2016 Hyundai Tucson Lease Questions

The 2016 Hyundai Tucson's are starting to come into showroom and wondering if it is too early for the residual and MF for this model.

My specific interests are:
Trim: Limited AWD
Package: Ultimate
State: NY
Miles: 15,000
Months: 36

Let me clarify .. I'm sure the dealer has the lease numbers. We don't.

You can lease a 2016 Tuscon, but we won't be able to tell you if the MF has been inflated.

Any news yet on numbers for a Eco FWD? 24/36 months and 10k/12k? Also does Hyundai offer MSD? if so how much does each MSD reduce the MF?

Sorry, but we didn't get the August numbers for Hyundai.

I don't think Hyundai does 24 month leases, generally and they don't have an MSD program.

An even more basic question is when will the '16 Tucson arrive on dealer lots, at least in the Boston area anyway?

It looks like availability is curtailed because of the large numbers of 2015's still hanging around. And Hyundai looks like they are in no hurry to move them either as the skinny discounts they offer are not strong enough motivation to buy...Either way I can wait.

I just checked the inventory at the dealer in Denver where I leased my Elantra GT ... they show 15 of the 2016 Tucson's on the lot.

Nothing for August .. new numbers should be available next week (if we get them).

Just got back from the dealer and these are the number given to me, I didn't take as they didn't really seem too good

36 months 12k a year: MF=0.00106 and Residual=58%

selling price of the car was 25,350 and for them the best deal they could give me was $999 down and $366 a month. they wouldn't even allow zero down at the Valencia, CA dealership I went to.

I have a lease for a 2013 Honda Accord LX sport where as of today my buyout is 15,770 and the trade-in value is showing 15,832 and TMV. I have no idea if they were taking that into account.

way higher than I expected so I just walked away.

Thanks for sharing your experience ... as we don't have any Hyundai numbers for August, can't tell you if the .00106 is the base MF or if the dealer marked it up.

Hoping to get numbers next week for September...

The three-year residual of 58% seems high but based upon your numbers above it is closer to 44%. And the APR of approximately 2.54% isn't great but not bad either.

Which trim? Sport? Eco?

I was given 56% (I think) on a limited with Ultimate Package. Am waiting to see if dealer can find the color I want before committing. Did ask for the residual 3 times and all they gave me was "20K". Doing the math on limited with Ultimate that is roughly 56%. This was in NJ.

Doesn't look like we are going to get any numbers from Hyundai this month.

I test drove a fwd Eco tonight. The salesman showed me the "sport"driving mode which was very spirited. It just has a weird revving that you hear on deceleration which was weird to me. Lots of space inside for cups, phone etc. and a nice sized storage between the seats. Everything in the drivers line of sight works but it has a tiny 5inch screen. I just don't get that.

Did anyone else drive one yet?
