Did you recently rush to buy a new vehicle before tariff-related price hikes? A reporter is looking to speak with shoppers who felt pressure to act quickly due to expected cost increases; please reach out to PR@Edmunds.com for more details by 4/24.
Thanks, yes it was zero out of pocket $280.05 tax included, they made first payment just got my statement 38 to go. Great car by the way, have driven it a few times and people don't even think its a Honda, lol. Cheers All !!
there must be some additional incentive on the Sport model. my local dealer has leases on their web site for 234/mo for the LX and 238/mo for the sport. both are zero down but pre-tax. all fees are included. I was going to jump on the sport deal until i priced 19 inch tires (~$250 each) which would probably need to be replaced upon lease turn-in (mileage dependent). Plus low profile tires are not conducive to a softer ride - guess i am old...
Large California dealership emailing out offer of 21,988 on accord sport cvt so a few hundred less can probably be had. At 39 months 12k a year I get 0 down 218.35 a month plus tax, not including license and doc fees.

what numbers are you using? at that crazy low price i still get 221.21 [using 25785, 57%, .00051, 39mo, 595 acq, excluded fees and tax]
I know I don't have all the numbers. I've emailed the dealer to get back to me.
Here is what I do know: 2016 Honda Accord EX with Sensing MSRP: $28,100 Selling Price: $26,000 Lease Term: $275 for 39 months/12k $0 Down Payment $1,650 in Taxes, Title, and Fees (does not include first month payment)
I'm in NJ.
How does this seem at first glance?
My dad was sweet-talked into this deal by the dealer and he's already put down a deposit and is going back tomorrow to sign the paperwork. I'm so mad that he hasn't given me time to do any research!

If the $1650 includes, tax, title/dealer fees, acquisition fee and 1st payment (and, that seems about right), then I get $277/mo, so that part looks good.
There is $500 of lease cash on this model, so the only thing to determine is if the selling price is good.

Using the MSRP and Gross Cap cost you've provided, I get about $307/mo with tax added in, so your quote is pretty close.
I think you can get more of a discount from sticker. Check here for pricing:
after striking out on a Sonata deal i am back here. i noticed the prices on the weymouth site have dropped a lot since my last visit there. Has something changed from honda? 58% residual, mf .00051 and $500 lease cash - i can't get any numbers to work out unless i discount the msrp by at least 3000 which seems like too much...has Santa arrived early?

58% is the 36/12 residual for the LX, EX or Sport. I confirm the .00051 MF and $500 lease cash.

Doc fee and acquisition fee might be $1000 total. That adds up to another $28/mo. on a 36 month lease.
Still puts you under $200/mo. with tax, I would think.
so is this good deal ? I mean tax one has to pay everywhere. I guess i can try to see if they can do some discount on doc fee. they said there will be no early termination if i turn in civic early.
Just leased a 2016 Accord Sport CVT in South Florida. total out of pocket was $500 and payment at $275/month taxes included which is 6% here. 39 month lease, dealer pays first payment

I would appreciate feedback on the following lease deal for a 2016 Honda Accord Touring Sedan: 36 months, 12,000 miles per year, 0 cash due at signing. Residual is 52%. MF is .00041.

I get the same numbers, within pennies. If you're comfortable with the selling price, no reason not to pull the trigger.
Thanks, Michaell, for the quick response! One thing I noticed on the lease worksheet is a first payment waiver offset of $415.93 which results in the 1st month payment of $16.61 which was rolled into the cap cost. Is this first payment waiver essentially like an additional reduction of the total cap cost by the dealer perhaps utilizing most, but not all, of the $500 in lease cash?

I suppose that's possible. A "sign & drive" promotion does exist for Honda ... if you roll everything into the cap cost, the MF is discounted .00010 as a result.

Thanks, again, Michaell! I did confirm that the MF was lowered from .00051 to .00041. Once again, I appreciate all of the assistance provided on this forum.
Thoughts on deal I just did yesterday in Long Island, NY. Leased a 2016 accord ex-l for 39 months 10,000 miles per year for $275 per month. Total out of pocket at signing was $615 (first month, DMV, tax on rebates and NYS fees). Dealer also took back old leased Nissan paying $690 to Nissan. MSRP was $29,405.

The Accord LX Lease ad is phenomenal!! All standard NJ taxes and fees are due upfront. The total out of pocket is $1,950.
Here is the breakdown of the fees due at signing, so you feel more comfortable:

NJ Tax 7%
NJ Tire Fee $7.50
NJ Motor Vehicle $276.50
Honda Bank Acquisition Fee $595
