CR Bottom Line Price is a joke, you would end up paying way above what others pay. I did the same mistake, wasted my $40.

I have check the price of Pilot 2007 LX for a week. Today, I got a final quote of $23,000 for the gray LX 2WD, including Tax, title and dealer fee. (no option included)
I intend to come back tomorrow.
Do you think it is a reasonable price?
    I am in Orlando, Fl.
    Thanks,
    Hnguyen

What was the sale price? I've gotten quotes anywhere from $21,000-$22,800 for an LX 2WD + TTL in the midwest. These models are very hard to locate now unless you're not picky about color. This model in the midwest priced around $21,000 would have an OTD around $22,800 but it really depends on your state sales tax % and registration fees.
  • marlynnmarlynn Member Posts: 11
Tell the dealership that you will pay taxes and registration in your home state. For about $10 they will give you a drive away sticker that is good for about 7-10 days. Gives you time to drive the vehicle home and to register it with your state DMV and pay the applicable taxes. You should be able to call the DMV in your county and tell the sale price, year, make and model of the vehicle and they will give you a pretty good estimate of the fees/taxes you will have to pay to your state.

You SHOULD NOT pay any taxes in Tulsa, OK.

I bought a 2007 Black LX AWD (basic option) for $2,2250, including tax, title and dealer fee, 6.25% APR, in Atlanta, GA
  • buypilot1buypilot1 Member Posts: 10
Wow 22250 is really low. What is the price before TTL? What dealer? Can you refer me?

I've negotiated 28955 OTD on a black EX-L, with a towing package ($500, usually $1000 per dealer). This is with a dealer in northern Maryland. My search has been focused on the Maryland/DC/VA area. Any input on price negotiated before I close the deal tonight would be appreciated!

I bought 2007 EX-L AWD for 28167 OTD in last month.
    Here is a breakup.
    Sale price - 26200
    Tax - 6% - 1572
    Document fee - 395

Sale price (26200)was calculated based on Invoice price (30697 - 3500 Dealer to Cash Incentives - 997 Dealer Hold back).

I guess you did mention towing package price - $500. So if you minus $500 from 28955 become 28455. You did not mention it is 4WD or 2WD? if it is 2 WD then you should get it try to get it 27200 including towing package OTD. This is my estimate. But if inventory at dealer is not too much then it will be hard to get near to this price.

    Hello,
Which dealership did you purchase from? Did your Pilot come with a DVD player?
How do you go about getting different quotes from different dealers? I'm interested in leasing or buying a 2007 or 08 pilot.

    Thanks,
    andrusemily
  • rinjacrinjac Member Posts: 7
I bought my pilot from Curry Honda. It is a black LX 4WD with basic options, no DVD player.
You can send Alan Rachal an email via arachal@curryhondaga.com to quote.
  • rinjacrinjac Member Posts: 7
The price before TTL is $20,500.
I bought it from Curry Honda, Atlanta, GA

There are no 07 models available in dallas area. so i am thinking to buy one available in tulsa, OK. Dealer said i need to pay TTL in texas. Title and License can be done at local county collector's office. Can any please tell me where to pay the tax?

I almost waited too long, but just picked up a 07 awd Ex-l RES for $28642 in NJ. I got the same price, within $50 from 3 dealers who had the color combo that I wanted. OTD with 7% NJ tax = $30646. The 3 dealers were VIP-S.Plainfield; Clinton and Paramus. I also checked Joyce - Denville, Route 23 and Planet (Rt 22) - who quoted $1000 higher. I have to say that the sales experience, most done by email, telephone and fax was fine until actually having to come to the dealer to sign the papers and pick up the car. Different forum, different post.

I want to thank everyone on this board for posting their prices. It really helped me with my 2007 Honda Pilot EX 4WD. My OTD price was $25,300. The price includes everything including the VA tax of 3.2%.

    I hope these numbers help.

Good luck there are not many 07's left.

    :)

Got this quote in the Sacramento area. No bells or whistles. It seems like other areas are getting better deals so just wanted to check and see if I should try to go lower.

    Thanks for your input.

    vaboater,

Which dealership did you buy your pilot from and whom did you deal with please. Thanks.
  • vaboatervaboater Member Posts: 4
    It was Landmark Honda.

I had a PHAM-tastic experience with the salesman and overall purchase.

Good luck I think they had 4 07's left yesterday when I finished up the paperwork.

