I saw one last week, I remember it was a warm day and the driver had the window down. Maybe showing off his cool ride
At least it wasn't an X6. Speaking of BMWs, I saw a new style X5 not long ago. I think I saw an ActiveHybrid 7 last week, they have the distinctive badge around the c-pillar.
So you're saying you don't want an M235d xDrive GranCoupe? BMW is out-nicheing MB, and looking kind of silly.

Oh give MB a year or so - I see them catching up. BMW has 28 models (and that's without the 1 series) and MB has 19 (without the GLA or B Class). I predict an ELC, SLC and perhaps an S Class 4 door cabriolet and maybe a GLK-S 2 door SUV shortly - I hope I'm getting the alphabet soup right!!
I hope the long rumored 4-door S cabrio becomes a reality, it will be such a wonderfully pointless and overdone car. 2 door variants of all SUVs would be cool, too.

Were you at NE 8th and Bellevue Way? Probably not uncommon there, where money and taste collide in a fun way.
Saw 3x V60s at the Volvo dealer this morning, one of them looking like a higher trim model.
Also saw a late model A4 and a late model A8 side by side at a light. Amusing.

About a week ago, I saw a X6M and a 5GT on opposite sides of the same intersection. Both in white. I should have looked around for the cameras...
Have seen a couple of Q50s lately - one a hybrid, one with a "3.7" badge on the fender, never noticed that before. Emulating 00s MBs or 60s American cars? Also saw a V60 this one on the road with plates.
Haven't seen any V60's on the roads but a few dealers have a couple of them on their lots. What a sharp, sharp looking car. Shame that you can't get the wonderful Twin Scroll Turbo-6 anymore unless you pony up for the R-design which I imagine will be a limited run. Volvo seems to be really pushing their new TC/SC 4 cylinder which has amazing performance on paper but I imagine will be kinda stale in the engagement, similar to the BMW 320i. And there is still no availability of AWD on that model yet...
Other sightings for me have been a couple of Accord hybrids, tons of Mercedes CLA's, quite a few new Nissan Rogues (significant and very well done upgrade IMO) and quite a few of the new Highlander which I hardly see much advertising for so the thing is definitely selling itself.
(2) of my Co-workers jumped ship from GM after the recall coverup last week and one ended up with a new Hyundai Sonata and the other a new CR-V. Not new, but...
The Maserati Granturismo is a gorgeous car, and a blast to drive for such a big coupe. I took them home few times for the weekends when I worked at our local exotic dealer, and had a blast.
I see quite a few of the 3 GT's around here. Maybe the fact that our lot is located on a road in between a BMW dealer and their holding compound. I'm not really a big fan of the design. The roofline and side glass reminds me of the Chevy Citation hatchback design.
Fin, because wagon (like minivan) is the kiss of death when marketing a car that is supposed to be "cool" Kind of like putting you have Herpes in your online dating profile.
so, take a good bit of the functionality out and replace it with "style", come up with a new snappy name, and sell more. Well, maybe not in this case, but look what happened when they turned wagons into jacked up, ill handling "SUVs"
Geez anything, jumping ship from GM to a Hyundai Sonata, not a good move for those who believe Consumer Reports. Well, the turbo anyway, is not "Recommended" by CR because of reliability issues. The Malibu four is 'recommended' and is the same reliability according to them, as the non-turbo Sonata. Built in Kansas City too. Will anyone jump ship because of the historic $1.2 billion settlement against Toyota for hiding stuff? Both are terrible for sure; I can partly probably attribute GM's to the revolving door of CEO's the past several years. I don't know what I can blame Toyota's on.

The Corvette was right behind me, so I couldn't really see it, except for the side mirrors, until it took a turn.
Since then I have seen a black Evoque and a white Evoque styled RR Sport.
2024 Ford F-150 STX, 2023 Ford Explorer ST, 91 Mustang GT vert
And we can guess the demographic who will be attracted to it, too - the one I saw met my guess. Funny thing - I know a woman who refuses to drive a minivan - has to be a CUV or SUV based on image alone. Her husband wants a minivan.
I saw an Encore this morning too, driven by an old couple who were going really slow, but at least were in the right lane. Every car was passing them. Then they moved into the left lane. I hope they were headed for the Dennys up the road.
How many CEOs aren't arrogant? The C-level world tends to believe they are gods among men. We should feel lucky to have them amongst mere mortals. Such hardworking bootstrapping builders.

Regarding the earlier post about a friend who "..switched to Hyundai because of the recall", I question the honesty of a new-car buyer who says, "I switched brands because of the recall which didn't affect my last car". Now, if they disliked their last car, the recall may have just bolstered their opinion, but I really doubt that first statement. But of course, it's not my statement to doubt.

I saw a C7 last night on the road. rare occurrence. I think I saw more in my 1 visit to the Chevy dealer last year (in the showroom) than I ever have on the road.
this one was white. No clue why anyone would buy a white Vette. Not at all attractive.
White is a trendy high end car color right now, I think it is seen as kind of brash.
I was out for a drive and stopped at the BMW dealer, as I spotted a 3er wagon. It had no window sticker (?), but was an xdrive diesel. They also still had leftover 13 models, including 7 series with maybe 20% off posted on them - you'll have to do better on that. There was also a 3er GT with 3K miles on it in the used section. Lots of new 4 series on the lot.

I love white cars, but have to agree with Stick white on a new Vette seems off to me.
Neighbor brought home a new Tundra "Platinum" edition in white with the matching grill. I've seen a few of these now and the looks are growing on me.
Haven't seen too many new Lexus IS lately but I saw a shiney new Black IS350 in a company parking lot next door this morning. Another car that has grown on me.
Lastly, a young kid, probably in his early 30's left the Starbucks this morning in a new 911.
white with red interior is considered the "classic" Corvette combination among its loyalists--that's because it's the combo that the very first Corvettes came in.

I'm not a fan of the new QP's front end and the elongated back. Although the car looks much better in real life than in pictures I think the Ghibli is better styled with nicer proportions.

I'm a mechanical dummy, but I like things to look original/authentic, so emblem placement and things like that, if not right, make me crazy. This car was good on that kind of stuff. BMW drivers use the rear window?
I see these now and then in my area. I suppose a 2010 550 xdrive model must have comical depreciation by now.
This was the first 5 GT I'd seen in over a year, can't be selling many at all. So the obvious answer? A 3 GT, and more to come I understand...
Almost forgot, saw another oddball BMW, a 5 'ActiveHybrid'...
I saw one last week, I remember it was a warm day and the driver had the window down. Maybe showing off his cool ride

I parked next to a new X5 last night - it seemed BIG.
And I don't mind the 3 GT (in pics) as much as the 5 GT.
