Thank you for the help! one last question, I spoke to a dealer that told me there is 1500 Dealer cash available for all models of the camry except the hybrid, can this be used in lieu of no lease cash?

Residuals are the same.

Don't have the NY specific numbers, but in most regions, the MF is lower this month, and in some regions, lease cash has gone up..

Sorry, I don't have the specifics, but the Camry should be a little cheaper to lease this month.

Over 15K/yr, they reduce residual by cents/mile. Most likely, it's $0.15/mi., but we don't have the exact number.

The extra miles are charged up front - usually around .15-.20 per mile - and deducted from the calculated residual for 15K.

One more question, this is my mom's lease, and she only has 16K miles on a lease that allows for 36K. When turning it in, is it possible to negotiate some of that equity in the old car into the price of the new lease?

Find out the payoff on your mom's car, then get a solid trade value - head over to the "real world trade in values" discussion to start. Carmax is another place that will give you a solid quote.

If you have equity, you can trade the car in just like you would a car that is financed.

If the $235/mo is with tax, I'd say you got a pretty good deal. But, can't tell you for sure without all the numbers.

Could I please get the MF, residual and any lease incentives on a 2016 SE for 24 months/10k year & for 36 months/12k year. Located in Southern California.

Supposedly a dealer has one in stock for a selling price of $20,858 (msrp $25,374) but that includes $1,250 Toyota Camry Factory Cash Back which I don't believe is applicable - depending on numbers, if there's $1,000 in lease cash this could be looking like a solid deal (assuming 70%+ residual and a good MF).

Thanks for the quick response! I've had one dealership tell me the residual is 69% on a 24 month/10,000 mile lease. In their words: "You wouldn't want to pay security deposit, it would actually raise your payments and nothing can be changed on the residual."

I'm not putting much faith into this dealership as their indicated 'best price' is still hundreds over what competitors are willing to do. Nonetheless, just wanted to double check on the residuals. Perhaps they figured 24 months/12,000 miles? Would that lead to the corresponding 68% residual?

Could be 69% for 24/10. The mileage adjustments for 24 month leases are sometimes different than for 36 months. Either way, dealer can't modify the residual.

Toyota sales folks aren't real familiar with MSDs. Try speaking with someone in finance.

Don't have the NY region, but in general, MF varies between .00001 - .00023, and lease cash varies from $500-$1000, depending on region.

Residuals are 61%/68% for 36/24 months, 12K/yr
