so by just looking at the outside of the vehicles, she is ranking them? oh boy.
Well no, she's taken at least a couple extensive test drives of all three choices. Last night's browsing was just to check out the available colors on the Audi.
She likes all three (or maybe four including the Allroad) of the choices so closely, she jokingly (somewhat jokingly) suggested that she send me, @jpp5862 and @michaell out one Saturday to pick out the car for her.
What about a V90 Cross Country, if you're considering the allroad?
That's been a consideration for her ever since they came out. It really comes down to the length - we both agree it would just be a bit much her her. I did suggest waiting for the upcoming V60 - just don't think she'll hold out.
I was pretty brief with my submission - only a couple of pictures and pretty basic description and info. I thought the next step would be providing a whole slew of pictures and preparing a lengthy and more complete narrative. Maybe I needed to do a better job of "selling the car" as part of the application.
Alright, well, prices and values on-line are all over the place on the Polestar. I've never seen KBB and NADA be so far apart on a vehicle. I thought an auction on BaT would be an ideal approach to getting to a market price.
Since I was rejected , I'd welcome realistic thoughts on pricing (and trade Q?).
Why don't you do a country-wide search on Car Gurus?
Cargurus shows a total of 5 in the nation - no 2016's. Cars.com has a few more. And if I could sell it for $2-3k less than the cheapest listed price I can find right now, I think I'd be okay (i.e., the pricing seems very inflated).
Here's a CPO 2015 Macan S that's at a dealer near me (where my parents bought their Cayenne). Porsche CPO warranty seems to extend the B2B by 2 years & Unlimited Mileage. This car isn't outrageously priced. I'm sure @qbrozen will say it is $3K over priced. You most likely won't get killed trying to ditch it after a year.

Have you been speaking to my wife? That's her preferred color combination as we've been browsing Macans!

That's the difference... I bought my wife an X3 last year, and it will be at least three more years before I hear from her about a new car.
That, and I've been driving my car for over eight years.

Drove another Q50 today and man, that sucker sure can move! I hammered the accelerator a couple of times and damn, I was down the highway. I know if I owned one of those suckers I'd be in definite trouble as it makes one want to drive fast, really fast! It was black over black leather a really bad combo for South Florida but a nice rig all the same. Also drove a new Jeep Compass and they really did a good job with this new model. Very enjoyable to drive and not too big. Sure it's pretty thirsty but it's really stunning in that blue color they offer. Haven't seen any new Renegade's in the fleet lately so not sure we've gotten our 2019 models yet. Did see a whole bunch of new 2019 Toyota Corolla LE's waiting to be pdi'd and get put on the road. Lastly, as of yesterday, we've all been put on a 24 hour/week schedule. This is our slow time annually and the powers that be are trying to save some $ by implementing this policy again. As it is, there were only 2 of us left to work at lunchtime and I was supposed to be off by 4:20. Of course, that didn't happen as I was in traffic at that time. Finally clocked off at 4:55 but there should be no problems here because it's quite difficult to get the timing exactly right every day. This to shall pass as it has every other year and in a couple of weeks, we'll be back to our usual 30 hours/week. Also, the 3 hours on Saturday are now going to go in a rotation so everyone does it. This is doomed from the start as I heard a lot of bitching about this part this morning!
looks like my son's former roommate is a budding Breld. He jsut texted that the friend is probably trading in his Fiat 124 this weekend, for a Civic Si. This is the Fiat he got earlier this year, trading in a GTI that he only had for about a year I think. And the same dude that had a 1980s or 90s S class for a while (though I think he finally managed to dump that).

Got a question here about clearing out the data on an iPhone I plan to sell. Got a new 8 Plus to replace the 6s Plus I had. Finally got all my stuff backed up and the old phone has no sim card. Wanted to reset the 6s Plus back to being an unused device so got on my wifi and erased everything. Someone at work told me my sim card isn't necessary to do this, just having a wifi connection is all I would need. Long story short, now it looks like it was when I first got the phone and asking for information. Logical that the phone has been wiped clean but if anyone out there has any knowledge of how to do this, please let me know if I did it correctly. Thanks all!!
not sure what you meant by wifi, but in settings, there is an option to reset phone to factory (not sure exactly what they call it, but basically that). You have to confirm about 3 times you really want to do it. But once you do, it is blank. I would pull the SIM card out too, and you should be good to go.