    ;)

Has anyone purchased a 2008 Pilot yet?
  • zegzeg Member Posts: 7
In MD, 07 LX AWD is around $24000 (bit higher than Edmunds listing) with Freight, AWD EX-L around $28000 with Freight. I was told $1200 separate between 2WD and 4WD, about $1000 for dealer One might still find quite a few choices in Tysons Honda, elsewhere mostly 2WD left. Very happy with different dealerships in areas, painless, did not experience any ignorance like what I used to experience for the brand for quite a long time.

I was also told not much changed for 2008, except $4-500 more
  • sizeysizey Member Posts: 4
I called Curry Honda and Alan Rachal does not work there any longer.

carsearch9, you better hurry. I found my best deal at Steve Baily Honda in OKC, which is closer to you than Tulsa. They only have a few 07's left. It was the best car buying experience of my life, PERIOD. I was on the phone for 10 minutes offering $27,200 for a Nimbus Gray (our favorite and their last 07 EXL AWD)w/ several dealer options. The worst part was the 2 hour drive. Took 15 minutes running the credit card and signing papers and we were out of there. They had it sitting INSIDE of course fully gassed & freshly detailed.

I will definitely buy from them again. My next best price was from Bob Howard in OKC for 27499 (or close to that) w/ no dealer accessories & probably a processing fee. My 27,200 was OTD at Baily. In OK we don't pay tax at the dealer so I will have to pay $880 in OK sales tax for a total of $28,080.

The car already had SS side steps, pin stripes w/ side reflector, wheel locks, splash guards, floor mats & cargo net. I'm not sure which of that stuff is standard but I know some didn't have the side steps and pin striping or locks..

Last October Honda dropped the mf on new Pilot leases to .0004. What do you think are the chances it will do a similar reduction this year to promote sales? Also, are dealer documentation fees negotiable?

I'm getting ready to buy a 2008 EXL AWD with Navigation In PA. Lowest price I have right now is 32600 includes destination but need to add state tax at 6% plus tags. Still working on prices. Sticker on 2008 is 36240.

Not many 2007's around. It appears 2007's were going for approx 6000 under the sticker price. 2008's are not being discounted so heavliy yet. Hoping for a labor Day weekend sale to help me.

    Hi,

    I bought my 07 Pilot EX-L without Navi/Res for 26200- + desti, taxes etc. Email to meetraaj@yahoo.com.

I can refer to a dealer in Maryland whom i know well and they can give you for this price. They have 2-3 2007 pilots left out.
  • area123area123 Member Posts: 22
that is a good deal if it was an AWD and you have low taxes and no dealer fees.

My 07 EXL AWD was 27,200 OTD minus taxes in OK will be about $800. It included about $800 in dealer accessories. Dealer was great and had a few 07's left, Steve Baily Honda in OKC.

Did anyone recently purchase a 2007 Honda Pilot EX (2WD or 4WD) or EX-L (2WD or 4WD) in Southern CA? If so, can you post the dealership name and price paid for the vehicle?
  • megankpmegankp Member Posts: 17
Can anyone give me some advice for the 2007 Honda Pilot EX 4WD? Is this a good price?

    Norm Reeves: $24,779 + TTL
    Honda World: $24,330 + TTL
  • iwbr99iwbr99 Member Posts: 8
Honda World is about $7200 below the MSRP and about $4300 below the Invoice. It is a good price. What color is it? I was at Honda World a on July 6 and they did not have these prices. Norm Reeves Huntington Beach tried to play games so I walked away and drove over to Honda World. Saty away from the Honda dealer on Hawthorne.

Please post the OTD price if you buy it, I want to know how much they charge fpr Docs and other stuff.
  • fangqinfangqin Member Posts: 7
Paid $24,195 + TTL on 7/7/07 from Colonial Honda in Glendale. Wheel locks and splash guards were included.

I am looking to purchase in NC in the next couple of weeks this vehicle. Dealers are telling me $27,800 and $27,900 but reading some of these posts I think I am getting ripped off.

Anyone know of a better deal? Thanks!
  • area123area123 Member Posts: 22
You are definitely not getting ripped off, that is about $5000 or more off MSRP. I paid 27,200 this week for the same car. The people on here paying 23-25k are not getting the top of the line model like you are. The ex-l adds about 2500 to the AWD model. Go into the dealer and offer them $500-$700 less and they will take. It will be gone soon, there aren't many EXL AWD 07s left.
  • ksheradenksheraden Member Posts: 1
Thanks for the input. I am going to try it. I just told the one guy if he could do $27,200 to call me. Hope it works!

