Could someone please give me the MF and RV on the 2016 Accord Sedan Touring for 36/12k, 36/15k in California? Are they continuing to offer the same RV for 39 months?

I'm hoping to purchase this week and want to crunch my own numbers prior to actually heading to the dealership.

Thoughts on deal I just did on Monday in Long Island, NY. Leased a 2016 accord ex-l for 39 months 10,000 miles per year for $275 per month. Total out of pocket at signing was $615 (first month, DMV, tax on rebates and NYS fees). Dealer also took back old leased Nissan paying $690 to Nissan. MSRP was $29,405.

Are the Jan/Feb numbers better then the Nov/Dec numbers
on a 2106 Honda Accord Ex-L ? 39mo / 12k?
The dealer is telling me they did away with $500.00 bonus cash and lowered the residual
by 1%. I see you are showing $750.00 dealers cash does that make up for the 1% drop in the residual and the bonus cash should the number be the same from one week to next week on a deal?

Lease cash was $500, last month, so that's only $250 more.

Don't know anything about Bonus Cash.

Does it really matter? Last month's numbers are history. If you want to lease, you have to use this months numbers and incentives.

But, looks to be about the same. 1% difference on the residual is $250 on a $25,000 MSRP, or roughly $7/mo on a 36 month lease.

I get $259/mo. Are all your taxes paid up front?

Find out your net cap cost - if higher than the selling price, ask what's been added.

Tax should be $1000, at most... acquisition fee is $595. $2500 seems like a lot.

Ask for the adjusted CAP cost, and reconcile that with actual figures. Big lump sums like that can hide a lot of garbage fees.

Your payment looks decent, considering the numbers they are giving you. But, you need actual numbers.
Also, the 39 month term could save you over $20/mo. (same MF and residual)

What is the total mileage you receive on a lease from Honda on 39/12k a year.
The dealer is saying the total mileage is 39k at lease end.

Yes, 1000 miles per month = 39,000 total miles

You picked the highest trim levels with the highest MSRP. Those usually come with the lowest residuals.

LX 4-cylinder residual is 57%

56% for both 36/12 and 39/12, along with .00051 MF. $750 lease cash.

Honda does not offer 10K leases in most of the country.

What is the selling price / net cap cost?

Not sure that accessories are residualized, so you'll pay for them 100% even though you'll only use them for 39 months.

The 1410.00 was used for first month / reduce cap by 125.00 / Acq + tax/ and some up front fees and taxes.
All above accessories were include in the deal.

Sorry, I see only one model of the Accord where the 39/12 residual is 52% - Coupe EX-L Nav Sensing

Honda numbers are national, to the best of my knowledge, and the dealer is not allowed to adjust them.

EX - 63% / 62% / 60% / 58% / 57%
EX-L - 62% / 61% / 59% / 57% / 56%

FWIW, the 39 month residual is the same as the 36 month residual this month, which will give you a lower lease payment.

I get $273/mo + tax, so your deal looks pretty good if taxes are already included.

No.

But, it's rarely makes economic sense to lease, then buy.

Better to buy outright with a low interest rate loan. When you buy at the end of the lease, you have to take out a loan on a used car, where the interest rate is higher.

I want to lease a 2016 Accord Sport with Sensing. I've been quoted online a sale price of $23,467 which includes a $75 doc/processing fee. I'm trying to calculate everything before I go into the dealership, and I want to pay only the dmv fees and first payment at signing. Is this right? Am I missing anything?

Residual w/ 15k miles/yr: 55%
Term: 39 months
Cap cost (sale price + $595 acq fee): $24,062

Payment: $258.81 + tax

Does anyone know if the $750 lease cash is available for purchases as well? I never told them I wanted to lease, so I'm trying to figure out if the sale price they quoted is still open to an additional $750 off.

The Sport with Sensing has a 54% residual.
$750 is for lease/finance/purchase.

Your calculations are correct, but using the 54% residual, the payment will change to $265.55
