Doesn't mean it isn't a good deal, but the effective payment is closer to $225/mo.with tax and just 1st payment down..
$225 is probably the lowest you will get for an accord sport..thats exactly what I'm paying give or take a few dollars...and that's with as little out of pocket as possible ....
I know someone paying $300 a month for an LX.
Hamilton honda is pretty good about deal..what you see is what you get. I have leased civic earlier with news paper deal..also there is no negiotiations most of the time.you walk away and they would care less..just sharing my experience
Hello, I'm looking to lease another Accord V6 Coupe after being in a 2013 lease. A couple of selling price replies i got were in the mid $28k range. One dealer is giving me the $500 off of this cost offer. I'm still getting payments in the $400-$417 range with tax included. I feel this car should not have a higher than $380.00 a month payment with tax included. One dealer has a $699 dealer or processing fee, we know there is an acquisition fee, tag and title tax, and fist month payment rolled into a sign and drive lease deal. The residual value they are not giving but on one of their sites it says 51% for the coupe V6 no navigation base model. Would this be correct? Also with the current money factor on a selling price around $28k what would be an estimate on the monthly payment?

51% is the correct residual for the Coupe V6 EX-L for 36 months, 15,000 miles per year. The MF this month is .00051 and there is $750 lease cash available.
We would need to know the MSRP in order to model a payment.

That seems like a steep monthly payment to pay for a Honda coupe v6...I was pricing that up without the v6 and thought the payments were on the high end....after I got my numbers for the accord sport I ran with them...no other car for $25,000 were you going to get such a great price
Yeah, these dealers I think use MSRP into the lease calculations. They are sneaky. They quote you a price and once they hear you want to lease they are basing the payment on MSRP or over invoice. They also tack on additional accessory fees.
Hi Michael, Hi Michael, the MSRP is $31.860.00. Actually on one dealers site they say the residual is 53% and the money factor matches what you posted at 0.00051. I'm getting an quote of $28500 for their selling price. Should the payment on this lease be under $400.00 with tax included? This is with the dealer fee of $700, acquisition fee, tax/title. I'm getting around $400-417 for a 39 month lease zero down sign and drive. Thanks!

53% is the 36/12 residual for the EX-L Coupe. Using that residual along with your prices, I get a pre-tax payment of $346/mo.
Assuming the cap cost is the selling price - if taxes and fees are being rolled in, the payment will naturally go up.
I would be going with the 36/15 or 39/15. I would imagine the residual would lower by 2%? I would also imagine with Honda Cash at $750.00 selling price at around $28500, dealer fee of $700 washes the Honda cash so back at $28500 plus acquisition of $595 and tax/tag we are in the low $29's for the adjusted cap cost. Does this sound right? If you were to base the payment on the adjusted cap cost for a 36/15k or 39/15k lease what do you think we are looking at for payment? Thanks again Michael.

If I change my inputs to reflect a $29,250 cap cost and a residual of 51%, the payment jumps to $384/mo plus tax.
Do you know what the current MF and residual for a 36mo / 12k mi lease on a 2016 Accord LX CVT for a tier 1 borrower. Also, are there any additional incentives beyond what is on the Honda Financial website?

Hi, I'm brand new to this forum, really have no idea what the MF, lease cash etc means. So could you help me out calculating a payment, my Civic lease is up in 2 weeks I wanna get an Accord EX CVT, MSRP is $27100, I wanna do 0 down, 36mos/36k miles. I live in NJ sales tax 7%. Is that enough info to at least roughly calculate the payment? Thank you for your help

.00051 MF and 57% residual.
The other variable we need to calculate a lease payment is a selling price or CAP cost (that's the selling price, plus all other costs not paid upfront, like acquisition fee, tax, dealer doc fee, etc). That's the part that you have to negotiate.

Ok, so what if cap is $28069. Is it a good deal and how much should actual lease be based on this price? Very appreciate your input as i'm signing in tomorrow. Should i negociate more, i hate being a girl going to dealership. Thank you

If the CAP cost is $28069, then that's $373/mo, and a terrible deal.

These are all for 36 months 12 miles per year. Is there a sweet spot in terms of length of loan on these Hondas this month? Would it be better to hit 24 or 39 months?

Yes, the bottom line number of the window sticker.
Offer on a '16 Accord EX-L (no nav) 39k/15 lease in north FL:
MSRP: 29390 Sale price: 26500
"Advanced Payments": 336.39 "Upfront Charges": 556.37 "Total cap reduction" 607.25 equals Due on delivery: 1500.1
Monthly payment: 336 (tax incl.)
The MSRP includes a few options that they claimed to include on all the cars on the lot, like windshield treatment, wheel locks, etc. I asked for them to break down the payment due on delivery, but they did this instead so I don't know how much is doc fee and title, and how much is a down payment. I assume the first month's payment is "Advanced Payments." Since I didn't like the deal, I didn't push for more information. I got them to confirm that the money factor and residual were the numbers quoted here (.00051 and 54%).
This doesn't seem like a great deal to me. TrueCar said I should expect to pay $25.576 (without any installed options). Should I not take TrueCar seriously? Am I missing something? What do you think?

There is, however, a very active "Accords Prices Paid" discussion you can review to see what others have been able to negotiate:
The dealer accessories are not a good deal for you .. first, they are probably overpriced, and second, they aren't residualized, which means you will pay for 100% of the cost over the 39 month lease term.
Might be a good idea to get other dealers involved .. now that we are closing in on the end of the month, they may be more willing to make a great deal.

Thanks for the advice. I went to another dealer and got a much better deal. I ended up putting down $1500 to cover first month and fees, which they assured me was more than that, with the remainder rolled into the payment along with the taxes. They said the doc fee was $899, and I've heard Florida fees are among the highest in the country, so I didn't press the issue.
I'm paying $277 a month for 39 months, 15k mi/yr. That's around $2300 better over the term of the lease than the other dealer offered. I had a Subaru 4 months from the end of it's lease period that the Honda dealer took as a trade. I have no idea what difference that made in the negotiation.
Hello, I'm in California. Looking to lease a 2016 Honda Accord Sport on 39/12k term. What can I expect to pay on a Zero $ down? Thanks in advance.
I picked up the accord sport 39/10 for
$228 a month
$400 out of pocket ....
If the $750 cash lease still exists and you have tier 1 you should easily bargain down to the price i m paying....
I shopped it out for 2 months....most places were coming back with $250-$255 with with first month and DMV
I know I got a very sweet deal ...I know someone leasing a Honda accord LX for $300 a month and last year a friend of mine got the 2015 sport with no money out of pocket for $265 a month....you should easily be able to pick it up for $235-$250 with no money out of pocket...let me know what deals you get.

2016 Accord EX-L non-navigation.
MSRP $29,505
Sales price $25,500
Cap cost $25,500 less $750 lease cash is $24.750
RV is $29,505 x .56 or $16,522.80.
Depreciation is $8,227.20.
39 month lease means $210.95 monthly depreciation.
Interest at MF .00051 is $21.05 monthly.
So, before taxes and fees, lease is $232/month with zero down.
Taxes in NJ $633.36 (7%)
Reg fees roughly $300
Doc fee est $400
Acquisition $595
Tire $8
Total taxes and fees $1936.36 estimated or $49.65 per month over 39 months.
Add $49.65 to $232 for $281.65.
So, zero down, 39/12 lease would be $281.65 per month.
Is my math accurate based on the given sales price?
Thank you.
