Hello, Can you please post Residual and MF on 2016 Maxima SR and Platinum, 36/12, in Kansas City. Also, any idea if Nissan will be rolling out additional incentives closer to Christmas (mid-month)? Have they ever historically done this in the past? Thanks, seasons greetings.

.00008 and 57%.
No information on incentives, or whether they may change during the month.
That is correct. Nissan does not offer 10K leases except for the GT-R and one other vehicle, I think the 370Z. I talked with a staff member in the corporate division of NMAC and he had this verified with another senior staff member.
Hello- I am looking for the residual and MF, 12K year on a 2016 Nissan Maxima Platinum in NY (Long Island) - along with any current incentives. Thanks.

Hi, Could I please have the Residual and MF for a 36 mo. 12k/yr and 36 mo. 15/yr lease on the 2016 Maxima 3.5 S (base model) ? In Southern California, looking to lease beginning of year. Thanks and happy new years to all.

Are the Jan numbers available? Looking for MF/Residual and Incentives for the SL model. Preference would be 36/10k but willing to change terms if there is a different sweet spot in 33, 39 months or different mileage.

.00003 MF and 54% residual for 36mo, 12K/yr (no 10K/yr for Nissan).
Money factor .00003 Residual 61% for 12k and 60% for 15k
36/15: 455/month 36/12 442/month
Thank you!
I get $389/mo plus tax for 36/15. Something seems off with the numbers.
I thought it seemed high as well. I plugged it into the Edmunds calculator and got $390 with tax. Do dealers sometimes make up the monthly payment number hoping consumer do not check themselves? Thanks for your help.

I'm sure there is math to support whatever payment they quote. If you can get all the numbers, the math is pretty straightforward.
Good afternoon, I have not leased in a while and I am new to this message board. I am interested in a new Maxima SL. I live in Long Island, NY. I did some research on the MF and residuals and I get it at a high level. I am trying to put that into actual numbers to make sure I get a good deal when I go to a dealer, but need some help. I see sticker price is 37k, assuming it is negotiated down to 34K, for 12K/3 years what is a good price based on the current residuals? I feel like I get this, but my numbers are not adding up. Thanks for any help!

.00003 is the MF and the 36/12 residual is 56%.
Assuming $37K for the MSRP and $34k for the cap cost, I get a payment of $371/mo + tax.
To be clear, the residuals change from month to month and also depend on the state of purchase? Are there predictors on what they will be in future months? The higher the better, correct?
To be clear, the residuals change from month to month and also depend on the state of purchase? Are there predictors on what they will be in future months? The higher the better, correct?
It depends on the manufacturer. Some update the residual and MF monthly, others update the residual only every quarter (Ford and Toyota do this).
No way to predict what will happen from month to month. As they say in the financial world, "past performance is no indicator of future results"
However - and this is a very general statement, the residuals trend downward through the model year. Marketing may 'suggest' to the bank folks to prop up the residuals, however, to making lease payments more attractive.

Great! You have been very helpful and I understand it now. I didn't realize the MF varied so much from car to car and how some mark it up. At .00003 there is hardly any interest especially compared to the MF we discussed on the Jeep Wranglers..

Exactly .. manufacturers will manipulate the MF, residual and lease cash to induce better sales each month.

Hello, do you have the MF and residual values for 36 months/12,000 miles for NC? Looking at the SL trim. Not sure if we'll decide before Feb ends or wait until March.

I too get $465/mo with those numbers. If you're comfortable with the selling price, no reason not to pull the trigger.
