    With $26,170 as the MSRP and $23,800 as the adjusted cap, I get $272/mo

    $225/mo looks really good by comparison.

    So if I take the $2100 Lease Cash off of their "Dealer Price", that leaves a "purchase price" of $20,593.

    Purchase Price/Net Cap Cost: $20,593 (Dealer Price - $2100 Lease Cash)
    Residual Value: $16,342

    Is this possible?

    I know how leases work. With this site's help, I got a ridiculously low monthly on my Honda Civic, but that was in late 2015 with a brand-new 2016 redesign coming out and tons of 2015 models still on the lot.

    My Civic lease is $167.95/month, all in--0 down, 0 security deposit. Top-tier credit.

    If I go into this KIA dealer with these numbers, this deal is likely???

    I thought that, when leasing, you negotiate a purchase price--offering no indication that you will be leasing--and then you determine leasing numbers based upon that purchase price, if leasing is your plan.

    Because I understand that the finance company is essentially "purchasing" the vehicle from the dealer, for the negotiated purchase price, so the dealer always gets their negotiated purchase price, no matter what.

    Is that not exactly accurate?

    Via the finance company, the vehicle is still being purchased from the dealer, no?

    If extra miles are $0.20 each, then yes, your math is correct.

    I never like leaving money on the table, but I find that when I lease, having a few more miles than I'll use available gives me one less thing to think about, over the lease term. No monetary value in that, though.
