Thanks. Just realised that my current visa is valid till 2017 ( not a permanent resident yet) and the dealer is now working on a 24 month numbers. Would you have the 24/10 numbers for 4matic. I am guessing it would work out slightly more expensive overall considering the fees and all would be same regardless whether it is 36 or 24
Same MF, but residual jumps to 61%. Probably a wash with the shorter term but less time to amortize the fees so yes, perhaps a bit more expensive overall.
He says wont got lower on the MF because it is a loaner?
It has 3,200 miles on it.
In New Jersey 1900 out of pocket including 1st month payment
.00099 MF and 51% residual. Of course, residual will be lowered to account for the present mileage.
Not sure that being a loaner has anything to do with the MF markup. A markup is a markup. Are you sure the $1000 is destination fee? I'd guess that is the acquisition fee (also marked up from $795).
It's hard to say how good a deal it is, because there is that giant discount from MSRP. But, if you could get the MF dropped to base and also the acquisition fee, it would lower the payment by $30/mo.
All that said, that's a pretty good payment for a $60K MSRP vehicle.
I received an offer on a 2015 ML350. MSRP $65,280 Sale Price: $56,885 DMV Fee: $47.00 Doc Fee: $200 Tax: $3,853.24 Maintenance: $1,475
27 Month: $902.86- month/$37,383 Residual 36 Month: $804.84- month/$34,045 Residual *15,000 miles per year
Monthly payment seems really high for an ML350. Any feedback?
Also, are the residual numbers inflated? If so, what should my payments be?
Residual numbers are set by the bank. They can't be altered by the dealer.
Your tax for a purchase in Ohio is not relevant for a lease. They throw a bunch of numbers at you, and then give you a lease payment, with no information on how they got there. Ohio does collect tax upfront on a lease, but it is based on the sum of payments, not on the selling price. I would ask for the net CAP cost.
The 36 month term is definitely the best. .00099 MF and 51% residual for 36mo, 15K/yr.
With just first payment and fees upfront, I get $725/mo.+tax.. Even though your discount seems big, this is an outgoing model and you might be able to do better on the sale price. I would shop around
One nice thing about Mercedes is that maintenance plan is residualized, which lowers the cost.
Here is another quote I received on a demo with miles. I have been very disappointed with the quotes that I have received, considering the vehicle is last years model and we are now into the MB Winter Month event.
$64,225 is the sticker price:
Lease would be as follows (3,500 Miles on the car):
24 months x 929 (includes Fairfield County taxes) 15k miles per year $2278 total @ signing (includes 1st payment, $995 bank acquisition fee and OH doc fee)
Or
36 months x $789 (included Fairfield County taxes) 15k miles per year $2125 total @ signing (includes 1st payment, $995 bank acquisition fee and OH doc fee)
Just got this pricing:
36/12 lease
MSRP: 60,515
Selling Price: 48,691
DMV Fees: 367
Doc Fees: 132
Destination Fee: 1,000
MF: .00129
Payment: 616
He says wont got lower on the MF because it is a loaner?
Could you please share the dealer details. Wondering if the dealer has more such vehicles

Not enough information to comment -
What is the negotiated selling price - or better yet, the net cap cost?
The 3500 miles should allow you to get a better price, but those same miles will be deducted from the calculated residual.
Residual: 53% at 12000 miles per year (But, the residual reduced to 52.375% due to the mileage)
Rate: .00089 with auto deduction
$556.64 per month with $3414.51 due at signing for 1st month, taxes, dmv, and fees.
In addition to this, the dealer asked 20 cent per mileage over 3,000. Thus, I need to pay 5890 (=8890-3000) x .20 = $1178. They said that MB Finance charges this fee.
1. I really like the deal itself although there is about 9,000 miles on the car. However, do I really have to pay the over mileage fee I did not use?
2. They also suggested a 4/40000 maintenance plan at the price of $22 per month. Is it worth?

Mercedes must have a limit for demo/loaner mileage.. Anything up to 3000 miles is covered by that residual reduction, but over that, it has to be paid upfront. It's really no different than if they further reduced the residual to account for those miles. Adding it to the CAP cost or reducing the residual has nearly the same effect. You have to assume that your discount is bigger that it would be, if it had less miles.
The overall deal looks pretty good. I'd roll that mileage fee into the CAP cost, rather than pay it upfront. Some dealers are able to residualize the maintenance plans, reducing the monthly cost. Ask your dealer if they can do that. I generally don't like buying maintenance plans, but $800 for three years on a Mercedes seems pretty cheap.
i understand this is a lease forum. I just have a quick question if someone can help answer. I recently got a ML350 financed and registered in NJ. I enquired about the registration charges and dealer first mentioned around $570 then changed it to around $800 saying NJ charges something called Luxury tax around $200
how can I check what he actual fees is considering it is a government fees.

It would be very unusual for a new car dealer to play around with government fees. The penalties are too great to risk the small amount of money they would clear.
NJ does have a luxury tax. I'm not sure exactly how it works, but it kicks in around $50K MSRP. What your dealer is telling you seems reasonable and likely.
Are the December programs out yet? Looking to lease an ML/GLE. Could you please provide MF for ML250/ML350 and GLE350/GLE300d, I prefer the 36 month lease with 7500 miles per year.

Caind. Try with MB north olmsted or mb ft mitchell i have leased 2 suv's ML350 and GL 350. Their price had way too much discount when compared to the local dealers in Columbus OH.
Thank you daddymaddy. I reached out to them and they have limited stock available. I agree, I have never had success with Crowne or Germain. I am looking to lease an ML or a CLS. I've been swamped at work and haven't had a whole lot of time to negotiate. I am in Columbus as well.
looks like there are still some ML350s and ML400s left in the Los Angeles area, maybe the best time to buy that car? You happen to have the numbers for 36k/3 year lease for those 2 models? Thanks.

We no longer have any lease numbers for the 2015 M-class.
