    Hi guys
Can I get the money factor and residual for SXT 2016 at 24 months and 12,000 a year. Thanks for your help.
  • I'm in South FL and dealers down here still have 2016 SRT 392s and Hellcats. Could I get lease numbers for both, 36/12k? Thank you.

  • looking at a 2016 charger scat- just got some initial numbers on a 36/10 and 48/10 - MSRP about $49k. was told that only incentive was $1500 but that it was basically cancelled out by destination, ect type charges. this assumes no money out of pocket as well. Cleveland Ohio

    36/10- 677.54 ---Residual was 28,609
    48/10- 645.21----Residual was 23,919

Any thoughts? Residual seems low and rate seems high.

Seems like if they still have leftover 2016 models, they would be discounting them, no matter how popular they were, last year.

    But, not cheap to lease

  • thanks for the information- when I told them that the lease seemed high they quickly pushed a 2017 version with same terms for about $480/month - leasing game never makes sense to me.

Once a car becomes one year old, the residuals drop too much to make it worth leasing. That's pretty typical,

Thank you very much. Are these numbers the same for all lenders or is it just for Chrysler and the MF would be different for a credit union?

Oh okay. There is a $5000 incentive when going with an other than Chrysler lender so I would go with that, Do you know the MF of other lenders?
I would be grateful if you could answer one more question - are cash incentives on retail purchases available through lease as well?

We only have Chrysler Capital numbers.

On FCA products, retail incentives usually aren't the same as lease incentives.

As a private business, I suspect they can choose who they will (or won't) do business with.

I would guess that most of their long distance shoppers never end up buying a car, so it's not worth it to them to invest time or money into it.

Second local dealer wants 4000 down and 620 a month for 2016 Hellcat Charger...MSRP is 71230. They would not say what they were "selling" it for other than they would match the "MF of .00002 and 61% residual"..... they would not show me anything about a sales price...period.

I am trying all local dealers, area dealers within 400 miles and nobody wants to get close to these 36 month/12k mile leases (60k sales price MF .00002 and 61% residual) for the $550 range I am seeing others post about.

To get $550/mo (before tax) with those prices and numbers, the adjusted cap cost has to be around $63,250 - not sure you can get $8K off sticker on a limited edition car like the Hellcat.

  • I have seen others post on the hellcat forum that they are getting these cars for 59999-61500.  Of course I am not sure how Texas works on the taxes for leases?  I have never leased before so this is all Greek to me.  The very best price I have been quoted so far is the $4000 down and $620 a month.  But again the dealer on that deal would not show me what the actual selling price was on that deal.  When I asked he said they did not work leases that way because it would only allow me to take his offer to another dealer.

Texas taxes the full selling price. That adds at least $100/mo. to the payment.

I wouldn't bother with a dealer that tries to hide the numbers.

  • Thanks for the info and the education!  Looks like I have just about exhausted all my options in trying to get one.  I have spoke to just about every dealer I could find that had a 2016 Charger Hellcat on the lot and was showing any discount on it.  I did not bother the dealers that still show ADM (adjusted/area dealer markup).  I tried most all of Texas, Oklahoma, southern Kansas and New Mexico.  It seems to me if I pay what I see others paying 59999-61500.  Pay the TAX up front, with the current MF and residual %, it would be in the 450 payment range?

    4000 down for taxes (4000 divided by 36 months=111.11)

550 payment other are getting. Then subtract the tax amount that was already paid, 111.11 would equal 438.89.   Maybe I am so lost I am not figuring this all correct???

Also, keep in mind. Purchase incentives may be different from lease incentives.

If you've tried all those dealers, and none will meet your price, that's a pretty good sign that you aren't going to get that price.
