What monthly payment should I be targeting for? I'm in MN.
Thanks.
.00131 MF and 60% residual.
If you add the $925 acquistion fee for a CAP cost of $39725, payment is $399/mo.+tax
1st payment and title/registration/dealer fees due at signing.
Thanks. I just made the deal and ended up with $358/mo + tax. I got .00111 MF eventually. Not very good and I'm OK with that.
Plan to lease a 328i xDrive, 36/10000, this is what I got from local dealer, NYC area. The monthly payment I calculated is ~$420 assuming 60% RV and 0.000131 MF. Am I right? Can I do MSD in NY? Thanks for your help,
Mineral Grey Black dakota Premium Package Driver Assist package Cold Weather Navigation MSRP $48,150 124881 Selling price would be $39,200
Payment is $465 with first payment, dmv, and dealer fees up front.
MSDs are not allowed in NY.
Using your prices, I calculate a payment of $376/mo + tax.
Find out what the net cap cost is - if higher than the selling price, get the dealer to explain the difference.
Got another quote from dealer. MSRP $44195, Selling price is $37200, I guess it is not that good, what should I ask for $36000? in NYC area. Any comments are welcome and appreciated.

Depends on the lease term and how many miles per year you are looking for. That percentage is manually adjusted downward by .10-.25/mile for the miles on the unit in question.

I get $408/mo with your numbers (including tax), so I suspect the net cap cost is higher than the selling price you've shared. Have the dealer tell you what's been added.

36m/12k coming up with a monthly payment of $417.23 (NYC tax 8.875% included and acquisition fee) sound about right? No miles on this one.
My guess is the net cap cost is higher than the selling price - with those numbers I get $388/mo with tax.
I believe the $925 acquisition fee is part of the adjusted cap cost. These are calculations I made myself using a lease calculator. I'm getting $389.25 without acquisition fee being rolled in.

It seems like the residuals have gone down. When we leased our 2015 X1 we got 15k/39 with a 63% residual a year ago. Was hoping to see similar deals this year.
Am I correct in my understanding that a 2015 model with same lease terms would be 57% residual?

No 39 month lease promotions on the 3-series.
Residuals for 2015 models are 2% lower than 2016 models (for the 328i)
Thanks for the valuable info provided. Committed to below deal (I have to fly 400 miles to get this lightly optioned 328i, as all remaining 328i in my local area are heavily optioned):

i have the following deal offered to me on a used/executive car.
any feedback is greatly appreciated:
2015 328xi, premium, tech, driver assist, nav, lighting. the car is an executive car with low mileage and discounted ~22% off msrp
51,550 msrp 39,799 selling price 1,115 down covering first payment/lic/reg/doc fee of 395 2,800 down for 7 msd total drive off 3915 60% residual 0.00082 mf with 7 msds (0.00131 before msd) 36 mo/10k lease
i am told the residual will be further discounted to reflect current mileage on car, at a rate of $0.15/mile. apparently this rate will go up in january, set by bmwfs.
i calculate 336/mo, but i am probably doing something wrong, as the quote did make sense to me - what do you think? thanks in advance for all your help!

Yes the calculated residual is adjusted for the miles, but you're getting a great discount from sticker to compensate.
Hi! I have an offer from a dealer on a 2015 328. MSRP is 55,025. For a 36 month lease with 15k miles a year 599 a month including tax with 0 due at signing. I would need to pay 2500 to pay off my existing lease with 5 remaining payments and I'm over on miles. What do you think of this deal?

What is the selling price?
What state and tax rate?
Any other money due at signing other than the $2500?
Thanks for answering! Selling price is 47,860.00, MA 6%, no other money due at signing. I'm at my mileage as of today (45K miles). I figured it might be worth it to get a 2015 vs. waiting for a 2016.
I'm not sure what to do. It seems like a good deal but I'm wondering if I can get a similar deal in a couple of months with a 2016. This is the first time there has been no pull ahead program that I can use. I'm wondering if I should just wait. Just figured with today being the last day of the year the offers might be better. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Can't tell you what the new numbers will look like - could be better, could be worse.
And, I don't make decisions with other people's money.
Looking for some advice. I ordered my 340i on Oct 22 and it still in transit to the west coast. I am told that I still qualify for the rate and incentives in Oct but can not re-lock for the incentives and rates for Dec. I did re-apply for credit and I'm still being told I can not re-lock. If this true? It seems strange that I can still get the Oct incentives but can not re-lock or anything, its not like I signed anything other then a credit app. Any advice would be appreciated.

As I understand it, you can either choose to lock in the terms from when you ordered the car (October) or the terms for the month in which you take delivery (January, I presume). We don't yet have the January numbers, so I can't tell you if they will be better or worse than those from last October.

Current offer-- 6500 down (Cash Cap Reduction * This seems way too much) MSRP:43K Govt Charges: 370.27 Doc Fee: 80.00 Acq Fee: 925.00 Gross Cap Cost: 36893L Residual Vale: 23408 Net Cap Cost: 31,594.52 Monthly Payment (includes tax): 327.90$
Some info about the car..it is a CPO with over 6K Miles on it. How good is this deal? What is reasonable reducition for further negotiations? Warranty and oil are included. Dealer is making it seem like it is a once in a life time thing. Would buying out the vehicle at end of lease be worthwhile?

This is a used car, not a dealer demo or loaner vehicle? If so, we don't have any information on used car leases.
I would agree that $6500 cap reduction is way too much; we recommend $0, to be honest. That money is at risk if the car is stolen or totaled.

Thanks for replying--This is a Dealer Demo, not really a used car. I agree , it would be awful financially if car was stolen/totaled . Dealer won't drop the DP option in our initial bargaining phases, but is willing to make it less as long as the rest is carried over in monthly .. Just said I can do 2.5K and have my payments at 400$ + tax..With Zero Down I assume they'd want my monthly payments at 508.45$. Is this really that much better? We haven't dropped the cap cost or anything yet. This is for 36 months/10K, and I'm not even sure if asking for more mileage is a good idea, if I decide to purchase or lease another car with BMW later on..

If you add the $925 acquistion fee for a CAP cost of $39725, payment is $399/mo.+tax
