I got a quote yesterday on a 2017 A4 2.0t Prem+ with Sport+ and Tech (MSRP 51,675) they were taking $5k (46,675) off sticker but wanted to mark the money factor up from .00012 to .00137 and then would agree to lower it to .00072. 53% RF.

Thoughts?

What kind of discount will the dealer give you if you insist on the base MF?

You'd have to run the numbers both ways.

I'd also get other dealers involved to have them compete for the right to earn your business.

I'm being told that there are less available incentives on a 2017 demo w 7k miles vs a new 2017. Does that make sense? I thought demos were eligible for the same incentives as new cars which is why the numbers are often more aggressive (on demos). Any insight?

We don't have any information on Audi demos.

Some makes (BMW, for example) have great deals on demos/service loaners, but others don't.

Found a CPO Audi that the dealer says is eligible for lease. Few questions before I proceed with an offer.

When calculating the residual, how does Audi account for the miles on the car? $.25/mile off residual like BMW?

Also, would the residual amount be based off the vehicles original MSRP or the current list price (which they have discounted approx 2K)?

We don't have the numbers for the balloon note programs.
You are at $490/mo. without the negative equity. If it were a lease, I'd say that is pretty expensive for a 48 month lease on a $40K MSRP vehicle.
