbers agree, except I show the residual as 65%, not 69%..
So, can't really comment on the rest of the deal, considering that discrepancy. Doubtful that you'll have any equity in a 24 month lease, even with lower miles, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

Sorry I got confused. Do you mean the standard residual on this car for 27m/12k lease should be 65%? Thanks!

Yes.. 27mo, 12K/yr residual on a 2015 E350 is 65%.
Yes.. 27mo, 12K/yr residual on a 2015 E350 is 65%.
Thanks! Yes, they also noted they made a mistake, but their new numbers are even more out of whack!
For 2015, RWD E-350: Option 1: 24m/12K/65% Residual or $39388/MF 0.00113/MSRP: $59770/LEASE PRICE: $50444/$643.18 with 8% sales tax = $694.63 (drive off fees $1235.63) Option 2: 36m/12K/56% Residual or $31017/MF 0.00113/MSRP: $59770/LEASE PRICE: $50444/$611.59 with 8% sales tax = $660.52 (drive off fees $1201.52).
I haven't seen 24m lease here, and the 65% residual seems to be for 27mo/12k, so that's one thing, but even with these numbers my calculations come out much lower, $562.19 plus $44.98 tax for total of $607.27 assuming that we pay $1235.63 on the day of lease (or $615.07 plus $49.21 tax for total of $664.28 assuming we roll the $1235.63 into the lease). For 36m lease, they are saying residual is 56% but the dollar number is much lower, like 52%... I'm not sure why they are making it so confusing...
Can you confirm: - If there is even a 24m/12k lease program for E-350 and if so, what are the residuals/MF? - What is the residual on 36m/12k lease for this car? I think I've seen both 56% and 58% in previous posts so I got a bit confused.

When Mercedes Finance runs a 27 month lease special, they use the terms of the 24 month lease... same residual. I would guess in going back and forth, that they lost track of that... No one would write a 24 month lease on this model with the 27 month special available ..
Your money factors are marked up from the base .00093. I'm going to guess that your CAP cost is higher than that $50,444, as well.. What about acquisition fee, etc? Your drive off is not enough to cover 1st payment, acquisition fee and title/registration, I don't think.
Use these numbers as your base..
27/12: .00093 MF and 65% residual. MSRP/CAP as shown above: $512/mo.+tax 36/12: .00093 MF and 56% residual. MSRP/CAP as shown above: $549/mo.+tax
With MF markup to .00113: $530+tax and $566+tax
Additions to selling price? Once you have the actual CAP COST they are using on this deal, Add $38/mo. per $1000 additional to the 27 month lease and $29/mo.per $1000 to the 36 month lease.
E Class MSRP 63,280, Cap Cost 56,780, Residual 32,821, Money Factor .00109, 36 months, 18K per year for miles, no money out of pocket. $899 per month all in. CT tax is 6.35
M Class MSRP 60,750, Cap Cost 57,175, Residual 30,780, Money Factor .00141, 36 months, 18K per years for miles no money out of pocket. $1009 per month all in. CT tax is 6.35
KYFDX, a very belated thanks so much for your help and response! Those ballpark numbers are very helpful. I ended up financing the car because I plan to keep it a while and 1.6% with nothing down was practically free money.
Re the price for my ordered wagon, the negotiated price included a $3,500 fleet discount through the ABA. Without that, I think the price was around 8-9% off of MSRP. I worked with Dez at MB of Long Beach and he was a straight shooter - no games or BS. I'd highly recommend touching base with him if you have not found a wagon yet.

Are these good deals?
Money factors are marked up in both case.. base MF is .00089 and .00111 for those two models. Hard to comment on pricing, as I'm not sure how they handle the extra 9K miles over a standard lease, but given the money factor markup, I'd guess other charges are marked up, as well.
