That's true .. there may be an exception for the greater NYC area, but not anywhere else in the country.

I pulled the trigger on the 2016 Highlander XLE in the Los Angles area. Current money factor for Highlander is .0020 in the LA Area. I ended up doing the max security deposits (9) for $3,150 and took the rate down to .00128. This is actually a great return on your money when you do the match. I am essentially getting a 17% return on my refundable security deposit. Definitely something to look at if you have money laying around not earning any sizable return. Many dealers are not familiar with the MSD program so you need to ask around to find someone that knows it and is able to put the deal together. This dealer sold me the car $343 below invoice. $350 per month on 12K 36 mo $1312 drive off and the $3150 refundable deposit.

65% residual for Limited, 68% residual for XLE.

MF is likely in the .00190 range.

Could anyone help me calculate a lease payment in SoFL on FWD Limited with Driver Technology? According to TrueCar, its a 42,905 MSRP with TrueCar price of 39,858. Just using this as a baseline, what would a lease payment look like?

.00199 MF and 66% residual for 36mo, 12K/yr (no 10K/yr for Toyota).

$456/mo.+tax.

But, this is Southeast Toyota and Florida, so beware of some big charges.
$650 acquisition fee
Some sort of SET distributor fee
Possibly outrageous dealer/doc fee ($600-$900).

I show 67%/64%. It's possible that SET is running their leases through a bank other than TFS. (Southeast Toyota Finance?) If that's the case, I don't have the residuals. (though that .00199 MF came from SET).

It wouldn't surprise me that the rates are a lot worse, though.

Thank you, they did say it would have to be through Toyota Finance. The MF was correct but the residual was way off. Have a lease that is expiring so we are shopping around.

The MSRP is 39765. 12,000 miles/yr. State is RI with a tax rate of 7%

Out of interest, is it a totally crazy idea to lease a Highlander with a possible thought of buying it out at the end? The high residual seems to be the spanner on the works of this plan.

SE is under control of a single distributor. I think VA is considered Central Atlantic Toyota.

Does anyone know if Toyota leases include gap insurance? Sales guy says yes, sales manager says no. I tried to call TFS to ask but they won't even let you speak to a live person without an account #.

Also checking Highlander LTD platinum 2016 AWD, 36 mo/45k mi lease numbers. Is .00190 and 63% correct for Philadelphia/Delaware area?

And is it reasonable to think I can get below invoice for the LTD Platinum? Truecar has pricing $1k above invoice and I've found them to be the lowest pricing source. If I can get to invoice or below I would definitely go for it.

I believe Toyota is one of the few manufacturers that does not automatically include GAP insurance with their leases. Reach out to several Toyota dealerships and ask to speak with someone in finance, not sales.

I confirm .00190 and 63% for 36/15 on the Highlander Limited Platinum.

No idea on pricing, though Highlanders are quite popular and I rather doubt big discounts are available.

Was told by a dealer yesterday that it is legal for them to add up to 100 points to the MF. So a 0.00200 becomes 0.00300. I'm guessing I should be fighting them down to the original MF?
