Hey! Looking to lease at the end of July, so I'm sure numbers will change a bit. I'm in Texas (Austin, if it matters), got numbers for a Prestige at 52.7k? Looking at 36mo, 7500 miles (is it actually cheaper than 10k? I drive around 6k). I'm thinking of 5k down

    FWD or Quattro?

Yes, the numbers will likely change next month, but probably not enough to substantially change the payment

    7500 mile residual is 1% higher than 10K - so, $520 over 36 months, or $14/mo

We do not recommend a down payment on a lease - that money would be lost if the car is stolen or totaled.

And, you'll pay taxes on the entire selling price in TX, which makes your lease payment higher than other states

    Sorry, quattro.

Interesting, so maybe it's just better to take the 10k. Does that 520 include the extra tax? Without any down-payment, it's around 570/580 or so?

Come July, I'll probably ask about the lease numbers specifically. Thanks! :)

It's always better to set up the number of miles you think you'll need. They get more expensive as the lease progresses.

What do you mean it gets more expensive? I'll just go with the 7500 miles then, since that's really all I need. So for the quattro @ 7500 is 520?

Thank you very much, this is helpful

Hi, do you have numbers for a 2017 A4 Quattro Premium Plus w/ Technology Package? Lease term 12k/36mo - MSRP reduced to $44,960. Original MSRP was $49,125. Location is Illinois (Chicago-area).

No, the $520 would be the extra cost over the lease term of going from 7500 to 10000 miles.

We would need to know the adjusted cap cost to figure the payment.

55% and .00045; MF is marked up.

What is the adjusted cap cost, and can the dealer adequately bridge the difference to that number from the selling price?

Is this the Chicago area, or Chicago itself? It matters as the lease taxes are considerably higher in the city.

It was a dealership in the suburbs. I think the adjusted cap cost is just $44,960 (after an additional $1750 rebate). I haven't yet tried to negotiate that number farther down because the lease numbers looked too high for me to continue discussing it with them at the time.

It would be helpful to come back to them better informed. Thanks a lot for your help!

Seems like '17s are slim pickings.

Dealer is floating a custom order - 52k MSRP, for a quattro Prestige. 10k/36mo, any possibilities of numbers of that? In Texas.

He's giving me a 54k MSRP with a 3% discount for a custom order. I'm not sure how much to push on those prices, and I'm not sure how much more of a discount I can get on that seeing that it's a new model.

You're likely to get a better deal on the old model, yes.

For Audi, we suggest a target price of 6% off sticker, before incentives.

Looking for TX MF/Res for 36/10 for traditional and single pay options for A4 Quattro Premium Plus.

    Also,
    1. Could you please explain the implications of a single pay option on sales tax in TX? My understanding was that there was some kind of savings there. (TX charges sales tax on entire purchase price for lease). In this case, does Net Cap Cost = Residual?
    2. Could you please comment on the value of the Audi Care option? I heard that it raises the Res by 1%, and may help with some wear and tear items on lease turn-in.

    Thx.

    .00045 and 56% for 36/10

    $750 bonus cash

One pay reduces the MF to .00005

AudiCare does increase the residual by 1% - it is a pretty good deal because of that.

Texas dealers often run sales tax credit specials, but I'm not aware of any connection between the one-pay approach and taxes.

Just a quick follow-up from above on the mechanics of 1-pays - is Net Cap Cost supposed to equal Residual?

Also, I forgot to ask if Audi offers Conquest (conversion from competitor lease) bonus cash.

    Thx.

No... On a single pay lease, you aren't making a large CAP cost reduction.. you are basically putting all of the payments in escrow, to be deducted as scheduled. In exchange for providing the money upfront, the money factor is reduced, but otherwise, it works just like a normal lease.

No conquest money on this model.

Could you please get me the updated June numbers for 42/12k, 2017 Audi A4 2.0 TFSI Auto Premium quattro AWD, with Maryland sales tax of 6%. MSRP is $43,775, negotiated sales price down to $39,660.

Gap is $42,690.00, includes tax, tag/registration, documentation, electronic filing, and title.

MF, Residual, incentives, and monthly payment?

You guys ran those numbers at 36/12 for me, but I wasn't sure if the change in months effected the Residual.

    Thank you.

Hello, What is the MF and Res for a 2017 A4 Quottro in FL for 36/12 Premium plus? The dealer is asking for 0.00085 ND RESI OF 55.
    MSRP: 48625
    NET CAP - 44,406
    SALES TAC - 1724
DEALER AND STATE FEE - 1250
    TOTAL PRICE - 47830.66
NET TRADE - -(3020) -OWE Money
    CURRENT DOWN IS 2700.
    What should be the payment?

    Thank you

    Jay

    .00045 MF and 55% residual

There is no upfront sales tax in Florida, except on amounts paid upfront. Florida taxes the payment, monthly. That's a really big dealer fee, as state fees are likely less than $300.
Also, no mention of the $895 acquisition fee.

They've really just given you a purchase quote, not a lease quote. Some of those numbers aren't applicable to a lease, and other numbers are missing.

$3000 of negative equity adds $90/mo.+ to the payment.
Nothing is going to look cheap, while rolling that amount in.

    That's a big doc fee.
No accounting for the $895 acquisition fee in that number.

If I add $895 to the "Balance", and use that as the adjusted CAP cost, I get $586/mo.+tax.
Adding 7% tax gets me to the $627/mo number.

Other than the giant doc fee, it looks pretty decent.

Sorry for all the questions, but was noticing that

Could you also please provide 48/10 traditional and single pay MF / Res? Thx.

btw - It appears that single pay in Texas caps sales tax at 1.25% (much better than the 6.25%).

48 month terms from Audi are not competitive.

42/10 numbers are .00065 and 52%; one pay still brings the MF down to .00005

Could I please have MF & residual for Premium + & Prestige 12/36 in MA?

Are there any incentives? If I am eligible for $750 loyalty cash can I also get other incentives or is it either/or?

    Thank you!

    Assuming Quattro, .00045 and 55% (P+) or 50% (Prestige)

$750 bonus cash and $750 loyalty; these should stack.
