2015 Dodge Durango Lease Questions

Yes it includes Tax. Although that is what I am told I don't have proof to know for sure They thus far are the cheapest of any dealer I have talked to. I know where I am with a dealer that is offering me the same car at 509 with the same our of pocket. What would be the downside if I went with the dealer 12 dollars less? I am suspicious too by the way.

Okay.. I am confused. Officially. Here is the detail. The Dodge Durango RT MSRP is 46970, dealer discount of 4755 making vehicle price 42215, $35 DMV Fees, $250 Doc Fee, Tax is $3397.20 (Confusing as my county is 7.5% but he said something about that being retail tax value) Delivered price $45897.70, Rebate $5500, Unpaid balance of 40,397.70. Residual Value of 230153.30 and MF through US bank of 10255 or 4.27 percent if I do that math correct. Love your feedback on this.

Ohio tax is charged on the sum of payments plus any upfront money (cap cost reduction, acq.fee, etc, if paid upfront). So, the rebate is probably taxed, as well... That tax can be capitalized (rolled into the payment), or collected at signing. Either way, the state gets their money upfront.

But, at 7.5%, that would only be around $1800-$2000... not $3400.

Thank you. So does 497 seem right with the the other detail. Regardless of how I calculate I come up with a higher Monthly. Thanks for your help. That 497x 36 month 12k miles.

Well... the MF starts with a decimal point, then two zeroes.. then some other numbers. Without that format, I can't calculate it.

It's likely that the numbers don't add up because the tax quoted is wrong, though it's likely correct when they put it in the computer.

The lease payment seems reasonable, if everything is rolled into the payment

Lol. Sorry.. They just finally provided the disclosure Worksheet. MSRP 46970, RV 23015.30 Tax Vase 16108*8 percent, selling price of 42215 + 1288.68 tax, AF $695 for an initial Cap cost of 44198, Title tags and Misc $350, $5500 incentive and 1500 OP. MF is 00110. They have a cap cost reduction tax of 512.25

Sorry. I don't mean to be a pest. I was hoping to wrap this up today. With the numbers above I am struggling coming to the quoted 497. any guidance is appreciated.

Using these numbers:
MSRP - $46,970
Net Cap - $38,698 (cap cost - $5500 incentive)
Residual - 49%
MF - .00110

I get $503.52/mo, or $6 more than the dealer quote.