    Thanks!

Hi, I am in NJ, LOOKING FOR 2007 EXL (4WD OR 2WD) with RES,most of dealers are saying no Inventory. could some one pl let me know, if you know any dealer have Inv...
And what could be the Best price
  • chumpynutschumpynuts Member Posts: 2
Check out Burns Honda in Cherry Hill on Route 73. Out of all the dealers who responded to me, they had the largest selection of 2007 Pilots as of three weeks ago but I'm pretty sure it's disappearing very quickly. They had offered me a EX-L 4wd without RES for about $26,600, destination included, which was pretty good. The sales person who helped me was Brian. Best of luck.
  • gigsygigsy Member Posts: 2
I waited too long and all 2007 Honda Pilot EXL AWD vehicles where I live are sold out in my color choice, but I bought a brand new 08 today at Castle Honda in Chicago for $30,000(destination charge included.) Not a fantastic deal, but the lowest deal in all of Wisconsin and Illinois. I love my new car!
  • easyautoeasyauto Member Posts: 1
I was looking for a '07 Pilot in NJ, but only found a few "demo" models. I ended up buying a '08 for $500 below invoice. Given 08 models are identical to 07's, maybe I should wait for more discount on them. Any thoughts? :confuse:
  • megankpmegankp Member Posts: 17
Thanks iwbr99 and fangqin for responding to my posting. The color I am looking at is the Aberdeen Green Metallic for this particular vehicle. I will post the price once I purchase the vehicle.
  • batrachianbatrachian Member Posts: 13
    LX 2WD $21888 (w/o destination charge) + TTL
    EX 2WD $23920 (w/ destination charge) + TTL

Are they good prices? Also, where do you guys look up for MSRP and invoice price? Honda website not only has price for 2008 pilot. Thanks.
  • batrachianbatrachian Member Posts: 13
Did you guys get finance from honda for 6.XX%? Should I find my own finance from place like e-loan or just walk over to the dealer and have them find me one?
  • homerj227homerj227 Member Posts: 21
There is no harm at all going w/ a check from capital one w/ the 5.99% financing locked up before you go (they lowered 36 months this weekend to 5.99%, up to 6 months is still 6.35%). Going to the dealer opens you up to vulnerability since they may not get you the same rate and you still may want the car that day, etc.
  • maadgyal69maadgyal69 Member Posts: 1
I purchased the 2WD but I don't know how to check the accumulated mileage on it? Do you know how to?
  • chennachenna Member Posts: 5
Hi, I check with them(Burns Honda in Cherry Hill on Route 73), and they don't have any more Pilots(2007), thank you for ur post.
  • 1hhead1hhead Member Posts: 18
Not sure this will help emsteff who posted this thread, but just paid $26,400 including destination with a newer trade vehicle in the deal that was at Blue Book "Average" condition. Hopefully, this gives folks an apples to apples comparison. It was the last 07 they had though so as for the $3500 marketing incentive to dealers, after Labor Day, "...they're gone!"
  • canadianpilotcanadianpilot Member Posts: 7
Just picked up an Honda Pilot 4x4 EX-L in nimbus grey (the colour I wanted) in Southern CA. Paid 27,600 which included everything and a whole bunch of goodies. I'm having it shipped from CA to MN ($900 including insurance), becasue there were NONE in area... or surrounding states. So far the internet sales team has been awesome, I'll keep you posted when it arrives in about 2-3 weeks. I know they have a few more, but they are going fast.
  • canadianpilotcanadianpilot Member Posts: 7
I should mention I didn't have to pay state tax in CA, because it's being shipped out of state.
  • coasterbobcoasterbob Member Posts: 32
Hi, did you make your purchase in person, or online/phone? I can't find the Pilot I want (2007 EX-L, 4WD Black/Tan), anywhere near me (S. Jersey). I was wondering how to go about making an out-of-state purchase, if this vehicle is available ANYWHERE???? thanks, Bob
  • gigsygigsy Member Posts: 2
Just bought my Pilot, then received a call from O'Hare Honda that they could have sold me one for $29,700 out the door and matched the 5.9% financing I received at Castle, in case anyone in the area is in the market for a new Pilot...
