Stick...that was Michaell's link....but, it is down temporarily, something about fixing it up right now. It is so classy it is only in operation for a few hours a day!
Certainly don't need a BU cam or sensors with visibility like that Legend.
Nice car
Now that is my kind of car....straight lines, large windows, good site lines........that would be a good design for today. Might not pass the safety I guess, thin roof pillars and not enough metal protection.
gotta say that V60cc with that weave interior is still calling to me. Works out to about $260/mo with about $2800 at signing for 36/10. That is IF my wife's job would qualify for the healthcare worker rebate.
I still think a lease is not a good idea right now, though. Wasted miles. But if I were interested in leasing and then buying ... but we all know I'd never keep something that long.

Q - beware transmission history on that generation T6. Or maybe my parents just have horrific luck.
Really? Thought they were well past transmission problems by then. Have they had any good ones since the old Aisin 4-spd auto? Geesh.
I thought the problem child was the GM 4-speed that went in the T6 just after the turn of the millennium.
The 5-speed Aisin in my V70 2.5T was doing just fine at 192K.
What year was that one? I believe the early 5-spd geartronic ... IIRC '04-'05? ... had some issues self destructing.
Mine was an '06. I think the mid-cycle refresh was '05, when I know they went from 2.4T to 2.5T but I'm not sure how far back the 5-speed geartronic goes. The real lemons were the GM box that was in the S80 T6 models a few years earlier.

yes, the S80 T6 and the XC90 T6 with 4-spd auto are to be avoided at all costs.
I think the 5-spd geartronic started with the '04 S60. And they had to limit torque in 1st and 2nd in the S60R, which should have been a clue they were garbage.

BaT is nuts. go for it. Get the coronet back together and put that out there too. The green vega hit $8,400, and the owner did not take it! seems nuts to me.
@28firefighter convinced me that BaT is worth at least an inquiry so I'll probably get that rolling within the next few days. The worst they can say is no.

and finally, one more that I lusted after in my youth, where a nice one has $ wise left me in the dust, so it is buy a crappy one or just go with memories! But this car, is sweet.
I could. 1/3 (or less the price), faster than I could ever use, and probably much cheaper to keep on the road. I am not taking it on the track, or canyon carving with an older toy car. So I would never really use the extra capability of the M. Basically the car is all about style and having some responsible fun. And style.
I think that is Azores Green, the same color as my parents’ Q5. If so, the lighting on that one is weird and it’s actually darker in person. Still a gorgeous color. I don’t think I’ve ever seen it on an A4, but I’ve seen it on several Q5s and (I think) an A6.
It's described as "Gotland Green". No idea if it's a custom color, but I agree that it doesn't go well with the black interior.
I like all of Audi's green's a lot! It's not custom, just certain models have one green and another will have a different green. For example, Misano Red became Tango Red, then the TTRS wasn't happy with that so Catalunya Red was born.
There's an '18 TTRS in Catalunya Red in Temecula with low miles for $55K asking price that's tempting me.

Not all BaT prices are crazy. Today, this one was a nice deal, tiptronic or not. Honest car with a $21k engine rebuild receipt. Well bought, in my mind.
I so wanted an original Legend Coupe. Could only, barely, afford an Integra. Still felt like I won.

pretty car. Odd that it would need a full rebuild at 50K miles though. But, the slushbox just kills it for me. Couldn't do it.
That thing is tacky as heck, but I love it. I never heard of this model before. And someone in 1998 paid over $50K for an explorer? yowzers. To only use it about 1,000 miles/year.

I get it. But same car with a stick price would start with a 5. Rebuild not completely unusual on a 993, BTW.
now that I got permission, I got cold feet. LOL. Maybe I should hold out for an '08 or '09. Not like I'm in a rush. I know that one is a good deal and may regret it, but, then again, could regret not getting the RIGHT one.

Helped a friend nail down a lease on a CR-V EX-L AWD in Western PA - he is picking it up tomorrow (thanks @kyfdx!). His lease is up this month on his Hyundai Tucson.
These things simply are not aggressive leases - combination of low incentives, low margin between MSRP and invoice, and enough demand to keep them moving. Seems to be true of the other competitors in the space, too - they didn't do much better.

trying to see what '09 offers. I see mention of PCM and bluetooth. Figuring I'd likely go aftermarket anyway, I'm not sure I see any value. Is there anything else?

I’d buy it for $5K because it’s going to cost another $15K to take all the tackiness out of it and repaint it.

Curious on the payment and MSRP to see how it compares to my Mom's RAV. That wasn't the best lease either, but she loves the thing and that's more important than anything else.

Nice car
I suspect that Legend will have a bidding war - when I first pulled up the link 30 minutes ago, it was at $5000. Just refreshed, and the bid is now $5800.
Yeah....frankly, if that was to go for anything around $6,000 (which it won’t), I would kick myself for not buying it, regardless if I had room for it.

That Econoline conversion might be unique enough to keep your interest. I’ve seen a number of them on the car rehab shows. Low miles. Relatively cheap as long as it’s not a hack job.
