KYFDX, a very belated thanks so much for your help and response! Those ballpark numbers are very helpful. I ended up financing the car because I plan to keep it a while and 1.6% with nothing down was practically free money.
Re the price for my ordered wagon, the negotiated price included a $3,500 fleet discount through the ABA. Without that, I think the price was around 8-9% off of MSRP. I worked with Dez at MB of Long Beach and he was a straight shooter - no games or BS. I'd highly recommend touching base with him if you have not found a wagon yet.
When Mercedes Finance runs a 27 month lease special, they use the terms of the 24 month lease... same residual. I would guess in going back and forth, that they lost track of that... No one would write a 24 month lease on this model with the 27 month special available ..
Your money factors are marked up from the base .00093. I'm going to guess that your CAP cost is higher than that $50,444, as well.. What about acquisition fee, etc? Your drive off is not enough to cover 1st payment, acquisition fee and title/registration, I don't think.
Use these numbers as your base..
27/12: .00093 MF and 65% residual. MSRP/CAP as shown above: $512/mo.+tax 36/12: .00093 MF and 56% residual. MSRP/CAP as shown above: $549/mo.+tax
With MF markup to .00113: $530+tax and $566+tax
Additions to selling price? Once you have the actual CAP COST they are using on this deal, Add $38/mo. per $1000 additional to the 27 month lease and $29/mo.per $1000 to the 36 month lease.
You were spot on as always! They are adding $1095 acquisition fee to the CAP costs plus the marked up MF, and they said that's the only place they can make some money over this deal as they are giving around $9.5k off the MSRP on this car. Maybe I'll ask them to either use the marked up MF with $795 acquisition fee or their marked up acquisition fee with the base MF but not the both... Just curious how common these mark-ups are? Also do people usually roll the acquisition fee into the lease or pay it with the rest of drive off fees? Thanks!
Hi, this is my first time here and I want to thank everyone in advance. I am looking to buy my mother an 2015 E350 and want to figure out the best setup for the lease. Can I get the MF and residual numbers for this car with 10K and 12K miles? It will help me have a baseline to know how much they are going to try and mark things up.
First let me start by saying I’m so glad that I found this forum. I have been wrecking by brain researching and trying to determine the best course of action to lease my first Mercedes☺
Ok now down to business.
I live in Ohio and I am looking at leasing a E350 Sedan 4Matic with an MSRP of $66,515. This includes the Premium Package. I have a few questions.
1.) Can you provide me the MF and Residuals (Tier 1). 24 mos/15k 27 mos/15k 36 mos/15k
2.) What is the best price I could negotiate with a dealer? (Most Reasonable Price)☺ At minimum, should I get 15% off the MSRP? In this case it would be $56,537.75.
3.) I do not plan to put any money down. Can you tell me what costs I will have to cover once we come to terms on a deal? (Tax, Title, etc.)
4.) Can you provide a payment break down using the 15% off price?
5.) Lastly, what negotiation approach do you recommend? Go to the dealer or send an email to the dealer providing the numbers I’m looking for?

1) .00089 MF and 63% residual for 24 or 27 months .00089 MF and 54% residual for 36 months.
2) No idea... read back a few pages and see what others are negotiating.
3) $795 acq.fee (possibly marked up to $1095), $250 doc fee (max in Ohio.. almost all Ohio dealers charge this). Title/registration fees ($200?). Tax.. Ohio taxes the sum of payments, upfront. You can/should roll all of these charges into the CAP cost, so that they are included in the monthly payment, except for the doc and title fees..
4) On a 27 month lease, you'd be at $630/mo. plus all of the extras in #3. 36 month payment would be $655. Add in $795 plus 7% tax and you'd be at $706/mo. or $725/mo.
5) Whatever works for you... Every person and every dealer are different.
1) Should I get the MB maintenance plan? Is it worth it? 2) Any idea what gap insurance would go for? Is it better to go through dealer or my insurance company?

I'm looking to find the MF and RV for 2015 E400 coupe and cabriolet. Your help is appreciated :-)
Another question is, what are the requirements to get the best MF, and is it up to the discretion of the dealer ? I have a relatively short credit history; but I've been able to get very good offers from BMW for instance because I work for one top software engineering firms in the U.S. One MB dealer told me I can't get TIER A because of my short credit history.

I put money down and ordered a 2016 E250D at my local dealer. It'll be in production later the month and now I see the redesign for 2017 will be significant. I used USAA pricing to get a 77K car for 70K. I was planning on buying outright, but now think I may want to lease. I typically hold my cars for about 7 years driving only about 8K miles/year. Would I be better to lease for 2 or 3 years or be better financially to purchase? I can also keep driving my low mileage 2008 Acura until the new model comes out.
Suggestions or thoughts?
I'm in MO if that makes a hill of beans difference.

If you want the new 2017 model, just keep driving the Acura until it comes out.. Any short-term lease is going to be expensive.
If you normally keep your cars for 7-8 years and only 50K-60K miles, then leasing is not for you..
Thanks for the response kyfdx. It'll be 18 months until the new model will arrive and I really would prefer to wait until late in the first year so that the bugs will be worked out if any arise. I think that I will likely just purchase and enjoy it for about 6 years until something really tickles my fancy.
2015 E350 Northern CA dealer. Best quote that I received in So CA is about $10 less each month for same MSRP.
MSRP: $60740 Sale Price: $51680 Term: 27mo/10k annual miles Residual: $40088 (66%) NO Cap Reduction MF: 0.00083 (with autopay) Monthly Payment: $551 (including taxes) Out-the-Door: $2307 ($1095 acquisition fee, first month payment, tax & license).
I turned in a 2012 E350 in January and both the Jan & Feb deals were poor so I decided not to lease at a new vehicle at that time. You get a 60 days courtesy period from MBFS to rebate back the $595 turn in fee if you lease another vehicle.
Hi - There doesn't seem to be a lot of information on the new 2015 E400 Class (former E550.) My dealer called me and told me I qualify for their "payment forgiveness program" (still have 8 months remaining on my current lease and they waive them all.)
I am looking to get the MF and Residual on lease for a 24 and 27 month 2015 E400 4matic sedan. I am also wondering what types of discounts folks are seeing off the MSRP? Can you get 15% like many have on the new C300's? Finally, in addition to the $3,000.00 cash April bonus, are there other incentives available? Thank you.

If there are any mid-month updates to the numbers, we won't have them.
My current lease is coming to an end and i was asking my current dealer for numbers and i don't feel he was taking me seriously. I am interested in a 2015 E400 coupe with an MSRP of 65,070 and he said he took 6k off the msrp so a sales price of 59,070. He was saying my payment would be $828 a month with nothing out of pocket up front. Im in NY and i am assuming that would include taxes. Can you please tell me what payment you get with these numbers for a 27 month and 36 month lease both with 10k miles a year? Thank you!

Switching to 12K miles increases the residual by 2% and the payment drops to $650.57/mo
Base MF and acquisition fee are being used; only way to sweeten the deal is to use AutoPay (drops MF by .0001) or to get a lower selling price.
