$452/mo plus tax. What is the net cap cost with tax included? How much are you expected to come up with at signing?

0 upfront at signing. The NJ fees are $454 for tags, reg, and doc are included in the quote he gave me. all I know right now

Get the adjusted cap cost, with everything rolled in. That way we can tell if they're bumping the MF or not.

Msrp is 42,960 - most dealers will go 3500 off msrp.

There is 1500 lease cash right now in addition to the 3500 discount.

We were quoted around 495 incl 8% OC sales tax with $1k due at signing for a 36/10k lease - 15k will probably be around 35 more because the residual is 3% less I believe .

If you are in OC, Bill in the Internet Dept of Norm Reeves Mission Viejo is very knowledgeable and was straight forward with us.

If you can hold off, the money factor might go down after Labor Day when their new lease program comes out - might save you 35-45 on the payment.

It is a great vehicle but we decided to go with something else.

Last week we got $490/mo with 0 down/out of pocket on a 2017 Advance (msrp 44,460). Only difference is we only have 10k miles per year, not 15k.

Local (Massachusetts) dealership offering a lease special on 2017 AWD RDX - base model:

$2995 down, 595 destination fee, doc fee
$279/month+tax
10K miles per year (though I may need to negotiate this number up)
Residual - $24,198.40.
MSRP $37,810.00

The $595 is the acquisition fee.
.00157 MF and 64% residual. $1500 lease cash.

The "offer" looks like an advertisement. It's about $2100 off MSRP, once you take into account the lease cash and the $3000 downpayment. It's an okay deal. If you roll the $3000 down and the $595 into the payment, the price goes up to $385/mo.+tax.

With this kind of deal, is it customary to negotiate the purchase price down, the mileage allowance up, or both? What's considered a fair discount off the sticker price? I don't have much time to shop around and haggle, so just wondering what is the best strategy?

Yes, you negotiate the selling price when you lease, just like you would if you were buying.

Use the "make / model / year" pull downs at the top of the page to link to the price tools - that will give you the "TMV" value, which is an average for your zip code. Your goal is to get a price lower than that average.

You can choose how many miles a year you want for your lease - 10K, 12K or 15K - based on your driving habits.

Yes.. on all RDXs. But, it might be a dealer incentive. If so, they don't have to disclose it.

Yes, NY collects sales tax upfront. But, you can roll that amount into your CAP cost, if you wish.

2017 RDX base, AWD
Adj cap cost $35,026
Residual $23,820 (I didn't get the MF or APR, can I get that post deal somewhere?)
I had 2 payments left on my 2013 Civic which the dealership is covering
I live in the city of Chicago and there is an additional (extremely frustrating) tax = $440/mo ($403 excluding city tax).

Just my opinion but I would ask that sales rep how do they expect you to do business with them if they won't answer your questions. Depending on dealer availability in your area, I'd look elsewhere.

due at signing- Bank fee of $595, Vin etch at $199, dealer conveyance fee of $399, registration of $175, sales tax of $86.87 and first months payment.

Is this a good deal? What should I be shooting for?

I don't have the new lease programs, but those numbers sure look like they would be in the right range.

Using your numbers, I get $483/mo.+tax for 10K/yr, which seems to be very close to your quote.
The only way to improve the deal is to get a bigger discount.
