I didn't know much about money factors and residual value when I went in yesterday and i'm learning all about this now but the numbers that were given to me were

Money down was to include tax, first month, and bank fee which they came up with $3926.16

And my monthly lease would be $588.56.

Can you help me make sense of these numbers and or give me the accurate money factor so I can try and see if these numbers match up at all.

The $1400 of payments will add over $30/mo to your payment, before tax. Why not wait 4 months, when the current lease is up (it's not like you're driving a beater - it's a GTI!)

Next, we recommend you add the taxes and fees to the selling price, and only pay the first payment and DMV costs up front. Ask the dealer for the adjusted cap cost with those items added in.

As is, your given prices result in a payment of $546/mo

There is an MSD program, but we don't have the details.

One pay lease lowers the MF by .00060 for 36 months; however, Audi FS imposes a .00005 minimum MF for any lease.

The sticker price is $49,365 I have negotiated the price down to 44,000.  I am looking for 36/12 sales tax in MD is 6% I have a bit of negative equity on my trade.....5k.  I really do not want to put down any money at all......what would a reasonable monthly payment be?  Thanks

The $5K of negative equity will add almost $140/mo to your payment. Is there a way you can wait and make that number smaller?

And, MD calculates lease sales tax against the entire selling price.

Plus, there is an $895 acquisition fee, and whatever dealer fee you are being charged (let's go with $499)

So, your total cap cost is $44,000 + $2640 (tax) + $895 + $499 + $5000 (negative equity) = $53,034

With the MSRP you've supplied, and the lease figures I've shared, that results in a payment of $755/mo
