Update:
Went to the Dodge dealer and requested the RV of 53% on a 2015 Durango limited and salesman tells me it's residual is 41% because the year is almost over. They quoted me a price of 585.00 per month for a 36 month lease with 12000 miles.
Who controls what the RV is?

The bank does ... but, the dealer has multiple banks to choose from. We only have numbers from Chrysler Capital.

A lower residual may be coupled with higher incentives to make the deal equitable.

That MF isn't great, but if the residuals are high enough it might not matter.

Yep - there are times when the marketing folks completely discourage leasing on some models. Seems that is the case with the 2016 Durangos. Perhaps they are trying to get the rest of the 15's off the lot?

I'm also confused by the cash back offerings I am seeing. There is a $1250 offer, but also reference to a $5500 offer that I saw elsewhere.

No information on incentives.

I suspect the higher rebate is available for non Chrysler Capital leases.

Well, we're looking to factory order one. I can only hope the leasing improves when we take delivery. Otherwise we'll just finance it. Any info on the current financing rates?

We don't have that information for 2016 models.

36/12 numbers on the 2015 Durango Limited (AWD?) are .00003 and 50%.

I'm within .01 of the dealer quote - probably a rounding issue.

You pay tax on the rebate amount.

If you're comfortable with the selling price, looks like a good deal.

The $2500 is a factory to dealer incentive and won't be listed anywhere publicly.

Use the knowledge of that incentive to negotiate your best price.
