Can you please post Residual and MF on 2016 Maxima SR and Platinum, 36/12, in Kansas City.
Also, any idea if Nissan will be rolling out additional incentives closer to Christmas (mid-month)? Have they ever historically done this in the past?

That is correct. Nissan does not offer 10K leases except for the GT-R and one other vehicle, I think the 370Z. I talked with a staff member in the corporate division of NMAC and he had this verified with another senior staff member.

I'm sure there is math to support whatever payment they quote. If you can get all the numbers, the math is pretty straightforward.

Looks like his residuals are too high!  Shouldn't it be 53% and not 61% for 36/15??? 

Also, does anyone know if there is any lease cash available on the Maxima yet?

Yeah, those are the 24 month residuals. 36 month are 56%/55% for 12K/15K/yr

Good afternoon, I have not leased in a while and I am new to this message board. I am interested in a new Maxima SL. I live in Long Island, NY. I did some research on the MF and residuals and I get it at a high level. I am trying to put that into actual numbers to make sure I get a good deal when I go to a dealer, but need some help. I see sticker price is 37k, assuming it is negotiated down to 34K, for 12K/3 years what is a good price based on the current residuals? I feel like I get this, but my numbers are not adding up. Thanks for any help!

.00003 is the MF and the 36/12 residual is 56%.

Assuming $37K for the MSRP and $34k for the cap cost, I get a payment of $371/mo + tax.

To be clear, the residuals change from month to month and also depend on the state of purchase? Are there predictors on what they will be in future months? The higher the better, correct?

It depends on the manufacturer. Some update the residual and MF monthly, others update the residual only every quarter (Ford and Toyota do this).

However - and this is a very general statement, the residuals trend downward through the model year. Marketing may 'suggest' to the bank folks to prop up the residuals, however, to making lease payments more attractive.

Great! You have been very helpful and I understand it now. I didn't realize the MF varied so much from car to car and how some mark it up. At .00003 there is hardly any interest especially compared to the MF we discussed on the Jeep Wranglers..

I now have a Infiniti G37x with 4 months left at $344.00 p/m. The pull ahead program will waive 2 paymts and the dealer will absorb the other 2.

The deal is 36/12 at $336.42 ($309+tax $27.42)

You don't want 39 month numbers ... terrible.

36/15 - .00003 and 55%. Extra miles are charged up front at .15-.25 per mile and deducted from the calculated residual.

Current Nissan numbers are set to expire on 29 February 2016. Can't tell you if the numbers will get better, worse or stay the same next month.

I too get $465/mo with those numbers. If you're comfortable with the selling price, no reason not to pull the trigger.
