    Your kind assistance please...

Received the following quote from a dealer on
2016 A6 Premium Quattro with Summer of Audi Package

    54125 MSRP
    48125 CAP COST ( reflects 3500 discount/2500 rebates/conquest)
    2129 Va Sales Tax
    62 Tags/registration
    495 Dealer Fee
    695 Acquisition Fee
58% Residual (Audi Care adds 1% to 57%)
    .00086 MF
    7500/yr
    36 months
    $2k out of pocket
    $599 mo

Do these numbers look right? I'm assuming they've marked up the MF substantially. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

    Is this a July deal?

.00030 MF and 58% for 36/7.5K/yr without AudiCare
Unless this a Premium Plus? That residual is 1% lower.

I get around $589/mo, but I don't see the charge for AudiCare anywhere in there, so maybe that's the difference?

Also, the acquisition fee for Audi is $795, not $695.

Yes, meant to say 795 and Audi Care is included in the mix at 849. It is a Premium (not Plus). Thanks very much!

Your thoughts please on the recent 2016 A6 lease special for 2.0 Premium for advertised at $379 for 36 months (10,000 miles per year) with $4169 due on signing. Amount due at signing includes first month’s payment, capitalized cost reduction, and acquisition fee of $795. Excludes tax, title, license, registration, options, and fees. After $1,500* Bonus. $0 security deposit. Monthly lease payment based on MSRP of $47,125
Does it sound alright? They have two cars in stock with this MSRP.

    Thanks for your generous effort.

That's just an ad; you can probably do better with some decent negotiation.

And, we don't recommend making a capitalized cost reduction on a lease; if the car is stolen or totaled, you lose that money.

We don't have any TDI lease numbers; I thought Audi had suspended sales and leases of models with that engine?

Thoughts on the quote below for a premium plus list $53,900, discount, doc fee, Audi service and tax included: $47,000
    24M/10,000
    .00014/61%
    $1500 out the door
    $720/month

I get $600/mo with those numbers.

What is the adjusted cap cost, and what is included in that number if it's higher than the $47K price?

    .00030 and 53%.

You sure have been asking about a lot of different vehicles ... have you test driven any of these to see what you like?

I ask because if you are shopping a deal, that won't matter a whit if you don't like the car for the next 3 years.

    Hi,

Requesting MF/Residual for 2016 A6 Prestige 3.0T in SC but purchasing in FL (does that matter?) for:

    1) 12/24 and 36
    2) 15/24 and 36

Is there a term between 24 and 36 that may be a sweet spot? If so, please provide. Based on the information here I understand the residuals are low and it is pushing me toward a 5 series (where the residuals are much better but gah does that A6 look good).

Also what is the MSD situation with Audis? I've heard up to 9 at 0.00005 each.

I've read Audi Care may be included for a percent?

Thank you in advance. Once I have firm 5 series and A6 numbers from dealers I'll post them here.

    .00020 and 55% (24/15) or 48% (36/15). Add 2% for 12K

There is a 30 month term, but I think 36 months is the best term for Audi leases.

Yes, 5-series residuals are insanely high this month.

Yes, the MSD program is max 9 at .00005 discount each

Adding AudiCare adds 1% to the residual

    Am negotiating, in Texas, on a 2016 A6 3.0 Q. I have had them quote 36 and 42 mos . . . both with 10k miles per year . . . but with Audi care.

Can you please verify residuals and money factor and rebate (coming from a Mercedes if that makes a difference)?

I think I've gotten accurate residuals and marked up MF in my offers so far. They do (or did yesterday) have tax credits . . . but required a bunch of "dealer fees". With all those dealer fees, etc., perhaps I can get them to drop the MF.

    Thoughts?

    And thanks in advance.

    53% and .00020 for 36/12.

I get the exact same payment with those numbers - therefore, I assume the $4027.59 covers all your up front taxes and fees. You can choose to roll some of those into the payment to lower your out of pocket, but your payment will go up accordingly.

AutoNation ... loves to give you an incomplete picture when it comes to leases.

The tax amount is wrong - that is for a purchase. WA taxes a lease monthly. So, disregard that amount.

Second, no mention of the acquisition fee ($925).

Ask the dealer for the following:

    1. Adjusted cap cost
    2. Breakdown of the $3K/$4K/$5K up front monies. You only want to pay for fees and first payment; no cap reduction (down payment)

Is this FWD or Quattro? What trim level?

Pulled the trigger on 2016 A6 3.0 with Sport Package, Cold package, Bose upgrade, LED lights, weather mats, wheel locks and cargo net, $630 monthly payment for 36m/10k, 0 down, 1st payment out of pocket.Apparently there is a $3000 rebate if you coming from competitor like Acura (my case). If you are shopping in NY, talking to NY and LI dealers is a waste of time, no straight pricing over the phone, etc. I had no problem finding deals in NJ and Connecticut.

    Hello Michaell

Last time I was here it was Kyfdx who was providing all of the goodness. He (she?) was very helpful in fact the last two times I leased an A6. It looks like you have taken up the reins, and am doing a great job at it too.

I'm up again for another lease and was wondering if you would help me out? I am looking for the MF and residual on the following:

    2017 A6 Prestige
    2017 A6 Competition
    2017 S6 Premium Plus
    2017 S6 Prestige

I'll be doing a 36 months lease with 1,000 miles per month (12,000 per year). Also, does Audi still allow the dealer to bump up the residual by 1% with the purchase or Audi care?

Thanks for all your help. This is a really great service you provide!

    Hello

    There is a deal in the works for a 2016 A6 3.0T
    MSRP $53,256
With 3k down and a residual of .52 and 12k miles a year for 3 years. They are saying the APR is 3.9 with a payment of $660 a month. I converted the APR to MF 3.9/2400 = .001625

So I'm trying to understand where and how are you guys getting the MF? I'm kind of confused on how this works when someone ask for the MF on here every month and how do I know what is considered a "good" MF

The base money factor on this model from Audi Financial is .00006. They don't use APRs.
The residual is correct for the Premium Plus model.
If it's truly an AFS lease, and your credit is top tier, then they are marking up the money factor by a huge amount.

Ok thanks. Are all these money factors published somewhere? I'm interested in other Makes/Models just want an idea of how to get these numbers. Thanks
