Hi can you let me know the MF and RV for 2017 Q7 2.0 Prem Plus?
    looking at
    36 mo / 7500 miles
    36 mo / 12k miles
    I
    n Charlotte, NC.

    Thanks a lot!

    .00187 and 62% / 60%
    Thanks for the info.
I got couple quotes from my local dealers
one quote me 3% off MSRP and 0.00247 MF 36/10k, and says it is set by Audi financial and they are not incentivizing the money factor.

Another one with higher MF and did not even disclose it to me.

    are these normal?

The dealer is allowed to mark up the MF for more profit.

Be polite and tell them you won't sign a deal where that has been done - they know the base rate.

Hi there, could you share MF and RV in the Dallas/Fort Worth area with a 2017 Q7 3.0 Premium Plus for 36/10? Any recent deal/incentive given 2018 models are already out? Many thanks!

    .00210 and 62%

You'd think so, but you'll have to talk to the dealer to see how motivated they are to clear out old inventory.
Thank you. Another question. Dealer's inventory has a 3.0 base trim with "Premium Plus package" insalled. Is there any difference than the P+ trim?

    Hi Guys,

Looked at the Q7 3.0 Premium plus 36/15 in Florida

    -Driver Assistant Package
    -Vision Package
    -Bose 3D Surround
    -20'' wheels
    -Ventillation Pkg
    -Cold Weather Package

    MSRP $69,580

    Sales Price: $65358

    Trade in $8600

    Taxes: $1919

    Net Residual: $41,052

MF .002292******* Seems high? Tier 1 Credit

Also saw $1620 in dealer fees

I feel like they're raising the mf and can go lower being that the 18s are already out.

    What do do you think?

Meant to ask What payment do you get with the above?

    They quotes me at $815/Mo

Florida taxes the monthly payment - ask the dealer for the adjusted cap cost, and how they got to that number from the selling price.

MF is marked up, as you've noted.

And, we suggest you use the trade equity for just the first payment and DMV costs; have the dealer cut you a check for the balance.

Using the MSRP and selling price, I get $899/mo plus tax with the base MF, or $919/mo plus tax with the marked up MF.

So if I were to trade in the whole car, my payment should be about $700 correct?

How much should the Check be for if I take the $899/mo plus tax payment?

Also, wouldn't my taxes be about $600 less with the trade in?

You can trade your car in, without putting all of that money into a downpayment on the lease. They can just cut you a check for it.

Since FL taxes the monthly payment and it's the bank buying the car, not you.... not sure you'll get any sort of tax credit on the trade (but, not an expert on FL sales taxes)

I was unable to strike a deal because the Dealer lied about the MF. Secretly marking it up to .0033 and tried to hide a $895 Prep fee. Ridiculous. Anyway, any incentives/dealer cash on the 17's this month? I'll try another dealer

We've always suggested 6% off MSRP for Audi, though the A7 is pretty popular and you may not be able to attain that discount.

Wife is exiting her current lease early. We will owe a few thousand on the lease when trading it in. Dealer states we can trade the car in and place the amount we owe on the car down as a down payment to avoid buying the car out ourselves and waiting for the title. Does this sound logical for this situation?

Also, they are listing 115.00 as taxable fees and 1097.00 as non tax fees. Please let me know what you think these fees could be before I negotiate them down. They ALSO have the dealer prep fee listed separate.

    Thank you!

No info on that. We've never heard of one, though I'm sure they have some "supplier" discount programs, like most makes.

Are you sure the taxable and non-taxable amounts aren't the other way around?
You don't want to buy out a vehicle, then trade it in, as you'll be subject to sales tax. Trading it in is the way to go, as that absolves you of any lease-end charges.

Part of the fees is the $895 acquisition fee. That is unavoidable. If you see any other fees you think are excessive, try to negoitiate a lower sale price to make up for them.

Great thanks for that. Can you check my math?

    MSRP: 63000
    Sale price: 60000
    Loyalty: 1000
    Dealer fee: 700
    Acquisition fee: 900
    Tag fees: 400
Money down (which is the lease buy out): 6500

    Trade in: 32000
Amount owed on trade in (lease buy out): 6500

    Leasing at 12k/36mo
    MF: .0021 and 60% residual

I am getting payments of 880/month

    Thanks for your time.

What number are you using for the cap cost? Are you rolling all the fees into it?

Why are you buying your lease out early?

I plugged numbers into Edmunds lease calculator. But it looks like cap cost is 60000 (which is just the sale price?)

    All fees rolled in.

They said its 60% residual, but I know they cant change that, think it was a mistake. 3.0 premium plus.

Wife has never disliked anything more than her car. This is someone who never complains about anything. Has something to do with the smell and her feeling nauseous everything she gets in it....among other reasons.

The cap cost would be the sale price plus all the taxes and fees added in.

Bummer about the wife not liking her current car.

I got Q7 quote from a local dealer. And there are two items SCADA2 #350 and AoA LA DAA #351 which costs $516 and $320. The dealer told me they are advertise expenses from Audi. In addition there is a $235 charge 'PREPARATION AND INSPECTION". I guess all these three fees are mark-up by the dealer, right? Should I continue deal with this dealer:( Thanks!!

The first two look to be legitimate costs from Audi to the dealer and are part of the invoice price of the car.

Is the Prep and Inspect also on the official paperwork, or is this something from the dealer?

Don't get in the weeds with the minutia; figure out the price you want to pay and offer that amount to the dealer. Trying to determine $X under or over invoice will just lead to frustration, as you will never know what the dealer paid for the car. Invoice price can be adjusted a dozen different ways, and most of them are hidden from the public.

It looks like you might be offering $XXX over invoice. If that's the case, be prepared to pay whatever is on the dealer's invoice. That's a slippery slope to head down.

A dealer in the Los Angeles area. $750 off MSRP is not good at all. You can easily get at least 6% off MSRP on a 2017 right now.

Hello, I got a Q7 quote with 6% off in Los Angeles area. MF is .00165 with MSD, not too bad I guess. But a quick calculation on the interest confuses me. .0016 is equivalent to 3.84% interest rate. However, interest payment of (sale price-residual+tax) with 3.84% should only be $1400. But if I lower MF to 0 in lease calculator, the total payment is reduce by almost $6k, i.e. interest payment is $6k. What did I do wrong?:(

Finance charges on a lease are assessed against an average of the CAP cost and residual. Your calculation only assesses it against depreciation.

So the Q7 will be picked up this weekend. Can you check my math?

    Dealer sent this worksheet:

    Selling price : 62,935
    Discount: 2951
    Rebate: 1000
    Adjusted: 58983

    Total : 58983
    Doc Fee: 697

    Taxable Fees: 115
    Trade allow: 32000
    Trade difference: 27796

    Tax: 415

    Non Tax Fees: 1097
    Net Price: 29309
    Trade Payoff: 38642
    Balance: 67951

They are telling me with 6642 (the trade difference) down at 36/12k my payments will be 976.00
All fees rolled in (acquisition, cap cost red tax, dmv, dealer fee, 1st month) about 3295.00

I don't understand where they are getting this payment from, any idea? Last question I promise lol

The important question is, why are you trading, if you are $6642 under water on your current vehicle?
