The July numbers from Hyundai aren't quite yet available to us.

Hi Michaell, I'm not sure if you have the lease numbers available yet, but I am interested in the numbers for a 36 month / 15k miles lease on a 2015 Hyundai Sonata Limited with both tech and ultimate packages (not sure the packages matter). Which engine?

I don't see any adjustments from Hyundai for 18K per year, though I suspect they would either deduct 1-2% from the 15K residual OR deduct a fixed amount per extra mile (say, .10-.25 per).

I have been looking at the 2015 Sonata Limited with the 2.4L engine.

Thank you for the information. I appreciate all the help with the numbers. I've been shopping a few different vehicles (the Honda Accord EX-L is a possibility for me as well). If I decide on the Sonata, I will definitely ask them during the negotiations about the pricing for 18k miles.

Which engine? 2.4 or 2.0T?

2.4 please, I do not think this vehicle has the option of 2.0

Also, do you know if a Lease can be post dated? If I can make a deal this month with a new car dealer(Honda) for when my current lease expires(Hyundai), end of next month, would I be able to not have two car payments?

A dealer won't be able to make a deal using the current lease program without closing the deal by the expiration of that program.

Well I went to the Hyundai dealer and they convinced me on getting a 2015 Sonata. But before I did anything I want to get numbers here first.

Are they any numbers for a 2015 Sonata Limited with ultimate package? 36/15k.

Please provide RV and MF for 2015 Sonata SE Base Package 36/12 for the month of September. Also, can anyone provide input on what they think is a good deal on a stripped '15 Sonata SE with no options 36/12. I live in South Florida. Actual figures would be very helpful.

Does the MF and RV go up/down if you add packages (i.e. Premium Package) to the trim? For instance, if I were to get the 2015 Sonata Sport with Premium Package does the MF and RV hold at .00053 and 62% respectively? Thanks!

Yes, the addition of any packages does not change the MF or RV.

I'm not up on the differences between the trim levels and packages so can't tell you which way to go.

Something seems off ... when I plug your numbers into my spreadsheet, I get a pre-tax payment of $312.80. With 6% tax, the payment is $331.57.

Not sure how the dealer gets $388.98/mo with this information.

The dealership quoted me an outrageously high number... I tried to negotiate but they were being stubborn so I immediately walked out. Here are the numbers that they gave me:

MSRP: $31,095 (2015 Sonata Limited)

36 Months, 12k miles, $415 + CA Tax

I tried asking if they could do it for $27,592 because that was the TrueCar Value and they said TrueCar value does not apply to leases... and I told them that is the most ridiculous thing ever.

I did calculations on my own for a 2015 Sonata Limited ($31095) and I got $267.01 + Tax (TrueCar Value). I did (31905 * .60) = 18657. Then subtracted (27592 - 18657)/36 = 248.19. Then for MF, (27592 + 18657)*.00042 = 19.42. So adding all the decimals up, I got around $267.01 + tax. Am I doing the math wrong or is the dealer trying to cheat me out?

We don't know anything about the validity of TrueCar numbers .. have you checked Edmunds' Price Promise instead?
